On our way home from Myrtle Beach on Spring Break towards home we stopped about 2pm for some McDonald's. The restaurant was clean well staffed in kitchen but the register was closed. Orders only taken from the kiosk or drive thru only no real person at all!! We placed our orderes! Saige and I got Chicken Nuggies with her getting Tea and Fries!! Deacon went with a plain cheeseburger Happy Meal w small sprite while Kayla enjoyed a couple snack chicken wraps w her water! Joshua just wanted a coke because he was still enjoying his sandwich from Buccee's in Florence Noel went with the new Arch sandwich w Fries and a Iced and Calliope had a nugget Happy meal w milk. We were all full and had a nice break from the road. The food was great! Service was different but Great. Highly recommend if your traveling!! read more

This was the absolute worst experience ever at this location. I sat in the dual drive-thru for 8 mins as 4 cars ordered before me. I pull out of line and go inside. Big Mistake! Stood at the counter for another 6 minutes and no one came to take my order. I refuse to take my Own Order at a kiosk. That's what your customers pay you for! You had one job. Egg McMuffin meal with diet coke. I happened to hear the people behind me in the drive thru order their meal w/substitute bacon on their's. I get to the pickup window and the lady asks me - did you have the "substitute bacon" which I replied "No, that's the car behind me." I take my food and leave. Taste the soda. It's not diet Coke. I open my McMuffin. It has regular bacon. I'm not really mad about the muffin - I didn't know you could sub and this is really good. I feel bad for the people behind me that didn't get their bacon. Grabbing a quick bite for breakfast. The lobby and sitting area was very clean. I didn't have to wait long to order and it was served up quick. The food was made to order and taste great I did notice the manager was a little uptight because of new hires not quite getting things right. A customer came in that had been waiting for their order from the drive thru for almost 14 minutes she said. Ordered on the app because I know this location can be slow. Last time I waited 30 mins for mobile order, and noticed they printed my ticket and just left it off to the side, went to give them another chance but same thing happened. Ordered ahead on app, and showed up, order didn't show up on the screen and waited for 45+ mins and brought it to their attention and they asked what we ordered. Lobby was full, a lot of people waiting on orders and waiting to order. Someone asked for manager and manager just told her she was busy "doing her job" which was fries. And told another girl to go help the lady at the register out. My fiancé noticed our little sticky ticket order was stuck to a little wall poster by the ketchup. It was blended in, but don't print a ticket order until the order is complete. We finally got my food and the order was wrong, cold, and even the overcooked fries where cold and slushies were melted.. pretty sad that fast food isn't fast food anymore. I can see why those who work here don't work in an actual restaurant because with that service they'd be going home without tips. And yall still ask for a higher hourly pay when yall can't even say hello I've worked in fast food and plenty of customer service jobs. What a disaster! This McDonald's is perpetually under stocked, has a dirty dining room, extremely slow service, and I know that it is fast food but you would think that they can hire somebody a little bit more intelligent and a little bit more motivated than the people who work at this location. I ordered a big Mac extra value meal at the drive-through, and the knucklehead working said "we don't have a big Mac Extra Value Meal". It's literally the first thing on the menu! He finally rang me up a Big Mac "meal". I ordered large, and of course, they gave me a medium. I shouldn't be too upset however, because at least I got a Big Mac and not something else like a Fillet o' Fish. I've been to this location multiple times, as it is the closest and most convenient location for me. I'm not sure I'm going to continue to go back to this place. They consistently get the items in my order wrong, and twice they have literally made my order disappear. When this place was new and struggling, that was to be expected. However, this location has been here for multiple years now and working at McDonald's is really not that hard. You would think that it was molecular biology given their difficulty in accomplishing the most basic mission of a Donald's. It is neither fast, nor friendly. There are four burger joints within a quarter mile and this is easily the worst! If you are a fast food establishment, and I have rated you on yelp, you were either doing an outstanding job or you are horrible and you should consider shutting down immediately. Horrible service! I go to grab the hotcakes and sausage for the kids and the sausage is never cooked well. I always ask for it well done. I was asked to drive to the third window today and I waited for twenty minutes before I had to get out of the car and ask for my food at the second window. The line was wrapped around the building so clearly I couldn't get back into the line. The cashier forgot I was at the third window and my bag was still sitting at the register with an undone sausage inside!! I'm late for work and pissed off!! I order a quarter pounder expecting a fresh cooked to order burger. When I got to work which was less than 5 minutes away,the bun and the burger were cold. I ordered it with mayo and bacon hoping for a fresh burger. i spent $8 for a burger and fries and it wasn't fresh. I think you should be able to sue for false advertisement, nothing ever looks like it does on tv and the service is horrible. I ordered 4 ice creams and a tea via the mobile app and went into lobby to pick up. I waited over 30 min while witnessing the manager yelling at her staff and throwing things. Every time she was asked for the status of an order, she would get more angry and refused to even turn around to look at the customers when she would rudely answer them, if they even received an answer. I have NEVER witnessed anything like it and was embarrassed and ashamed for her and felt so awful for her employees. I finally received my order after asking several times and witnessing several people walk out, without even asking for a refund. Thankfully my children weren't in there to witness it. Truly a horrible experience and all because of a dysfunctional manager, who clearly has anger issues. If I could give it negative stars I absolutely would. read more

i went to this mcdonalds tonight for a mcflurry. i paid extra for a mcflurry instead of a sundae so that i could have my oreos evenly distributed throughout my ice cream. i didn't want to make a mess stirring it in my car, but of course they did not stir my mcflurry when i paid for them to do so. on top of my mcflurry issue, as i waited i saw an employee making phone call for about two minutes on a personal phone. as a former mcdonalds employee i'm pretty pissed but more so disappointed in the terrible service from this location read more

My family stopped at by this McDonalds for breakfast while traveling, and saw no sign on the exterior door stating that the dining room was closed. We were given our drinks and 3 out of 4 of us sat down at a table to wait for our food. We had to pick a clean table that didn't have crumbs on it, I'm assuming from other people having eaten there. Unless the employees are eating there and not cleaning up after themselves. When my husband was given the food nobody stated that the dining room was closed. We sat, handed out food, and condiments. We started eating. We went and asked for napkins. We were then asked to leave the dining room after having started eating. We had to pack up our food, and carry our partially eaten pancakes and open syrup to our car and finish eating in the car. Do you know what it's like to eat pancakes in a car? My car is not a restaurant. The fact that the employees saw us sitting and we were able to partially eat some of our food and go ask for napkins before being told that the dining room was closed is completely negligent, and rude. There were many opportunities for any employee to say something about the dining room being closed. In fact I might recommend that if an establishment doesn't want people dining in, then they should lock the doors or put the chairs on the tables, or put up barriers preventing customers from going to the tables. I would also recommend that the employees simply let people finish eating, then implement barriers/signage or be conscientious to state that the dining room is closed. I would not recommend going to the Killian Rd McDonald's. read more
