I always order a junior sandwich with a small green salad. Service is friendly and fast. They great you when you walk in the door. And I always use my credits. read more

I've been twice and found their food bland. Usually I give a restaurant three visits before making a final decision whether to go back or not. This one is one I just can't go back to. read more

This place is as good as it gets for lunchtime sandwiches in my opinion after only one visit, my wife and I are both fans. Saw many great reviews online and decided to pay this deli a visit today. We shared a couple different items and were delighted with our selections. Shared a dipper sandwich as well as a Reuben. Both sandwiches were extremely tasty and served on excellent bread. We received stellar service from Nora today . She truly helped with our selections. Her courteous and friendly service were very much appreciated. We will return another time and try a couple of other selections!! read more

I stopped in on the way home. The service was very quick. I had the chicken critter sandwich. It was ok. I felt it was a little too much bread, but a delicious concept. This location was cute and located downtown. read more

It's pretty good, the waits can get crazy if you hit it at the wrong time but I think that pretty much anywhere nowadays. Whether you're dining in, ordering to go or catering for lunch it's always tasty. The staff is always friendly but the ambiance doesn't scream sandwich shop. It almost feels like an old saloon turned into a sub shop, not bad just a little odd. Definitely give it a try though. The formula 45 sauce slaps! read more

The food (STP dipper) was absolutely delicious as always!! Service is always on point! The ambiance makes me want to continue eating here.

My favorite is the all turkey Apollo Dipper, but I ate it so fast I forgot to snap a photo! We've been eating here for years. Hubby gets the Brown Moose and our 20 YO likes the Turkey STP x's 2! read more

I just had my first baby and my entire pregnancy, my number 1 craving was an STP from Groucho's. We stopped for lunch on our way home from the hospital, and I can honestly say that it was worth the 9 month wait. 5 stars. No notes. read more

Food was amazing as always. Our sever was super attentive and kind. The restaurant was very busy and she still took the time to check on us several times. Highly recommend!! read more

Ready on time just as I ordered it. I was checked on by staff not long after I walked in to see what I was waiting on.

I read all the reviews and ordered based on them. I must have missed the magic. Food was terrible and not worth the price. Never again. read more

We placed an online order through the app for after church. Pick up was quick and everything was delicious!

This Groucho's Deli location stays pretty busy! I highly recommend getting there early before the lunch hour hits full force. My little family and I got there in the middle of lunch rush on a Monday and it took a while for our food to come out. Once it came out though, it was superb! I love Groucho's and always have since I went to college at USC. I used to always order the Pink Moose, or the Apollo Dipper, but this time, I went with the Reuben Variation and found a new found love on their menu! It was very yummy & really hit the spot. Also, I could literally dip anything ever in their Formula 45 sauce and it would instantly taste better... Anything! read more

Friendly, quick service. Great portion sizes that are very tasty. Great place to meet friends for lunch.

Had the wife's salad and 45 sauce. This is by far the best salad!! Also had an Arnold Palmer to drink. Delicious and could not eat it all! Thank you Groucho's! read more

My absolute favorite deli! I grew up going to the original location in 5 Points, and we absolutely love this Lexington location. Fantastic friendly service too! I live out of state now and every time we go to SC to visit family, we also have to eat here at least once. read more

Always good food and always good service. Very dependable even in sketchy times. Thanks, Groucho's!

Got a sandwich and asked for no spring mix and it comes with spring mix on it then send it back and they picked a lil off and sent a cold sandwich back. Asked for my chips and the girl says it doesn't come with chips but menu says it does... used to be a decent place not anymore Out of cookies Bad service bad food read more

"Great food" covers it, but I'll give some more detail. That's not to say that it's wrong. It is great food. My customer suggested Groucho's as an alternative to the fast food joint that I had been frequenting. Good choice! A very quick look at the menu and my eye was drawn to the first thing on there - the Apollo Dip. Ham and turkey with melted cheese. It was heavenly. Not the largest portion, but the right size for lunch. I left full but not stuffed. As for why they call it that, I have NO idea. The sweet tea was excellent. Tip: Try to avoid the peak lunch rush. The courthouse is nearby and it can get rather busy during that time. read more

Never had a bad experience - quality food and quality people. Mind bendingly consistent with their food - hard to do for any restaurant - and they set the standard. Been dining w Groucho's for well over a decade. Keep it real in da field. read more

Love my Apollo Dipper! Groucho's is a family favorite for my guys. The staff is wonderful and always takes good care of us.

Amazing food with huge portions!!! They are always friendly and willing to help. It's been unbearable hot so this is a welcomed change from hot foods read more

Microwaved sandwich to melt the cheese. Very bland. Grandson took one bite of his grilled cheese and wouldn't eat any more. Don't waste your time or money eating here, read more

As soon as you walk in you feel like you time travel back to the 80's. The location might need some renovating but it's kind of a neat atmosphere. Most of the sandwich options are pretty delicious, can't go wrong with any choice really. It does seem like this location is ran by teenagers so service isn't always the best but I usually get my food to-go. Prices are good and I guarantee you'll feel satisfied almost every time you choose Groucho's Deli. (with the food) read more

This is one of my favorite places to stop for a super good salad. My wife's salad bowl with formula 45 dressing is top notch. It's a HUGE salad with tons of meat and cheese, plus tomato, cucumber, and of course lettuce. It's absolutely delicious and honestly I've never ordered anything else there, but their sandwiches do look good as well. Customer service is great. The parking situation is awful though as the parking lot is always full. read more

Wonderful sandwich, my turkey sandwich was slightly toasted the way I love it. All kinds of sandwiches on all kinds of breads. A must go to eat. read more

I've been eating at Groucho's Deli for 25 years or more. They typically have great salads and sandwiches. But the Lexington location has consistently had terrible service for the past five years. I have given them feedback privately several times in the past. It seems to make no difference. I'm beyond second chances after today. I ordered an Angel salad with feta for take out. It was 30 minutes late from the pick up time given. After getting home I see my salad has barely any turkey, no tomatoes and no feta (which I paid extra for). I was so put out with them I called for them to make another salad to replace it. The person on the phone tells me my total...what? You mean you're charging me for a product that you screwed up to begin with? She then tried to shame me for returning a salad! I wouldn't have to return it if they didn't mess it up in the first place! I just told her never mind. I am so done. It's a salad not rocket science. The last time I ate there in person was ridiculously bad too. I ordered a chicken power salad. It took an hour for it to come. And then when it came it was smaller than a typical side salad. I asked the server why is it so small. She said it was because they only had small plates and were out of baskets. Really? Not even kidding! I cannot even fathom giving that bad of service! I prefer supporting local businesses and I believe in second chances, but we are way past that point here. I will not be back to this location. ***I have never had this problem at any of the other locations. They all have fantastic service.*** read more
