I try not to complain I really do but holy smokesss... They forgot my drinks and she shut the door in my face so quick before I could even ask her for them and then a different lady gave me my drinks and I said "my sauce?" Because I did not see it in the bag they basically threw at me... and she said oh it's at the bottom of the bag? Like why is it at the bottom am I supposed to take all the food out to check? No ? So I drive home 20 minutesssss to realize they forgot my buffalo sauce for my nuggies and they made my sandwich wrong ugh just do your job.. you are not forced to mess up my food? You can work wherever you wannttt ya know ...Lol but I am thankful to have food and I know there is bigger issues in the world. I rarely leave bad reviews but here it goes. Lobby is closed- I get it.. Covid. Then we wait in line for 20 minutes for an ice cream cone or McFlurry.. we get up to order and the board says "sweet treats back soon." What?? Then we suggest that they should post a sign before people wait in line and the employee says, "oh.. yea.. you should do that." No apologies for the inconvenience or explanations. Seems like every now and then, you just get screwed by either a counter person, or by the McDonalds app. It's bad enough that in order to get a decent price, you MUST use the app. But it seems the app on occasion, randomly omits an item. Who needs this aggravation. I'm not ordering awesome food. Buying fast food is supposed to be easy and affordable. Seems like it's becoming more difficult all the time. While I can afford missing out on a discount, what I never wanted was the aggravation when making an order. Today, not only did the app delete an item that was eligible (free med fries with minimum $2 order). But then the counter person gave me a double cheeseburger instead of the triple cheeseburger I ordered. Double whammy ! I don't need this in my life, but then again, who does ? read more

Went into McDonald's the other day and stood at the counter while the people behind the counter ignored us and helped 8 drive thru orders before they even said, "I'll be with you in a minute". Then when they served us our order the girl (shirt said crew trainer) was so rude when I asked for extra sauce for a 20 piece nugget! The fries were badly burnt and I asked if we could get "fresh" fries, to which she replied, "IF I make fresh ones you will have to wait for 3 more minutes"... I said okay, that's no problem, we will wait. When the fries were done she pulled our order and left under the heat lamps and walked away. I asked another employee, "We have been here for half an hour, can we please get our 2 medium fries?" He went to the back, and the girl that walked away made a rude gesture to us and told him to fill the order!! Worst service ever!! read more

McDonald's is getting cheap lmao. The last two times we went there they gave us our sodas half filled. No ice. And we had to ask for ice and for them to fill the cup up more. It honestly made us mad because how can you make our sodas, not fill it up all the way and just be like eh yeah it's fine. No. Better off going in and getting the soda ourselves from the fountain. The soda is good too but why are you not filling it up all the way? Then the last time we were there we used my McDonald's app to get a free medium mccafe drink. We get up to the window and they hand us a small. So we tell the guy that's a small and he agrees and brings it back because it was a small cup lmao. Then the girl behind him says no that's a medium, we look on the cup and there's an m there for medium. They downsized their cups or at least their mccafe cups which honestly I think is ridiculous. A fast food chain as popular as McDonald's should not be downsizing their cups and not filling the cups up all the way, especially with how expensive the fries are? They're making a fortune on the fries alone and they're downsizing cups and not filling things up all the way to save money? Potatoes are not even that expensive, and they buy their fries frozen. Chino Valley is a very small town. Having a McDonalds in most other cities is something taken for granted but in places like this it is an important entity. Yes, everyone bad mouths Mickey D's but it does provide a consistent product wherever you go. I stopped in for a quick breakfast last Saturday morning and got my Egg McMuffin and drink. This restaurant is small but still provides the full McDonalds menu. They take care of this property. Everything was clean and there was a friendly employee hosing down the parking lot. Drive thru line was so long, we thought it would be faster to go inside. Big mistake! First thing, I ordered at 10:50 am and was told no breakfast after 10:30. So I ordered the 40 chicken nuggets with 4 orders of fries. The next girl ordered at 11:06 and was told no breakfast after 11:00 by the same cashier. She ordered one hamburger, and was still waiting for it when I left. I finally got my food at 11:20, after going up and questioning if my order had been lost. So many complaints over dumb things like having to pay for sauce (several McDonald's make you pay when you want 8 sauces), milkshakes melting (milkshakes don't get colder when you drive home so I would laugh too if I were an employee). I've never had an issue with my order since I seldom order more than one or two items. My issue is with the drive-through. Since Covid, only the drive through is dependably open. My usual wait time is 20 minutes. Too long. The shortest has been 5 minutes where there were no other cars in the lane, a very rare situation. Yesterday six different cars left the line rather than wait, and since the line wrapped the building I could understand. I would have left too but I was already too far into the line. I finally got my iced coffee a full 25 minutes after I pulled into the line. Why doesn't the staff move the cars with complicated orders out of the way so orders like mine are filled and the line moves? More customers, more income, better reviews. Simple! read more

So much for a McDonald's always being clean. Todays visit, 3:10 p.m. was the worst for cleanliness I have ever experienced at a McDonald's in many many years. GROSS! Grimy, greasy and food strewn floors. Completely unacceptable for any McDonalds and for this new store especially. Every table was dirty, no excuse. Really makes me wonder if this manager cares about the customer experience. If this store got really busy just think how far behind they'd be on cleanliness and whatever else they aren't doing. They messed my order up, no surprise there. How can a bun have ketchup on the outside when it clearly came with a sticker that said no ketchup? Where'd they drop it? Guess nothing will change at this location even with a new store. My experience was worse by far today than even before the new remodel. Worst service ever! We spent $33.00 and had the receipt in hand and showed four separate individuals including two. What? I'm supposeding are managers and they refused to give us our order that we paid for. The first lady was was very helpful. She tried but when we were sent to the second window the second lady said because it was breakfast even though we ordered before breakfast was over that they were unable to honor that. So she went and got another quote" manager and then that manager said that they could replace our meal with a substitute. We ordered 12 McGriddles and asked for two bundle boxes which is the equivalent of the same price and they refused to give it to us. Said they had to charge us for the bundle boxes and our money would come back within 2 to 3 business days and if it didn't we could contact our bank. Worst Mickey D's on the planet. I've gone there many times. Service is good, people are friendly, but the food is terrible. Last time I went, I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese. Well Folks, sorry to make this complaint...but, here goes.... my Husband and I were driving home from a day in Prescott... while driving through Chino Valley, we both thought a Chocolate shake sounded good...we pulled into line and ordered the shake and continued driving home... I thought I would open the plastic top and stir in the Whipped cream... when I opened the container the milkshake was so melted it spilled all over my top, and in the car... when we got home I called to make a complaint... a young girl answered the phone, when I explained what had happened she kind of laughed and said "Guess we shouldn't be setting the Milkshakes next to the French Fries... " I believe that they make the Milkshakes ahead and are setting out until sold... they have lost a Customer, and think they need more oversight on their employees...will not be back and will definitely not be returning... read more

AWFUL. I always order the #6, the nugget meal. I specify that I want a large meal. Which is large fries, large drink, and 10 nuggets, with the barbeque sauce. Somehow, they always give me a medium fry, which is COLD and hardened. Also, my drink only ever has 2-3 ice cubes in it, making the drink WARM. Their employees are very rude as well. This is the worst place to work if you are NOT HISPANIC......I started three days ago (So obviously I need to be oriented)...today I come in to work and this lady I have never seen tells me not to do something and then she does the thing she tells me not to do...like she is trying to get me in trouble.....I am cooking the food and keeping trays full and she tells me to clean the back of the grill and clean the vents (which I have never done)playing Spanish music all day and the employees are speaking nothing but spanish.. This is the absolute WORST McDonalds I have ever been to. They mess up my drive thru order almost every time. When we go to dine inside everything is filthy.... tables, soda station and bathrooms. If you ask for something as simple as pickles added you won't get it. They added another drive up window without another lane and all it did was screw up the parking lot and cause mayhem. The coffee is go, but you don't get to add your sugar or cream. You have to ask them and they add it even when you dine in.

Service is extremely slow. Missing food from our tray and they had a fit giving it to us. Missing a hot n spicy and a large fry. Lady was like do you have your receipt . Turns out when she took our order she only rang in one large fries instead of TWO large fries. Then they didn't even give us them given it was her mistake for not ringing them in. Get some younger folks working in this chain that can hear and can put some elbow work into their work. Yes, it's small and can get crowded but I have always been treated very well and never have had to wait very long for an order. The staff here is very friendly and accomodating. I really appreciate their effort. The newly remodeled Mc Donald's is open. Very nice. More room. Still being treated very well. Can't complain about the food. This McDonald's was remodeled a few months ago and what they with the building is great! But they certainly didn't remodel their staff while they were at it too. This McDonald's, is literally a waste of your time and a waste of money. They manage to screw your order up quite often. And if you want any simple condiments (such as ketchup) you will need to ask 5 times at the first window, and than an additional 5 times at the next window. And they still manage to not give any to you. These people do not care about the service they provide to you, or how your food is handled. And I mean that quite literally between cross contamination, lack of wearing gloves, and the fact they love to throw your food around to their fellow coworkers after they have bagged it, only for you to open up your big mac to find it had gone through three tours of MCnam. I wish I was joking but I have had nothing but bad experiences with this establishment, some experiences obviousky posted above. Just Remodeled The Place last year and who ever the brilliant engineer was totally screwed up the way you drive through now which as other people have commented on they always screw up your order! That is because they added an extra talk box in the drive through however it is not like most where there are 2 lanes and 2 speaker menus, there is only one lane and 2 speaker menus so half the time only window 2 is open anyway because otherwise they don't know who ordered what because it all comes from the same lane, it was suppose to be an improvement however it is far from an improvement and I bet the employees would agree. Today I drove through and for the first time in about a year the first speaker was on and working so I placed my order pulled through and when I got to the second speaker I was asked what I wanted and had to say I had already been helped when I got to the pay window the girl was lost and had to ask what I ordered, when I went to pick up my food the other girl had to ask me if I ordered xy and z I said no i ordered AB and c and then she handed me the correct order but forgot my drink after getting my drink I was finally on my Merry way Unbelievable that they thought a single drive Lane would work with 2 speaker menus DUH read more

I've given this McDonalds location several opportunities to come up to par in areas of service and cleanliness since their remodel. Last night will have been my last visit to this store. I was surprised by the speed of service experienced at the drive thru. Usually it takes forever. The food was put together well and the order was accurate too, for a change. What has me upset to the point of sharing publicly is both my father and I are both suffering the symptoms of food poisoning after consuming food last night from this McDonalds. The other reviews complaining about the lack of cleanliness of this store are absolutely true.
