Went before I got on the road for a trip to Norfolk. This McDonald's has two lines. I went to the outside line and got there at 11:10 or 11:15, with one person in front of me, both lines were even. Finally at 11:30 I get to the box. I wait and wait and wait. 5 cars from the other side go ahead of me. No one ever comes speaks from the box. 11:40 Finally right before the 6th car got in front of me I git I front of it and went to the first window. The lady apologized and said they were doing a shift change! And basically just said forget the outside line!! Then I get my drinks and then Im told to pull to the front and wait for fries. This McDonalds is one of the worst I've seen. The food is always cold. The hashbrowns for breakfast are always cold and soggy greasy. They're always out of what you want. Today they could not even serve a large coffee, because they didn't have any coffee cups. What kind of excuse is there for that? How can you be a business that sells coffee when you don't have any coffee cups? This place truly stinks. read more

This place is a joke! I went through the drive thru, there was only a few cars in front of me and I still waited 25 minutes for my food. Before I left the window, I noticed the burger was made incorrectly, I handed it back to the woman and explained what was wrong. She left the window and came back very quickly handing it back to me. I stupidly pulled away before checking it again. It was the same burger. The lobby was closed due to construction so I couldn't go in. I called for three days trying to reach someone and it would ring and ring and eventually someone would take it off the receiver. I hope they go out of business treating customers like that. read more

Every meal is cold, my breakfast sandwich the egg was still frozen. Multiple times I've gone and had cold food. Terrible location!

This McDonald's can be very crowded at peak hours (breakfast and lunch) due to its proximity to the courthouse and government complex. That means the drive thru and in store wait will be lengthier. But around 3pm? They moved so fast, I couldn't get my money ready together fast enough in the drive thru! I'm just glad that the drinks I've ordered have always tasted great (unlike some other locations). read more

Went through the drive thru at 11:05pm. After sitting at the order screen for five mins, I had to drive around to find an employee at the window only to tell me they were closed. I looked up the hours for this particular location and it says open until 12am () I wonder if the general manager of this location knows they're closing early. read more

The service has continued to decline in the past months. Orders are wrong, wait times are long, and employees are borderline rude. I've not made a review, hoping things would change; but things have only gotten worse. There used to be a really nice lady at the the drive thru, who always double checked the orders before they went out. I've not seen her in quite some time, all new employees, who are much younger. Fast food isn't a healthy choice anyway, but this McD's is the closest to us, so we occasionally would get breakfast or the $1 large tea. We will not be frequenting it as much anymore. read more

5 stars for service, not the food! The is the fastest McD's in the RVA area. Hands down. Everyone who works there is very polite and efficient. If only the McD's off of Broad were this awesome. I am tired of going through drive through and being told that they don't have diet Dr Pepper. If I say I know they do they say either that the girls at the other window don't like to make it or that I will have to go inside and fill it myself. I've experienced this 4 or 5 times and ended up going in last time and talking to the manager. She told me she would talk to the girls at the windows. Today it happened again. Never again in my life. I had to drive off already having for food, but never got it. I had to wait in the Drive Thru parking spot so they could bring it out- one damn cheeseburger- after waiting 20 mins, realized they forgot and I drove off. The drive-thru is always a mess; way too long to get your food. Today, I waited 20-minutes as a van with mom and kids must have ordered everything on the menu sat at the pickup window for 15 minutes; they never asked them to pull forward. That was today. 05/27/2018, at 7:23 PM; tried to do the survey on the receipt but the ink was low and the store number did not print out clearly. Been there several times before, the fried are ALWAYS luke-wam, soggy, even if you ask for fresh fries, they always say, YES, then hand you a bag in the drive-thru with fries they surely would not eat themselves. This place is the worst fast food location I have ever visited. They just remodeled and put in a two lane drive-thru which means you are waiting two times longer!! The service is rude and can't get a order correct. This past Sunday I went there and both lines were wrapped around the building so I went inside. There were two people ahead of me that had already placed their order and were waiting. A young man took my order quickly and I waited patiently while I watched at least ten employees standing around yelling at each other joking like they didn't have a care in the world. They were more interested in helping an employee that was ending her shift get her order and go than waiting on the three of us paying customers. Finally got my order after a long wait. Exited the building and the drive-thru was still sitting in the same position as when I went inside. Unfortunately this owner/operator owns both McDonald's locations in my area. They are both as equally bad in service and speed. Note to Mr. Pollard you should have maybe reconsidered spending all of that money on the remodels and instead invested in some quality employees that represent your establishment the way you would want to be treated. I know you are still making bank but one day you never know the Karma bug might bite you in the butt. read more

Better check your order 10 times before you leave the drive thru! Either they don't care, or really ARE as dumb as a brick! Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere! Food is always fresh. Drive Thru gets backed up in peak hours. They will also mess up orders from time to time.

This is by far the slowest, most unfriendly McDonald's I have ever been to. I moved to the Chesterfield area last summer and live close to this McDonald's on Iron Bridge Road. I have patronized this one at least 4 times, each visit at a different time of day. The first two times I figured I would give them a little grace after poor service, however, on the third visit, I was given back $20 too much in change. The person walked away, so after I figured out her mistake, I waited a few minutes until the cashier returned. When I told her politely that she gave me $20 too much in change, she snatched the money out of my hand and stated that the bill was folded up so it stuck to the one dollar bills. ??? LOL She never even thanked me...so much for being an honest person. Tonight was the last straw. I ordered two double hamburgers and fries. Exactly 10 minutes later, (YES, TEN MINUTES AT McDONALD'S) I received my order...the two burgers had only a pickle on each sandwich...no catsup, no mustard, no onions, etc. Every worker I saw seemed miserable, unhappy, and unfriendly. They were busy, but not unusual for a McDonald's restaurant. I've been to busier ones and got better service and correct food orders! This place seems to focus too much attention to the drive through to the detriment of patrons who walk in to dine. I'll drive 5 miles out of my way and go to the Hull Street McDonald's from now on. read more

Worst McDonald's ever! The service is poor, you wait too long, and then if you complain, they get indignant and act as though you shouldn't be upset. Many times my orders have been incorrect, food is sloppily assembled, and never hot! I have decided not to ever give my business to this establishment.
