We went through the drive-thru and somehow managed to age a few years waiting. It took over 5 minutes, which wouldn't have been an issue if the food was edible. The fries were so hard they could've snapped a tooth--basically chips. While waiting long enough to watch the entire 3-hour movie avatar, we looked through the window and saw exactly one employee... on his phone, casually eating fries himself. The food was better than most McDonald's in Michigan. The service was AMAZING! All of the employees that I talked to were nice and the person who took my order gave me joy talking to them. The service last night suffered a blow from my normal experience at McDonald's in Cedar Springs. I ordered using the app and drove to McDonald's, when you enter the driveway with the app, it automatically acknowledges your existence. I drove up, and both drive-through speakers were open, so I chose the left one. I waited about a minute and while doing so a second car pulled up after me into the right one and got called upon first. That was a little bit frustrating. The drive-through order taker contacted me finally, and asked if I had a mobile order, which I did, so I gave her the code. I was told to drive around. I got to the first window, and the girl was confused when she opened the window because she had no idea what I had, or really why I was there. I told her I ordered through the app And she said "oh, so you already paid. Go ahead and drive forward." This was an OK response. She was nice. Waited for the cars in front of me to clear, got to the next window, and that girl was confused when she opened the window Because she had no idea what I had really why I was there. This seems like I am accidentally retyping my other experience at the previous window, but I am not for about a minute I had to explain I ordered through the app paid through the app, and, what I had ordered. She asked around nobody really knew what I had or where it was. Finally, they asked me what my order number was so I shared that with them. They said my order disappeared, but they would remake it for me, I offered to pull forward to the Waiting area, and they said that was a good idea. Couple minutes later they brought out my food. I drove home and ate it. Everything was warm and crispy. I had a McChicken that was doctored up with cheese and stuff, and that looks like a third grader made it in a hurry. The worst McDonald's! The service accuracy and quality at this restaurant is absolutely horrible. Out of the last 10 visits, 8 of those have resulted in missing items, incorrect items, incorrect ingredients or food that is by no means fresh and deemed inedible. I'm not one to complain but enough is enough. You work for your money, choose to spend it at your franchise, order what you want, pay for what you order and get whatever the hell the staff feels like giving you or better yet, not giving you, spending unnecessary amounts of time to get it corrected just to be treated like you're the one responsible for the incompetence. This must be the dirtiest McDonald's I ever been to. Every booth and chair covered in crumbs. Tables and floors sticky and covered in whatever was left behind by patrons. Part of Covid prevention is at the very least wiping surfaces down. I don't expect miracles and understand restaurants are understaffed but come on! There was nowhere to sit. read more

I need to leave a review for this great McDonald's. We were traveling with 3 vehicles and 45 people (mostly 3rd-6th graders), and this place got everything right. Not one missed order, not one angry moment, and most importantly they did it fast. We made it in and out in under an hour, including the use of clean restrooms. This McDonalds is much nicer on the inside than other ones. The food was your average McDonald's food, but the service was somewhat slow. The biggest problem with this location is the lack of a play area. Those are so fun!!! Though I only use them when no one is around. It might be weird to see a 43 year old using the play area.
