I ordered a Mocha Frappe no whip cream and they asked me to pull over to a lane. 7 minutes later they brought out a Caramel Frappe. I explained my order when she returned it was a caramel frappe with no whip cream. Seems like they just scrapped it off. I tried to call to the girl who was walking out the food and she ignored me. So I parked and got off. When I could finally get the managers attention he said "are you sure it's caramel? It looks like a mocha." Then he turned around and walked away. He was right there processing other orders but kept his back to me and Never spoke to me again. In all I waited 25 minutes for this Frappe and I ended up walking off without it and I definitely didn't have time to be ignored trying to get a refund. They were both so rude and completely ignoring me even when there was no one waiting for food. Definitely intentional. Plus, it was very dirty in the kitchen. Food all over the floor. Just disgusting. They probably did me a favor - I was probably going to get sick. Corporate needs to look in on them. I haven't seen a McDonalds employee his bad in a while. read more

This place is nasty. Flies everywhere and the tables are not clean at all. I could barely eat here and I even told management that they needed to have better attention on the floor and tables and he just stared at me as if I was talking to myself. This place probably will not pass a health inspection. The restrooms were clogged up and did not have any toilet paper. Drivethru took 20 minutes to get through. After paying and getting to second window to receive food we are told they dont have chicken nuggets because their grease to cook them in has a problem. So my son gets burger instead. We had ordered one vanilla shake and one smoothy as their drinks. The shake was akin to warm milk and smoothy was pink water. Of the two McDonald's in town, this one is the better of the two. That being said, it is very slow, sodas usually taste bad, and the dining area is usually a mess. Plus, prices here in Carlsbad seem much higher than other places. read more

This McDonald's is well-managed. In there multiple times per week and I see how they manage the lines both inside and at the drive-through. It's not always the fastest but nice people and great service imo. read more

The customer service sucks! Was rushed to order after I told the employee multiple times I was looking at the menu. We got locked outside in the Play Place and nobody that worked here opened the door to let us out. Finally a customer came and opened the door. Plus the place play area was extremely dirty, which was the reason we were trying to get back inside. Also the Wifi at this location is not good.
