As Californians we had no idea what Texas sweet tea was, wow! We recently wandered into HTeaO and were greeted with such great customer service. HTeaO in Carlsbad New Mexico. We walked in because my son loves to try the different flavors and see if he wants to do a new mix instead of going through the drive-through. I have only had this from New Braunfels Texas but I am so addicted to the coconut and green almond mix. They call this mixture wedding cake. I love it. Unfortunately I poured my entire drink without trying it first because I always get the same mix. I love trying new things and new mixes, but the wedding cake tea hits the cake. The unfortunate part is when I tried it before paying for it. It was too bitter. It did not taste like the one that I always get New Braunfels. That being said there are other flavors that were good so I opted for a half sweet peach tea and half unsweet peach ginger tea. The tea did not taste bitter on this one. I love the products that they sell in store. They have their own HTO products, yeti, T-shirts, great drink cups, super fun snacks that you can't find in a convenience store, flavored tea bags to brew at home and fresh gallons of tea ready to go home with you. The staff was friendly, I love the concept, tea is my drink of choice, and the place was clean and conveniently located. I will still come here and hope they continue to grow to other states. I do wish they opened a bit earlier so I could grab some coffee in the morning. I'll try it someday but for now I'll stick with my tea. read more

First time trying HTeaO after hearing it from Instagram. We got a medium sweet coconut with a splash of sweet wild raspberry and extra ice and I can taste the hype. On a hot summer day, this would definitely hit the spot. Overall, great place for a refreshing drink. For a medium, regular price is $3.32. First time at HTeaO, had high expectations based on the drive thru line and their tea process. Went to Carlsbad nm location, it was blazing hot... First, we were lucky to stop by during happy hour on a hot day (2-5pm). Our drinks were half price. Can't beat that. Service was less than stellar. It's our first time here, so we are studying the menu and Mr behind the speaker in drive thru is rushing us and a bit abrupt. It's all fine. Maybe he's flustered about happy hour crowds, idk. We ordered Ryan Palmer, strawberry passion tea (summer exclusive) and a raspberry tea. All sweet teas. The flavors were just ok. Noticeable yet not sweet. The Ryan Palmer was the best of the three and tasted like a typical Arnold Palmer. I'm glad we tried it. But not in a rush to go back. I do recommend them but their flavors are so weak. They are barely detectable. I want to taste the peach and get a good zing from the ginger. I don't drink sweetened drinks so I really look for flavor. I'll follow up with another flavor and see if it is better tasting. read more
