I'm not sure where to begin. My mom and I headed to Juicy Peach yesterday to get a drink on the way out of Carlsbad. JP was the only specialty coffee place open on Sunday, so it was busy. We pull up to the menu. The drinks have creative names, and are pretty crude intoxicated and sexual innuendos. --White Girl Wasted --Face Down --Road Ho --S_X on your Face Sunrise --Cream Pie --Nut in her Peach Yeah. One of their specialty drinks translates to ejaculating into a woman's anus. I'm not sure who's idea this was, but that's not appetizing or amusing to me at all. Oh yeah, the service was terrible too. JP: What can I make for you? Mom: I'd like a chai latte, and what syrup flavors do you have for an Italian soda? JP: All of them. She turns around and starts making my mom's drink, we're both a little surprised by her answer, if you don't want to list flavors you could put them on the menu or make a laminated list...she comes back to the window to ask what flavor. Mom: Pear (she saw a bottle w/ pear) JP: We don't have pear. Mom: It's right there (points at the bottle) JP: That's prickly pear, do you want that? Mom: No, do you have lemon? JP: Yes, syrup or juice? Mom: Juice please. JP: Cream? Mom: No. She finishes the drinks and we pay and leave. We get on the road and I'm organizing the car a bit before enjoying my drink. I start to hear my mom coughing in the front seat. Turns out her chai latte is really just a sweetened latte with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Ok. She asks me to check my drink. It's an Italian soda w/ lemon syrup and so much cream I can barely taste the carbonation. I'm lactose intolerant and my mom just doesn't care for cinnamon at all. So we waited 20 minutes and paid $12 for drinks we poured out. If long waits, bad/incorrect service, and pornographic drink names are your cup of tea, by all means you'll love the Juicy Peach read more

The girl who made my drink this morning was very sweet, patient, and helped me navigate the somewhat vague menu by asking me questions. I ended up at a Cream Pie with mango, easy on the cream. It was so good y'all! Redbull smoothie with matcha to get you going? Yes, please. $6.99 for a large, pretty standard for a specialty smoothie-type drink. We accidently pulled up in the drive through thinking it was "La Patrona" but we decided we actually needed coffee really bad all of a sudden for some reason. The names of the drink are hilarious, a little inappropriate for kids so I made sure my daughter wasn't able to read the menu haha. I ordered the caramel latte and my husband ordered a hersheys coffee. The girl in the pick up window was nice and she asked me if I liked the coffee when she saw me try it, i told her IT WAS SO GOOD! Even my daughter who hates coffee didn't complain once she tried it. I'm still drinking it as I speak, I will definitely be returning if we visit again, we might get some more tomorrow for the road home! Really glad we tried this place out :) read more

The lady that served us was super sweet and we enjoyed talking with her. My boyfriend got a blended Red Bull drink and I got a vanilla iced coffee (on the sugary side, but that didn't bother me.) Worst coffee I have ever bought. They claimed they didn't have "dark shots' so they gave me "white coffee"in my cappuccino. No "coffee" at a coffee drive thru? LOL. It had zero flavor other than warm milk and water. Then when they serve it to you they tell you it costs 50% more? I asked for a sugar packet and she gave me Splenda, I asked for sugar again and she next gave me Equal. I asked third time for SUGAR she said she had no sugar packets? Do not waste your money for this crap. There are plenty of good roasters around. They must have customers for the skin they show. It definitely isn't the coffee. read more

This tiny coffee shop is delicious! They have a hilarious menu (I got a White Girl Wasted iced coffee) and the drinks are so delicious! They have a drive through but you can also just walk up to the window to buy a drink. The prices are pretty high but overall it's totally worth it. read more
