I downloaded Yelp just to complain about this place, since when you have managers saying it's whatever, they will deal with it--referring to the customers--and causing said customers to wait 45+ minutes, and then constantly ignoring people at the register, it's ridiculous. Moreover, once we got our food, they then forgot our drinks, so we had to wait even longer just for drinks. Just unbelievable. The owners can not keep up with customer demand. I mis takingly thought I would get out of my car and actually walk into this restaurant to order. They are obviously concerned most with all the lazy folks who want to sit in their vehicles and order. I stood in an almost empty area for 20 minutes watching what looked like 3 maybe 4 workers were struggling to keep up. The line outside was even larger by now. Terrible customer service, this McDonalds has 2 drive thru's, I sat in the inner drive thru as 2 cars on the outer drive thru was being helped. When I stated "I would like to place my order" the attendant stated I will be with you in a moment, another car pulled up on the outer drive thru and that same person that told me a moment, took their order. This has to be one of the worst McDonalds that I've visited. I pre-ordered my food using the new McDonald's app. It was easy to use and convenient, or so I thought. Once I arrived at the location, the app popped up I entered my parking spot. Shortly after I parked, a employee came out to let me know an item that I had ordered was no longer available. After waiting about 10 minutes, my food was brought out to my car. Once I arrived at home, we noticed that the three large fry boxes were only about a third full. When I contacted the store, the manager assured me that the employees had been properly trained on filling fry boxes and that they must have settled during transit. I definitely recommend the app. I highly recommend staying away from the Byron McDonald's. read more

I'm in my 40s and been to numerous McDonalds. This is consistently the slowest drive thru ever. Friends, family, and I rate this as slowest and most orders wrong of any place ever. They are lucky it is a small town with limited options or they would not survive. I have went on the McDvoice survey numerous times to explain probs because I want it to succeed but never changes. This was the absolute worst McDonald's I have ever been to!! The floor was filthy! The tables were filthy! The counters were filthy (both the counter where customers order AND behind the counter where the food is made and prepared! There were live and dead flies throughout the restaurant. The restrooms were disgusting! All of the garbages both inside and outside were overflowing. The employees (including the manager behind the counter) had a no-care attitude and extremely poor service. I would be doing a disservice to future customers if I didn't contact headquarters. This is the worst McDonald's we ever have been to. The service is horrible and the food is never hot. We waited ten minutes at the speaker to order our food and then when someone pulls up to the next speaker they waited on them. I cannot get good service from this McDonald's since they have opened. I have waited for my food for over twenty minutes and the only answer I get is that not enough people are on staff and no apology. How do you make me wait that long and hand me barely warm food and a wrong order? Over and over my order is always cold, wrong and they all seems to care less about the customer. More often than not I have had to go into the restaurant because they have messed up my drive thru order. If it's not made incorrectly there are usually items missing.
