This is a very large McDonald's with plentiful seating and parking. It's relatively clean and the service is fast.

May 16 2025 Waiting for my order,,see the dude making fries sniff, sniff again, sniff again, then wipe his nose with his hand, go back to cooking. I grab the nearest staff member, ask them to tell the guy to wash his hands. He does, but snot hands refuses to wash his hands, puts aglove 9n the hand he did not wipe snot on, in front of me, anyway, and xarries on cooking. I aak for a manager, he, like the staff I spoke to before, laughed, spparently thought it was funny, served people at tge till, said he would deal later, snotty hands cooking food for customers was not hos first concern,making money at the till was. read more

This is very near Costco. I popped by here sometimes after a Costco run, and I did not want to wait for a Costco hotdog. With covid, safety protocols are in place. Enter from one door and exit through the other. However the areas for ordering and waiting are confusing and the space seemed small for social distancing. Right now there is a staff stationed at the entrance monitoring the number of people allowed within. So kudos. The food here has been hit and miss. Sometimes they are sad looking, very different from the advertisements. And yet at other times, it can be wow. The egg and sausage McMuffin I had on my last visit inspired a wow moment. I think it was because the McMuffin was freshly made, still steaming hot. It was perfectly cooked and everything was tasty. The parking lot is quite big though one side is meant for curbside pickup. It can also be faster to just park and get your food inside than the drive thru too. read more

Hi tourist here. Came to Canada for Taylor swift and wanted to try exclusive Canadian McDonalds menu. Ordered 2 Cajun ranch mcwrap crispy along with a coke and sprite and went to park at the service lot. Not only did they not give us one of the mcwraps, but what they gave us was a mccrispy sandwich and no drinks. When the service lady passed by she was able to fix our menu but it was still wrong. We got two regular chicken and bacon mcwraps, and my sprite was water. read more

Workers seemed to have no idea what was going on. Poutine was 99% dry fries and they gave us half empty diet cokes, which we quickly realized were completely flat/mostly just syrup. We went at 1pm and it wasn't busy, so I'm not sure how they weren't able to properly pour a drink. Super disappointing and a waste of money. read more

My first impression from outside was wow, this one is huge. 2 floors! The second floor has its own separate kiosk and drink station which i never seen before. The upstairs dining area inside is so spacious, you could do some ballroom dancing up there. natural light comes in as there are lots of full length windows all along the walls. Nice view of all the other sprawling office buildings in the area. The outside patio is actually quite nice too with marble floors, fireplace, and plenty of tables. I 'd dine in here anyday. Service could be better though. I came on a sunday morning just before 11AM. boy, was it busy and slow! Took almost 15 minutes to wait in line to order and receive my mcgriddle meal. The staff there is not too friendly but it looks like they were too focussed on getting through the morning rush to do that. There was only one cashier working with 4 customers waiting in line in front of me. Should of had two on cash. Funny thing is I swear the cashier lady at the front is straight from the animated sitcom, Daria. She had the same monotonous voice, the unexcited (-_-) eyes, the "i don't really want to be here" vibe, the round rimmed glasses, and the longish brown hair. Thanks "Daria" for making my mcdonalds meal a good one. But i digress. my Mcgriddle meal was tasty and made well and that's all that matters. TL;DR: Good place to dine in, it's so big that busloads of people could fit inside, slow-ish service during mornings, food is well made, staff not overly friendly, and a "Daria" lookalike works here. read more

This McDonald's had me purely amazed. The attention to detail, the beautiful interior, the magnificent views of the city skyline. I can truly say I walked out of this McDonald's feeling reborn. While I was exploring this vastly beautiful facility, I had forgotten I had even ordered food. Upon my return to the pick up station, my order was ready for me in a snappy fashion. A nice touch I found was the amazing platform lift accommodation for wheelchairs. They really thought of everything! Overall, I would be thrilled to return to this location. If I could give 6 stars I would. Kudos to the designer of this enthralling fast food experience. read more

This place is horrible. I'm honestly laughing at how absurd our service was here. We went to the drive through and ordered 6 McPops, 2 of each flavor, 2 bacon ranch McWraps, a Grinch meal, a coke and a sprite. They told us to park and wait and they got it wrong FOUR times. At the drive through they gave us our McPops, but we ended up getting 3 vanilla, 2 strawberry, and 1 chocolate. We just let it go as it was not a big deal. They came to our car and dropped us off the "rest of the food" only to have half of it missing and wrong. They gave us the Grinch meal without the coke and a sandwich that we did not order, no . We told the worker and she looked confused even though we showed her the receipt. She went back in while we waited another 10 minutes only for her to return with with our drinks and 1 wrap. Still no other wrap and no straws so we waited to drink the sodas. We waited another 10 minutes for her to come back with the other wrap and straws. At this point we were there for 40 minutes. We ate our food as we drove away, ONLY TO FIND OUT ONE OF THE DRINKS WAS WATER AND NOT SPRITE. Like wtf, how can you f up this bad. Anyway, don't go here. Awful service awful food. read more

Why are all McDonald's so trash in Burnaby ? I went to the drive thru and I just ordered an ice cream cone, THATS IT and it's like a frosty and yellow tinted! That's so gross! AND YOURE SELLING THIS TO A CUSTOMER??? Your ice cream shouldn't be like that. Came here to get some breakfast. Parking here is plentiful - the building is shared with the McDonald's Canada regional head office next door, so this is one of the larger lots out there. I would agree with Kenneth N. that this is definitely one of the most comfortable McD's in town. Is it the most comfortable though? This is a tough one, as many other locations have recently renovated, and that McCafe theme is definitely no longer ghetto-casual. Props to the interior designers. What I like most about this place is that they have bar-style seating that faces outside (with panorama-style windows all along the upper floor. This is a vestige from the previous layout of decades past, but you can't beat a bright interior. The cleanliness, however, is hit and miss. Some days it's fine, and other days you wonder if the cleaning guy skipped his or her shift. As for the breakfast sandwiches I had, they were decent. Mmm.. read more

My review is related to their App. They deducted double points from my account when I purchased an item through the App. Through the App I filled a form and explained what happened. After I forwarded my complaint with my email and phone number, it said someone will contact me. This never happened, I finally gave up and called their 1-800 number. They corrected their error and I should be getting my points restored. This is the 2nd time they've failed to respond after having followed their own procedure. read more

This is a BIG McDonald's. If I"m not mistaken it's also the training facility. it's a two level McD's. Downstairs is where you order and there is limited seating. Upstairs there is PLENTY of seating plus a tv and fireplace. Lots of windows for natural light. There is a play room upstairs for children and a party section as well. I normally go through the drive-thru for a coffee. During rush hour, the wait can be a bit long, but once you get to the ordering window, it goes quite quickly. read more

If you're hanging out for a while, you'll want to come to this McDonald's even if it is out of the way. The restaurant has plenty of seating with nice views, fireplaces, televisions and free wifi. Outside there is also a nice patio if that's your cup of tea. I guess it makes sense that the McDick's head office should have some money invested in it. The only thing that I was shocked and appalled at was the amount of garbage piling up at the garbage can (refer to my photo). Seriously, I have never seen such inattentiveness at any McDonald's that the garbage was overflowing so badly. I was there for a couple hours from 9:30 to 11:30 pm and nobody had come up to clean the tables either. I'm hoping this was a one off. read more

Slightly ashamed that I've eaten here a few days ago, but the Angus Beef Burger with Mushroom and Swiss wasn't as bad as I thought. The patty was surprisingly tasty and this location is usually pretty clean. The head office used to be located here, but looks like they've moved out. This is perhaps one of the nicest McDonald's I've been to. The food was good and about what you would expect from any McDonald's (Not much more you can say about that). But the interiors are gorgeous, especially the upstairs lounge. Leather chairs. Fireplaces. Flat screen TVs. Even an outdoor firepit. Definitely worth checking out! :) read more

This is one of the most unique McDonald's I have visited. The layout of this store awkward. You're forced to navigate several flights of stairs while carrying your food. A full lunch for our family of four, of which two are kids will require you to go back downstairs for a second time simply to get drinks. They placed a condiment station upstairs but no soda station! The layout also makes it hard for those of us with kids. McDonald's and children go hand and hand. I realize headquarters is next door, but what the hell where they thinking???? This is a very nice store regardless of the awkward layout. They do have a VERY FEW tables to eat at downstairs. The mountain views are beautiful and I'm sure the fireplace inside and the pit outside are awesome during colder weather. The one thing I don't understand and to be honest it pisses me off is the fact the entire restaurant only has TWO HIGHCHAIRS!!!!! They have an awesome play area which tells parents "bring your kids here" yet not enough highchairs! The term Cheap Bastard immediately comes to my mind. I had to wait twenty minutes for another family to leave because they had a birthday party going and one of the guest was using the second chair. They spent a lot of cash on this place so why be so damn cheap and refuse to purchase highchairs? I sometimes think it's of a moot point reviewing the quality of a fast food chain - aren't all fast food chains the same? However, I have to say this McDonald's is AMAZING. I'm from California, and this is unlike any McD's I've seen down in the states. A pastry counter, full coffee bar options, and bagels? I ordered an Egg BLT and it was perhaps the same quality of a Starbucks sandwich but at a slightly cheaper price, not to mention the top-notch coffee. I stayed around the Burnaby area for my trip so there weren't too many quick options to grab a bite to eat. If you are in a similar situation, the McDonald's is great! read more

So far never had a problem with his location. Roughly 7 self-order computers screens if you don't feel like waiting in line or doing the 24-Hour drive through. I usually go for the entree salads, breakfast sandwiches or the Seriously Chicken sandwich with an extra grilled chicken for $2. I always try and increase the meat to bun ration and this time I ordered a Sausage N Egg McMuffin with an extra patty for $0.89. I'll give this a 3/5. Next time I'll try with just extra egg for $1.19. Highly recommend the McWrap with Sausage and Hash Brown or the Seriously Chicken Sandwiches with and extra grilled chicken. read more

Terrible. Took my toddlers over for a some happy times and I ended up with 2 parking tickets for staying for 1 hr 15min. Their parking limit is only for 1 hr. How is 1 hr enough for 2 kids to finish their meal and play a little at their indoor playground? I called their manager Jasmine to file a complaint and she gave me a 1888 number to nowhere. Mcdonald's are supposed to be a happy place (at least for kids) but I ended up paying $120 more. Will never ever go there again. read more

I don't usually eat McDonald's because it's unhealthy even though they taste really yummy. However, they just introduced their new salads and I've decided to try it. So I went to this McDonald's because it's closer to work during my lunch break. The salad was really good! I'm surprised it tasted so fresh and it doesn't taste fake food. The caesar dressing is from Kraft, and the croutons as well. Their salad is a must try! I'm giving this McDonald's a 4/5 because of their good and fast service, AND yummy salad. read more

Dropped by this head office Mcdonalds for a snack after swimming with 2 hungry kids. I left this place so appalled and disgusted I had to write this review....stay away from this place if you don't have to go inside. Not all Mcdonalds are created equal and this is one is the is ugly, lazy, idiot cousin in the family. First of all, it took 25 mins for my order, wasn't the kiosk thingy supposed to provide efficiencies and speed up the ordering food process? Then, on the way to sit upstairs, I had to navigate food splattered all over the steps and the floor, it felt like I walked thru a Walking Dead episode. And of course none of the tables were wiped and when I went to the drinks station, there were burger wrappers and a sea of ketchup overflowing the garbage dump. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, they gave me the wrong burger and the ones I received looked liked they were squished by a car wrecking yard....how fkn useless are these guys? Then I figured out why this Mcdonalds was so bottom of the barrel...it's the staff, ya can tell they had a half-assed attitude and worked there just long enough to get their PR status. Presented Breakfast coupon for $7.98 + taxes Get home and reconcile bill and I was charged $8.18 + taxes This has happened numerous times and from my point of view not forgiving at all. If they rip every one off and multiply by billions, the bottom line would certainly reward that management handsomely. Went back a few days late, obviously I need to get hit on the head to learn my lesson. Ordered a bunch of stuff including a 1/4 pounder with cheese. Took one bite and the center was RAW.....in this day and age? In my opinion this is the worst McDonalds in the entire chain. Wow, I just came back from McDonald's headquarters at Still Creek in Burnaby at 2am. The drive thru took almost half an hour. Upon receiving my food, my Quarter Pounder BLT was made sloppy and WITHOUT a burger patty. The bacon even looks uncooked. I did not want to eat this. This is unacceptable, and I expect better than this. I frequent this McDonald's often and I have not had other issues prior, but I am very dissatisfied with this situation. This McDonald's rocks! Customer service is great, and their food is perfect. I noticed that if their french fries were not "good" enough, they'll recook it or do something to perfect it! It's crazy! Interior of the upstairs and downstairs seating areas are quite up-scale for a fast food restaurant. I love their upstairs lounge. Comfy seats and funky mirrors. If you drop by, watch out for cars. I work just down the street from this McDonald's. I worked at a "Rotten Ronnie's" in Ontario as a teenager (still to this day one of the most fun jobs I ever had). This McDonald's is a treat to visit. The upper level eating area is extravagant almost to the point of being obscene. I feel dirty eating McNuggets there. The staff is fantastic; they clearly make a point of pushing customer service to the employees... I have to imagine being in the same building as the national HQ plays a major influence on this. That being said, what's keeping this from a fifth star? Consistency. I've had my order messed up far too often going through the drive-thru for them to earn that fifth star... from one person getting my order completely wrong (I don't know how you mix up "1 Big Mac and a McNugget Happy Meal" with "2 6-packs and a Cheeseburger Happy Meal") to clearly asking for "coffee only cream" and getting enough sugar to make the average double-double drinker stop in their tracks... I'm guesstimating that they're getting my order wrong 20-25% of the time. Maybe my truck was too loud going through the drive-thru and they have troubles hearing me? I went into the drive thru and ordered 2 burger meals and a 6 piece nugget with a sweet and sour sauce. Upon parking my vehicle to begin eating, I discovered that my 6 piece nuggets was actually a 5 piece nuggets. I checked the entire bag to see if a nugget may have fell out but that was not the case. I go back to the drive thru, and tell the girl that I only got 5 pieces. The girl chuckled and took the box, and then came back and gave it back to me with a 6th piece, with no apology. After parking the second time, I find out that they also forgot to give me my sweet and sour sauce. I didn't bother to go back as it was late and a line up occurred. This location is one of the worsts in terms of grab and go. It takes so long for them to get you your food. If you order a beverage, that's quick. Aside from that, expect to stay many minutes. This location give priority to drive thrus. Knowing this, I always rattle their chain a bit when I order fries and tell them the fries are not topped up. They then have to go back and give me more fries. As far as trends go, it's not surprising McDonald's has gotten into the "kale" craze. Even diehard kale fans are saying these trends are becoming ridiculous as we have seen some people will jump on anything if it 's trendy. Surprised though McDonald's isn't promoting gluten free. That's been trendy longer than kale, even though kale was initially trendy back in the early 70s. read more
