I guess the service and food quality has changed significantly over the years (positive way) based on the previous reviews. I order at a minimum atleast once a week from this location, mainly via Uber Eats and ever so often through the drive through. I've gone inside several times just to order and go. The food is always great, the burgers are always done perfectly with no soggy buns or anything missing. The large fries are always large fries (iykyk) my favorite thing to get is the caramel frappe. The food is always packaged with care. The only thing that irritates me is that they do not include a straw with your drinks when you order via Uber Eats, they will only include it if you remember to add a straw for the amount of a penny ... but if you in person they add it in the bag or you can literally just take as many as u want. The drive through is fast and efficient even when packed which is rare for the drive through side. sometimes they don't hear you properly so you have to make sure to double check the screen to make sure they added all your items in the order. The main reason for the 3 stars is because this isn't a place I would feel safe sitting in to eat and definitely not come with my kids to sit down. There's almost always questionable "teenagers"involved in questionable things with loud music right outside the McDonald's. And more questionable people inside. Before 230 it isn't chaotic and you probably could sit down to eat but after and during that time it's crowded. Around 5:30 it gets PACKED. I prefer and will be sticking by to Uber Eats or the drive thru, my food is always prepared fast and correctly..and takes no time to get to me. TIP: I recommend you download the McDonald's app to collect rewards (free food) the points accumulate fast. You also can request pick up, delivery, table service meaning they bring your order to your table by requesting it via the app. You can switch the location depending on where you're at or the app will find a McDonald's near you. read more

Everything you could possibly imagine being wrong with this place isn't your imagination. No one in the drive thru. You pull up, wait, honk, wait some more, get out and walk to window as to not lose spot, and no one is there. The place was pretty empty so you park and walk in. There's only 2 people on line. This should be fast and easy. Wait, but there was no one at the drive through. So why should this be easy? New nuggets were nasty. Fries hard and stale. No Sprite sign on soda machine but there wasn't any ice, Diet Coke or Sprite. Asked the manager or shift supervisor if the ice and soda were being replenished and she had the only attitude. Short woman, glasses, hair net and only one wearing light blue shirt. She said the counter person could've given me ice if I asked. And how does that resolve the soda issue? Place was absolutely filthy. And the dog. Yes, the patron with a dog that was not told anything. I love dogs but I don't bring my 2 Pit Bulls inside of a restaurant. Most McDonald's are much better than this. If you're not going to get McDonald's food that taste like McDonald's, you might as well go to one of the half dozen chicken spots, diners or other franchises all well within walking distance from here. The worse McDonald's there is in the Kingsbridge area probably the worse In the Bronx. They hire very immature workers, they can't get an order correctly because they're to busy playing area or talking way to much and to top it off they don't even speak English. I waited 25 minutes for them to fix (add cheese) on 2 McDoubles and fresh fries. Manager comes out and hands me a bag with 2 McDouble with Mac sauce and no small fries. Why do I select what drink I want on the new electronic ordering kiosks and yet when they bring me my order the cups are empty? What was the point of choosing what drink I want? I have pals who live around the corner, and when I stay for a long weekend, this is a quick bkfst spot, especially when: 1. Someone's gotta go to work and is running late. 2. We ate dinner too late last night and need something smallish w/some protein. 3. No brainpower to make our own oatmeal or eggs. Or some/all of the above. I always get the same thing, bacon/egg/cheese biscuit, and yesterday I wanted a hot choc. I wasn't the one doing the ordering, so imagine my surprise when my friend came back with a medium, same size as her coffee. It looked huge, and it tasted lousy. "Stir it up. The chocolate must be on the bottom." So I stirred it with a straw, because I didn't see any stirrers. Nothing doing in the flavor dept. "Don't sulk. I'll take it back." "Get a small one." I opened the lid on the small one and found a great shot of whipped cream and a drizzle of choc sauce--and the whole thing was good! This food encounter was now elevated to really good, and between that and my biscuit, I had enough sweet and savory to brave the subzero-windchill trip home. Say what you want about this chain--and quality of service and employees varies widely--but I was impressed that someone made sure a customer came away pleased and went the extra step to make sure that customer comes back. read more
