The outside is infested with homeless people standing around the parking lot. I witnessed a homeless man go up to a car that was driving In to the drive thru and ask for change and the homeless man spit in the drivers face!!!! The management really needs to figure out a way to get these people out of the area because he is going to loose out of business to people not feeling comfortable nor safe in an area where homeless are. Came here as a stop for our road trip and it was the best experience. We had to order our food on the kiosk instead of in person which was ok but after we ordered they have a modernized indoor playground which was awesome on a super hot day to get some energy out. Outrageous prices! The staff was friendly and fairly efficient, so it wasn't their fault. And yes, CA is expensive--but not "$3.01 expensive" for a large drink!! I was visiting from another state, where I am used to grumbling about $1.79 for an identical drink. Was a Hash Brown "3.59?" (I got them for free on the app so I have forgotten the actual price - sorry.) And before anyone comments, yes, it is a soft drink. AND I have nothing against supporting a "living wage"...NOTHING! But when the operators of these franchises complain about higher labor costs requiring them to raise prices, I think twice. WHY? A McD's in a good location can gross a Million $$$$ or more per year. We drove through as I would guess 95% of people do. Ordered 3 cheese burgers, a double cheese burger, McChicken, small coffee, coke and a frappe. No fries. No meals. It was almost $40 dollars. Talk about highway robbery. That and the usual cold burgers and not made to order crap. Okay, Blythe, California.. in the middle of no where, on the way to Arizona, off of fwy i-10. There wasnt much restaurant to pick from and we went with our friend McDonald. The food was pretty much spot on for a well known fast food. The best was the fries and the worst was the iced vanilla coffee, it was definitely watered down. The bic mac was okay, the chicken nuggets are crispy. And the happy meal made my toddler happy. So overall it was a good experience. We ordered and sat in the restaurant. Over the years, I've noticed McDonald's staff often lack proper communication with their customers. My husband and I both have experience working in fast food, and we're baffled at how often orders get mixed up or items are missing, and sometimes the attitude at the front counter or drive-thru window makes the experience frustrating. We're not the type to say "don't work here if you don't like your job," but we truly hope this company invests in correcting these issues and training staff to provide better service. Tonight (8/28/25, 2-10 PM shift), we had two separate issues. First, my husband was ignored by an employee who saw him but looked away instead of helping. That kind of ignorance from employees shows a lack of care for customers and reflects poorly on the restaurant as a whole. We understand how busy this industry gets, but even a quick acknowledgment makes a difference. Thankfully, the manager on shift stepped in and assisted him right away. Second, when I went up myself, I had such a positive interaction with that same manager. She was multitasking -- helping both drive-thru and front counter, while also bringing food to tables -- yet she still took the time to listen, was patient, and handled everything quickly with zero attitude. She came across so positive, and my husband even said how nice she was. Her enthusiasm and professionalism really stood out and made a big difference in our experience. I hope McDonald's takes note of employees like her, because she's exactly the type of worker who represents the company in the best way possible. I also hope she sees this, because she deserves to know how much her hard work and kindness were appreciated. She is the only reason I give this restaurant a 4. read more

OMG... by first glance with my quality assurance eyes, I can tell the fish sandwich did not look normal LOL. I still ate it as I was hungry and I didn't want to waste food. What I should have done was taken it back and have them make me a new one, but I didn't. Anyway, yeah, the fish filet patty was tough, cheese wasn't melted, and bread was kind of burnt. Don't know how they could get this sandwich wrong. Maybe because I asked for no tartar sauce and it threw them off LOL... who knows. It was the WORST Filet O Fish I have ever eaten in my life and I've eaten quite a few of them so far in my current lifetime. As for the water, the cup was big and water was nice and cold which I liked, but the water taste was horrible... WORST tap water I have ever drank. Yeah, just not the best take-out experience... probably the worst McDonald's experience ever. Glad I survived the eating ordeal and I am still here LOL.
