Ordering took forever and we received no receipt or number. Orders were called by number. Order was missing a 1/3rd of the items. The fries were cold and oily. Out of lemonade, sprite diet coke, and one other drink I can't remember. Lobby clearly bans parties under 21 without an adult after 2pm but this is not enforced and subsequently there are a ton of loitering teenagers in the restaurant. Store is dirty. Staff is apathetic. Almost got a refund but the food finally came out and we got involved in checking the order etc. It was a very disappointing experience. read more

Fries are always hot. Order is always missing something. One time I ordered a Fish Filet and got 1/2 a slice of cheese. Another time I ordered a $5 Fan deal and the cheeseburger had no cheese or catsup or mustard, only onions. In the same order, there were no 4 pieces of chicken nuggets, but Mc sauce in the Botton of the box. Very long wait time. No sense on how to take drive through orders so one line can be very long, adding to the wait time. Not very clean. Teens in the dining room rude and disrespectful. read more

Prepared to spend anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes in line at the drive-through. I'm not kidding. The line sometimes extends out to the street so the traffic coming down route 30 has to swerve. I've complained to corporate countless times that the wait times at this location are atrocious. You can literally go anywhere else and spend five minutes in line and be in and out. this is by far not my favorite mcdonalds - long waits , food is usually old tasting or half assed . this morning I came through reluctantly with a little extra time before work , there was ONE girl there running the whole place . she was sweet and kind she was fast and given that she was alone she did a FANtastic job . she deserves a raise . my steak egg and cheese bagel tasted just right and she was faster / better than when half a crew is working. so whoever is on shift 6:30 am on 6/2/23 kudos! I could tell the burgers hadn't seen the grill for an hour at least. we didn't complain to the employees because if they served us this they wouldn't care anyway. We saw 5 employees and it wasn't busy, if it would have been our meal probably would have been fresh. Never again. read more

While the Ticonderoga McD's was completely open, clean and every worker very pleasant, the Amsterdam McD's was open for take out only, the girl at the counter was openly complaining thaT it should be closed and they shouldn't have to be there. this place sucks! it seems to be ran by teenagers, and it looks like there's shady activity going on in the parking lot. A supervisor actually turned UP the ambiance music while customers were dining so he could whistle along to it-meanwhile we had to raise our voices just to speak to one another across the tiny table. While trying to order a line cook came from the back to make a lewd comment about a customer in line (to another worker). Did I mention how long it took for us to get noticed? The employee's were too busy gossiping amongst themselves to notice (or care) about the customers forming a line. And yes-they messed our order up! Go here often since our 4 year old loves his happy meals. The customer service has always been great. All the workers have always been so friendly. It's nice that you still can get friendly service which seems to be hard to find these days. The worst experience in the 10 years I've been living in Amsterdam at this McDonald's was this past Wednesday on the 4th of July. Took our kids to get an ice cream and unfortunately had an intoxicated woman driving an suv behind us and wasn't close enough to the order screen. So as impatient and intoxicated as she was began laying on her horn and screaming profanities at us thinking we needed to move closer to the car in front of us instead of waiting like everyone else. Her man left the car to walk to fast track because of how embarrassed he was and all she ordered was 2 $1 drinks. In the end I had to explain to my scared 4 year old that some people in this world are just impatient and/or sick. Always the customers with an issue here and never had bad service. read more
