Just moved here and our first night we visited this McDonald's. The cashier was very welcoming and showed us the computer kiosk and how to operate it. This McDonald's needs to up their game. Every time we come in here, there are multiple dead flies in the window sills. They wouldn't take ten seconds to wipe out, but no one cares to do it. The $5 meal is a good deal if they could bring it all out hot. The McNuggets are pretty gross at room temperature. Filthy. The bathrooms, the store itself was so nasty. There were literally hundreds of flies, alive and dead everywhere. The large window sills were covered with flies. The man responsible for cleaning the restrooms was busy fixing his hair in front of the mirror blocking the sink. My family and I ate at this Mcdonalds on 9/23/23 at 6:00pm. The place was filthy, tables were not clean, the seats were not clean and there was trash everywhere. My kids love playing at the McDonald's play area but it was too dirty to allow them to do so. There was trash in the play area, food and even clothes from another kid lying around. The slide was brown from filth as was many of the other play items. If the eat in area looks like this I hate to think what the kitchen looks like. I live in this town and it saddens me but I will have to find another place to take my family to eat. So glad we are getting more options in Altus because this will not be one of them anymore. read more

I returned for the first time since they made two employees with Covid-19 work in the summer. I was excited about the return of the McRib sandwich. But again I am going to boycott them. The sandwich was very dry and didn't have any pickles at all. I suggest all people boycott them until the food improves. read more

Sometimes when I get the food it's right... a lot of times it's not. There are maybe 3 people that give good customer service like this one girl Tangi. The managers aren't worth anything. They pulled me over to the side I went in and the younger white female manager was like oh I was trying to figure out where we pulled you over and I was the only one pulled over. On top of that they didn't even have everything in the bag. I went one night and the middle aged Mexican female manager wasn't helping her staff at all. Instead she was on her phone in plain view the whole time texting in the office instead of helping on a busy night. This is how I got my food! read more

Restaurant is very clean and updated on the inside. I really like the indoor play area. I've been to some that are outdated and have really big kids and mean kids running rampant but this one is great. I am happy this town raises their kids right! My son always plays well with others here and I don't find it difficult to let him play for an hour. I usually can't stand it for more than 30 minutes. The chicken nuggets could be better and the drive thru gets a little crazy but staff is friendly so I recommend dining in. read more

This is a terrible McDonalds. They continue to fail at the simplest task of assembling a happy meal. Then I have to walk in and let them know they forgot my 4 piece chicken nugget (the main part of the happy meal). My favorite part is when they look at me like I am the Altus 4-piece chicken nugget bandit. I just want a happy meal from time to time for my kid with all the contents. I made the mistake of ordering a quarter pounder with cheese meal one time. Asked for no onions and at that moment I knew what I had done. It was no surprise when I received it and it had extra onions but no ketchup and the cheese was melted in the corner of the box. I now know to stay clear of this place. The Local Burger King hasn't failed me yet on a kids meal. I would recommend going there if you want it right the first time. If you don't mind going through the drive through, then parking and getting your kid out to run inside and get what you paid for the I highly recommend the McDonalds. read more

While the food tastes okay and there kids seem to love the play area, the menu has become increasingly more expensive while it's too competitor of burger King has become cheaper. The phone is almost always busy so you can't call them for information or to let them know if any problems. This makes it frustrating for me as a customer and I'm sure it's frustrating for employees if they have an emergency and need to call in. As a prior fast food manager I believe there is much needed improvement at this location. read more

Its a McDonalds, we're all familiar. If you're looking for Mcdonalds its fast food and its okay. I docked three stars for two reasons, first expect a huge wait in the drive thru, I don't why but every time I would visit this location the line would be backed up and take forever. Mcdonalds is supposed to be know for their speed but this location missed the memo, also I value consistency among fast food restaurants but this location has none. Sometimes my food would be the best it could be, sometimes it would be absolutely terrible, there was no way to tell. Those two things kind of take away the whole benefit of going to Mcdonalds, if I'm going to sacrifice taste and quality I at least want to know what I'm getting and I want it quickly. This location is also much more expensive than the locations in the surrounding towns for some reason. read more

It's a McDonald's, that's about it. My wife and I usually go through the drive through, since they have dual lanes. The staff are usually friendly but a lot of that is based on who's working. This location is definitely busy between 6AM and 10AM. But lunch crowds vary. Weekdays are semi-packed but weekends can be hectic. Here, the earlier you go, the better your service will be; the same applies for dinnertime [supper]. They suaully get the order right on the first carryout after cooking it. Friendly staff i nthe mornings, fair at lunchtime, and usually friendly around dinner. Pretty clean overall, especially their bathrooms. Tall stalls so people won't peek over. [Yes, it's happened to me once at a McDonald's with short stalls]. I say, give it a go here. You're only other option is the McDonald's in Wal-Mart here in Altus. read more

This is the busiest McDonald's I have ever seen! Overall, it is clean and the staff are friendly and quick to serve you. They remodeled this store a few years back and the new store looks great, but I wish they would have kept a separate birthday room so that children could enjoy a private party with their families. We have had a party there before and we kept having random nosey children interrupt our party. The party coordinator McDonald's has is awesome! She takes care of everything and does attempt to ward off the children I mentioned above. The only problem I have ever had at this store is with the specialty coffees. I asked for a carmel frappe and I get a carmel mocha. Or I ask for a carmel mocha and I get a carmel frappe. I have contacted the corporate office several times about the issue and I think they trained the staff on the difference between a mocha and a frappe because I have not had this issue lately. read more
