Curbside took forever. Food was cold. No sauces in the bag. The drink had sat so long the ice melted and diluted my sprite.

I pull up to the first window and the lady is screaming to somebody upfront that this is not her effing job and someone needs to come change her out of this way in front of my autistic daughter and then tells me I hate my job and hands me my change and slams the door. We stopped at Mcdonalds in Algood Tn. after shopping this afternoon. We placed our order, which took a few minutes because as indecisive people we couldn't make up our mind what we wanted. We drove to the window and paid for our food and while we was driving to the pickup window they already had the grandkids happy meals ready. The girl at the window told us to pull ahead because our quarter pounders were not ready yet. After a minute or 2 they brought the rest of our food but forgot the ketchup and bbq sauce so she went in and got us ketchup and bbq sauce. The girl was very pleasant and apologized for the mix up. We took off and I opened my burger box up and took a bite while waiting at the stop sign. At the same time my Wife took a bite of her sandwich and started to make funny noises. I really could not ask her what was wrong because my mouth was full of what was the BEST Quarter Pounder I ever had at Mcdonalds. My Wife had got the double quarter pounder and said it was the best ever. In fact she gave me a bite of hers and I loved it also. I think she was full and wanted to give me a piece of it because I normally could not pry a good sandwich from her. So we stopped by to let the kids play for a little bit. This place was packed. We ordered and we got our food at a reasonable time. We sat on the playground side of the restaurant, it was a little dirty but at no time a lady came and cleaned the tables. A little after, the manager "Dallas" came and checked on us. I did noticed that the staff was working hard. Dallas was running food and checking on customers he was very noticeable. The whole staff was great, but Dallas stood out by the way he worked, u could tell he was the leader. I was very impressed. The kids slide was very steep, kinda scary lol. 10 o'clock Tuesday, December 11. I pull up to the drive-through there's a few cars in front of me it's one of the 2 Lane Dr., Throughs so I pull into the one that's empty I sit there for two or three minutes a young man greets me and he says I'll be with you in just a moment to which I replied fine and I proceed to sit there for another 3 to 5 minutes as I am sitting there patiently waiting another car pulls into the now empty drive through on the other side and young lady comes on and greets them immediately and takes their order immediately this bus straight to me because I've been waiting patiently for my turn in line so I drive off hungry after sitting at the hospital with my mother all day long upset because I was ignored and I realize that this McDonald's is very busy so losing my business will not matter to them but I just want people to know that the service is lacking at this McDonald's I gladly took the $20 that I was gonna spend there and went to the Taco Bell just down the road I hope this helps other people like I said I don't think it's really going to matter to anyone because this McDonald's so busy they will hide their Lack of good customer service in volume funny how being so busy I am making so much money that one customer no longer matters in this world I will never ever ever spend another dime at this particular McDonald's read more

This McD's is so inconsistent that I cannot in good conscience give it a higher rating. You would think that it requires a college education to do this job but I think its just a bunch of lazy kids that care less about their job and poor management for not addressing the issues. Yet again, the Algood McDonald's employees have left out something we ordered and paid for. Today we ordered $23.46 of breakfast items. They did not give us a Big Breakfast. I called to complain and they said to come back anytime, but it is inconvenient now. Poor service. read more

I've never ever had a problem with this McDonald's until today. I pull up to the speaker box to let them know I had an order for DoorDash. Waited there a good 2 minutes before they even said anything to me. Another car pulls up to the other speaker box and they answer them immediately. Made me a little upset but whatever I shrugged it off. Someone finally answered and before I could finish my sentence to let them know I'm from DoorDash someone interrupted and said "hi can I help you" which that got under my skin. So I repeated to them again I'm from door dash picking up an order. They said okay go ahead and pull to the second window thank you. I had to interrupt and ask for an unsweetened tea before pulling up since they didn't give me the chance. Get to the first window and the girl there was trying to tell me I need to pay for the door dash order which was incorrect because the meal had already been paid for. I tried to tell her that and all she said was "well I swiped it as credit and it said declined" so I just said forget it and went ahead and paid for my unsweetened tea. Pull up to the second window got my tea, asked to speak to the manager, and he was confused as well that I was trying to say my order was already paid for and wanted to know as to why she was trying to charge me for someone else's meal. All he had to say was "it was probably just a misunderstanding" which I don't see how cause what other way can I say the door dash order was already paid for?? I'm very disappointed that they have changed from styrofoam large drink cups to plastic. The styrofoam may have a couple drawbacks But overall I feel does better job. For instance there is no comparison When keeping your drink cold is a factor. Also in the car styrofoam Does not sweat and drip all over everything . For some time the lids We're unreliable but last year they modified the cup and that Problem was fixed. For whatever reason you changed the plastic is quite inferior. Keep in mind here in Algood tn. Next door to the McDonalds you can get up to a 52oz. Drink for 69 cents. And there 44oz. Is a styrofoam cup. If it was for politically correct reasons let's be honest plastic causes as much or more damage To the environment but in different ways. If it was for cost you need to To consider customer service which you have a continual Problem with anyway. So let's fix a small thing that can be fixed. read more
