OJ machine has been broken for weeks now and sometimes they have sausage gravy sometimes they don't because another machine is broken. Food can be a bit inconsistent at this location as well. I feel bad for the employees working with broken equipment because they are the ones that face the wrath of annoyed customers when they don't have items available that are on the menu. Avoid this location at all costs. I waited almost a week to post this to see if I was less annoyed than when it happened, but yeah/no... still annoyed. I'll try to keep this brief. Sick kid at home that wanted a 4-pack nugget happy meal and one hamburger ($4.24 total). I was going to pass by this location on my way home from work, so I ordered on the app, and arrived 20 minutes later. Selected drive-thru as the pick-up method upon arrival. Repeated the order ID to the guy on the speaker like the app instructed me to do, he told me to pull up. From there... things took a turn for the ridiculous. A lady (that appeared to be management) yells from the registers up front inside of the restaurant to the girl working in the drive thru window, tell her she's gonna have to come in and it's going to be a while. I heard her loud and clear so I told the window gal that that didn't make much sense... I ordered 20 minutes ago, it's a minuet-sized order, and I have a sick kid waiting on me and I am in a hurry and haven't had this issue at other McDonalds locations using the app. Mind you, I was kind and cool as a cucumber - I've worked retail/at restaurants my fair share before, I get it... I probably even apologized to her for the whole ordeal. The girl walks over to the lady and simply says, she said she's not coming in. Lady walks over and said, oh I thought you were Uber Eats picking up an order. I said, nope... not Uber, just a regular customer - I've already paid for it, I just need the food now. I explained that I was in a hurry/had a sick kid waiting on me/this food and so on. She says oh ok... well, it's still going to be a while, you need to pull up. At that point we were about 10 minutes into this mess. I said you know... it's just 4 nuggets, some fries and a burger, it's not a big order, can I just like have it? Mind you, she never told me what the holdup even was... I still have no clue why they couldn't just give me the food. She said, that's a good question - let me check. A few minutes later, she says ma'am please pull up. I finally caved and said I really have to go, if you can't give me the food please just refund it. Then she randomly says, well I just called the general manager and he said we can't refund it... you'll need to call the McDonalds' app for a refund. So I just left. I had already wasted 15 minutes there going around in circles ... nothing I said would get me any food or money back. I called the McDonalds' app customer service - while on the way to another McDonalds, mind you - I still had a sick kid at home that was only craving McDonalds. I spoke to a nice gal on the other end who was just as baffled as me about this situation. To take the ridiculousness a step further, when I said I just want a refund, she said - oh we don't handle financials/refunds... only this restaurant can refund you. Ugh. I explained to her that I was calling her for a refund, per what the lady at this McDonalds instructed me to do, since her GM said they can't do refunds. So McDonalds' app customer service gal instructs me to dispute the charge with my bank. I even asked if she could just send coupons to me for about the same value so I wouldn't have to dispute it, she apologized and said that's what I'd have to do. Just got off the phone with my bank... such a weird and ridiculous situation. Overall, my experience with ordering ahead on the app has never saved me any time or trouble because you're doomed to have to wait in the drive thru or park and go in and then wait some more... no matter what. In regards to this particular location, not only should you not order through the app from them, but I'd highly recommend that you just don't ever go there for anything... ever. I've been to this location several times. At least 50% of the time the order is wrong and the french fries are cold I don't recommend.

Please speak up and communicate with your customers and not just stare at them in silence while they guess what you're trying to say.

I have gone to this McDonald's on Cowan Road in Acworth, GA for a long time and it has never been the greatest, but now it is at an all time low. This store is dirty. In the area where you get your drink, it is always cluttered, the ketchup dispenser is caked with ketchup (not good for the appetite) and there is spilled drinks everywhere. No cleaning in this area. The last time I was there, a lady went to the restroom and came right back out. She said no way. I understand this store was bought by individuals. They need to come in and see exactly what is going on. Also, he one thing you hear while you are there is how slow this store is. These owners need to take charge. read more

This is a newer McDonald's and it looks really nice on the inside and the outside. Their food (of course) is the same as any other McDonald's but this particular location has a really nice "feel" to it, mainly because it's new and they did a nice job on the design of it in my opinion. I've been through their drive-thru quite a few times for coffee and they always get you in and out and on your way pretty quickly. read more

Worst fast food experience of my life! Wish I could give 0 stars! I arrived in the drive thru around 7:50am, paid at 7:54 received my food at 7:55 was asked to pull up as I was waiting on drinks. However I did not expect to receive my 2 drinks at 8:18 am?! Additionally, the car behind me also waiting on food and a frappe was served their food and drinks 5min before me! My food was cold when arriving home because I waited so long on the drinks! I was never made aware of why or how long I would end up waiting, my food was also incorrect. I ordered a sausage biscuit but was given a burrito "yuck" "I do not eat these" The manager did not do anything at all, except say, "this is ridiculous and I cussed out an employee"......I feel bad for the employee and I would not have wanted that for anyone, No One needs to be cussed at!!! I would have preferred my food remade so that it was hot, an explanation and sincere apology. This is the third time I have visited this McDonalds and unfortunately each time there is an issue! One of the managers Denise actually was very awesome with a prior issue and the only reason I returned. At this point I have no intentions of ever going back to this location! Where to begin with this McDonald's. Not a polite staff whatsoever except for one manager. The food is not fast (nor the right food half the time) but what really is terrible is the fact that it doesn't matter what time of day or night you go you can't get a milkshake! That's just ridiculous they'll advertise that they have the new shamrock shake and don't have them yet? And when I asked to get a chocolate shake their machine is down. At 5 I clock in the evening (prime dinner time) I've tried to give them chance after chance because they are the closest one to use but I will be driving out of my way. I went through the drive through and ordered a meal for myself as well as a kids meal. The cashier did not say a single word to me just took the debit card and gave it back. Then the girl at the window forgot to give me my kids meal and kids drink. So I called the store asking for a refund, the person I spoke to asked a lot of questions on the meal (they didnt believe that the mistake was made), she ended up arguing of the meals existence and assumed I didnt keep the receipt and could not prove I ordered the kids meal, when I told her I did keep the receipt I then asked if they could refund my card and they said I would have to drive all the way back to get a refund on their mistake. I told them that we will not be coming back (my kid was hungry so we fed her at home instead). They said that the only way I can get any sort of refund is if I came back into the store. I do not have time to be spending driving back to fix a mistake on their part so I asked what they will do to pay me for lost time and gas to drive back, they called over a different manager and they said we can give you a cookie. While McDonalds restaurants/food may have its negatives, the one thing they are usually good at is quality control. I have visited this McDonalds numerous times in the past 11 years that I have lived in the area. Last night however, will be my last visit. We went through the drive through around 5pm to place our order. After ordering meals, we were informed that the only drinks they had were sweet tea and water. I didn't want either so asked if they had a reduced price for the meal with no drink. The teen at the window just kept repeating, we only have sweet tea and water. Finally I just gave up and informed him we didn't want either. After paying at the first window, drove to the pick up window to get our food and was handed 3 bottles of water. The young man asked me to pull up to the line and they would bring out our food. We did so and waited around 10 minutes until another young man brought out our food. Unfortunately, his uniform was disheveled and he had the collar of his shirt in his teeth/mouth. Before leaving, we realized that we didn't have all our order so I went into the restaurant to rectify. It was nearly empty and the young dread locked Manager seemed to be conducting on the job training. After a few minutes of questioning, they did provide us the additional food we ordered and we left for Home. Overall, the fries were way over cooked and stale. The sandwich buns were also stale and hard. Even the McNuggets tasted like they were not fresh. Not sure if this is a new management/staff issue but have never had service/food issues before at this location. Since there is virtually a Mcdonalds on every corner these days, won't be returning. read more

Wow, this place is horrible. Bathrooms unusable because of being so dirty with clogged toilets. Long lines because it takes food so long to come out. Registers positioned where you can't see the menu and one register only taking credit card. Simply awful. How this place is allowed to hold on to their franchise is a mystery. read more

Horrible management. Asked two time for the hand wipes in kids play area to be restocked. Was never addressed. No soap in the ladies room. Had to clean our table before we could sit down. Dining room is not monitored or cleaned on a regular basis. I would give no stars if it was possible. read more

The washrooms were filthy. The food was the worst I have ever had at a McDonalds. My burger was raw and the fries were hard.

I went through the drive thru and ordered on the McDonald's app and when we got there they didn't have any of the food ready and nobody was even responding at the drive thru monitor for 10 minutes and once we pulled up to the window we had to wait another 15 minutes to get our food. This is the worst McDonald's around, there is only kids working there that don't care. My food is always just thrown into the bag never organized neatly. The fries are never filled like they are suppose to be. I went there today when I wrote this review and saw a kid take the fries they got wrong on my order and put them back into the fry station. If I am not mistaken the Wendy's I work at would have been shut down for that because it's a health code violation. read more

I don't go to McDonalds often but I do know that most McDonalds locations that do twice and three times their business are much faster and speed you along. One star because I can not give them ZERO which is what they deserve. Consistently incompetent and slow. Every time we visit, which is now extremely rare, they are rude, slow, unclean and sloppy. They do not honor the posted business hours on the doors. They closed their lobby a full two hours before their posted closing time without explanation with the exception of a girl, who appeared to be a customer, yelling at people thru the locked doors. When I asked to speak to a manager I was ignored. When I called to speak with a manager I was once again ignored and my call went unanswered several times. I will be pursuing this further with the franchisee/owner of this location. Closing early on a Friday night with a high school football game 3 miles away is a great way to lose customers to their competition directly across the street. Do not visit this location, do not give them your time as they will not give you theirs. read more

I don't think this McDonald's can rightfully be classified as "fast" food - this is the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to; cars will frequently be sitting in the "wait" zone as they're behind on orders. Food is not always hot or fresh. The other Acworth location on Cobb Pkwy is much better. read more

I'd really appreciate it if they can hire people who understand the concept of simple MATH!! Over and over again, I leave with something missing. I went there last night and simply added "2" orders of oatmeal cookies to my order..OK! An order consist of 2 cookies...Soooooooo then 2 orders is how many now?!!! Got home, had to call the mngr who was very apologetic and said she would take care of it on the next visit..Ok, came back the next morning, ordered and added 1 order of chocolate chip cookies and asked for the 2 orders of oatmeal cookies due to me from last night...Well, didn't go so good...I got my bag with 1 order of cookies,they forgot the cheese on the sandwich,and said that I ordered it that way, NOT...and I'm pretty sure if I pay for 2 drinks, I shouldn't have to drive off with just 1 !!! Ohhh my God!!! I stop by this place and got the 3 dollar special Bacon egg and cheese and a orange juice the orange juice was so watered down that it had a bitter taste the biscuit was crunchy instead of soft and fluffy but the worst thing was paying nearly two dollars for a glass of orange water and the worst thing is is that I had to drink the orange water because they're biscuit was so dry and crunchy it was almost as if it was a prank pulled on me if you know what I'm saying I usually love going to this restaurant I even worked there when I was a teenager but that place is completely gone to hell and if this was a mistake and some stupid manager let the new guy mix the orange juice please have a professional person make the orange juice due to the fact that you're charge nearly 2 dollars for it that you can go get it at a convenient store for a dollar fifty nine. in closing I would not recommend this McDonalds at all at any time to anyone at this particular point in time until they had a sign out new management read more

i came here in a real time of need. it was 12:50 a.m. and i was parched, i mean if i didn't get a dr. pepper in me quickly who knows what would've happened. my friend & i went to our nearest mcdonald's (not checking the hours because i had truly never been to a mcdonald's that wasn't open 24/7.) upon arrival all of the outdoor lights were on but after sitting in the drive thru for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement we decided to search for a new mcdonald's to go to. here's the crazy part, the 3 mcdonald's nearest to us CLOSED AT MIDNIGHT. we then went to the first 24 hr mcdanks we could find and the line was out the wazoo, let me tell you, it was wrapped around the building. we made our next decision quite carefully and arrived at this mcdonald's. i'm not being dramatic when i tell you this might be the best decision i've made in months. the man who took our order was straight chillin, living his best life and had a sweet set up at the cash register. he thanked us for our business, HE thanked US, nothing has ever made me feel more special. this mcdonald's was really here for us and made us feel like family. the dr. peppers really hit the spot too. 10/10 of course would recommend this mcdanks after 12 a.m. read more
