I noticed that fast-food places don't get reviewed as frequently as traditional restaurants do but I feel it's important that active Yelp contributors create reviews periodically of the local fast-food establishments that they frequent because in my opinion people mostly only post reviews of fast-food locations when they have bad experiences. So without further ado here is my review of this McDonald's. I work in the area of this McDonald's and I've been going here a couple times a month for about a year now. In my opinion this is a well managed McDonald's. I've been inside when the doors have just been opened in the A.M. and the interior from the restroom, dining area, and counter have been very clean. I have used the drive-thru mostly and have never had a long wait even when they were busy. I have ordered in person and I have ordered ahead using the app. I always order my burgers with no salt and if not included with the type of burger I'm ordering I asked for extra lettuce. They have never NOT gotten my order correct and most importantly THIS McDonald's has never served me a burger which didn't have MELTED cheese nor has any time been cold. The employees are courteous but not what I consider friendly ( Chick-fil-A has set that bar too high). I credit the management for hiring quality employees and holding those employees accountable for doing their jobs correctly and I applaud the employees for having good work ethic and caring about the job they applied to do. read more

BEWARE: On the evening of January 21, 2026, my daughter and a friend stopped in to make a to-go purchase at the counter. She inadvertently left her cell phone on the counter. When she realized, we immediately telephoned and were told by an employee that they had the phone. My daughter went back to get the phone that night and noticed that it was severely damaged. One or more of the employees must have been very bored and thought it would be okay to damage someone's personal property by taking a sharp object and smashing the edges of the phone in numerous areas as if trying to remove the glass. The next morning, I telephoned the store and spoke with the manager. I requested that they please review the video tapes since the phone was left near the register hoping that the cameras would have captured which employee(s) purposedly damaged the phone and the object they used to do it. She said that she was unable to access the tapes, but the General Manager could and she would have him contact me as soon as he arrived. The GM never contacted me despite another telephone call later that day. That evening my daughter went to the police department and filed a report of the damage. To date, despite numerous telephone calls and requests from myself and the police department, the General Manager continues to ignore all requests. When you telephone, the staff will not even provide the General Managers name. PLEASE, IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY AND HEALTH, DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. If their employees are so bored and have zero respect for personal property, imagine what they are capable of doing to the food they prepare. read more

Missing half of our order and the strung out people who work the registers don't even know where they are at. They also give paper straws covered in PFAS forever chemicals they are both unhealthy and unsafe the franchise over who is poisoning the local population with his shit cancer straw business should be charged for knowingly poisoning people and you idiots who use them are just as bad. read more

This is by far the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. It's the closest to me unfortunately, so I've been quite a few times thinking it was a fluke, but no matter what day or time it's just frustratingly slow. If you pull up to the drive thru and there are more than 2-3 cars just leave- you can drive to a different one and get your food faster than you will get through that drive thru line. I really don't understand why it is consistently so slow moving. The food is fine and the employees are fine but it isn't worth the wait. read more

We came twice Saturday night at like 2 am but the lines were insane for the drive thru I was dying Went back to the hotel and was still craving it hours later. I can't believe that I am rating a McDonald's location with 4 stars, but this location really deserves it. They have a very convenient location on the way into and out of Atlantic City. When you are going there, and you don't want to pay $5 for a coffee inside the casino, I can't tell you how many times I have just stopped here. It's also the last chance for a cheap, quick satisfying meal before you get into A.C. Often I know I will be eating a bigger meal later in A.C., and this McDonald's is great to tie me over. They are also open late, so when I am coming out of A.C., I often stop here, not to mention breakfast the next day. The inside decor has been remodeled and is modern. They have a convenient drive-through. The employees work hard and are nice. read more

This is by far the worst Mc Donalds !! There is a manager Hoda she is terrible to customers rude and yells. I have gone 3 different times and tried to use my app code each time she says I didn't give it to her and I showed her the points came off. She screamed at me, I usually just walk out ! Well today I decided to yell back at her!!! And she walked away and a nice gentleman came over to see that she was wrong. All the customers heard me give her the code also they told her to! Then you have 2 relatives who bring the kids in running around the kitchen and grabbing food and Handfuls of happy meal toys in their bathing suit! This was the worst meal!! I ordered a cheeseburger, small fries and small drink. Not complicated right? Guess it was quite a challenge! Chesseburger was ice cold, the cheese wasn't melted, just a slab of cheese on a semi-stale roll! French fries were just as bad!! Didn't even deserve 1 star! Actually updating review to two stars from one since one is overly harsh. The only reason I'm giving McDonalds in Absecon, NJ a two stars is to get the management's attention. I'll update it later to a higher level if they can get their act together since I'm usually a huge fan of theirs. Stopped in today for a couple of quick fish sandwiches (my favorite) to go since we were headed out and didn't have time to stop for a longer lunch. Right to the point: the sandwiches were so below par I would have returned them if I had eaten them in the restaurant. Fish was at the best, warm. Absolutely no crunch factor that I'm looking forward to in a Filet of Fish sandwich. Bun was not soft and chewy like normal, almost a day old feel. Was telling some friends and they suggested I special order sandwiches with tartar sauce on the side so they have to be fresh. Maybe that's the answer. It was about noon on Sunday, Mar 4 so they should have been fresh. Please straighten this out so I can change my rating back up to where it belongs. read more

I was in the drive thru around 8:30pm tonight. I paid for my food and pulled up behind the person in front of me. Apparently the customer in front of me was having a problem with their order and instead of asking the customer to park while they sorted everything out I waited behind this customer for (and I kid you not) 20 minutes until they got the customer's order correct. if I didn't pay for my food already I would have pulled off and went somewhere else to get food. I asked the employee if my food had been sitting there packaged all of this time while they got the other customer's food correct and she replied " It was just made but it has been sitting there can you park while we get you fresh food".
