Victor not only offered to come over and jumpstart my car, but even offered to check my alternator just to make sure everything was ok before driving an hour back home. It turns out my alternator was completely shot! Victor got a new alternator and installed it within less than an hour for a VERY reasonable price and a 2 yr warranty. They have maintained it mechanically better and more economically than Hunter's ever did. At the 1st 100K service point, the dealer wanted over $1000 to perform the required service. At the 100K mile point, the water pump also began to leak, Dale's the 100K service by the book and did it right for $600 including replacing the water pump and changing the transfer cases' odd blue oil. Note, I have 360K miles on this vehicle, and so far, has needed a new water pump at each 100K mile interval, it is on its 3rd pump, but, it is amazingly easy to change out, 2 hour job at most.

I am always charged the higher amount and when I try to find out why, all he can do is walk off and try to find someone to answer questions. And then they come in and speak to me like I'm an idiot. I have a feeling they have dishonest practices- esp upselling women. This time I brought my husband who didn't fall for their false explanations. He agreed- they are dishonest and rude. Said I'd never go back and needed a tire plugged. After hours of waiting they told me I needed 3 new tires so they wouldn't plug the one that had a hole...I bought these tires less than 6 months ago. I did not need new tires. I will not under any circumstance ever take a vehicle to Pierce's again. These guys are the reason so many auto repair shops get a bad name...beware before you go that you will be up-sold on everything!
