Staff were friendly and service was quick. Inside is a sports pub type. Great for watching games. I got the Classic impossible burger with fries and it comes with a pickle. I also got reaper sauce in the side, which gives it the perfect amount of kick. Great value and very filling. read more

Very good food and a great place to eat for happy hour. The happy hour food deals are really good and include some good choices that mean you can probably make a meal out of just them if you want. The drinks were really good as well. It was a little loud inside even by sports bar standards as we went at a time where it was not fully packed and the volume didn't need to be up quite so high. Regardless we enjoyed watching some World Cup soccer while getting good drinks and food. Our service wasn't the best as occasionally we couldn't find our server but generally it was friendly and everything went well. read more

I was in Midtown for the weekend and ended up eating four meals here: brunch (x2), lunch and dinner. The food was excellent (and I am a foodie)!! I recommend the Avocado Toast, Tavern Salad, and Chopped Salad (with salmon). Drinks were great. Service was excellent. I'll be back the next time I am in ATL! read more

Absolutely love this spot. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. Kat was my waitress and she was awesome. She gave me a bunch of recommendations that were incredible (buffalo panini especially). She was nice, provided quick service, and friendly. Would highly recommend this spot. read more

Geeeze.... Stopped twice. Service definitely didn't disappoint. Sunday during the Masters and it was on every TV. I asked to have a TV changed to the NASCAR race. Absolutely not a problem. Got hooked right up. I was so amazed. Food was great . Nice breeze through the place. Great crowd. Wait staff was fantastic. Definitely worth the stop. Thank you read more

I desperately wanted some good ol' "bar food" the other night. You know- buffalo wings, fries, some yummy salad with the good blue cheese on top. All of it lol! My husband and I decided to walk to McCray's, a place we always pass by when going to Whole Foods. What I expected to be a basic, run-of-the mill pub, was a cute, modern bar/restaurant with a lovely farmhouse-like interior. It was a Sunday evening, and not very crowded. There was still a decent number of people present for weekly BINGO. Our server was very lovely and ensured we enjoyed our first visit. I ordered exactly what I was craving- wings (half lemon pepper/half Thai chili) and a side salad with blue cheese dressing. Hubby ordered the fish and chips meal. My wings were cooked perfectly! The lemon pepper ones were a little salty for my taste, but still good. The fish and chips were good overall, but the fish lacked a bit of flavor in my opinion. My husband enjoyed it though. Now, as I mentioned before, it was Sunday which means it was BINGO night! This particular night, you were playing for up to $50 off of your tab (5 rounds, $10 win each round) We almost didn't play, but the rainy weather had other plans lol. I'm so glad we stayed! We not only had a blast, but we actually won twice! That means $20 off our tab! You really can't beat that. Needless to say, I'm happy we checked out McCray'a and I look forward to visiting again soon! read more

This was my lunch spot for a hot minute until I discovered an aphid insect in my salad. The manager was too busy to address but they comped the salad. It happens at slog of restaurants so it's not a surprise for me. I knew something was wrong with the salad bc the tomato and banana pepper looked old. Please ensure the salad and vegetables are not expired and rotten before you serve customers. Kitchen staff will serve you anything just to get to the next order. Do better! read more

Went for brunch and the experience was okay. They were able to accommodate our large party last minute, which was a plus. However, the service was quite slow. We knew brunch would be ending soon so we quickly figured out what we wanted to eat but the waitress took quite a while to come back and take our food orders after getting our drinks. After we had been waiting a while, she told us we only had a couple of minutes to order before the menu changed, though we had been ready to order and waiting on her. The drinks were not that good, most of us only ordered one drink because we did not enjoy them (and we all ordered different drinks). The food was average, not bad at all but nothing spectacular. Typical pub food. It's a decent place for a last minute brunch. read more

What a great neighborhood pub! Stayed right around the corner for a work trip, and were pretty tired -- so rather than grab a Lyft to explore a different neighborhood, we walked over to McCray's. We enjoyed it so much, we returned the next evening! I had the chicken wings, which were messy but good! One of my friends had the pasta bolognese (I know, at a pub??) and she raved about it. I also got a side of sweet potato fries, which were the sweetest sweet fries I think I've ever had. The second time we went, we brought someone else with us. One of us had the carnivore flatbread, and loved it. The other had the smoked turkey club, and also loved hers. I had a chicken salad sandwich. Fresh, relatively light for pub food (which is what I wanted). Everyone was happy -- and two of us had leftovers to take back to the hotel for later snackies! We also had two awesome servers (the first of whom remembered us the second time we went). Really appreciated their input and ideas on the menu, too! read more

I'm gonna give this place a 5 star and not because of the service - which was extremely slow... but friendly... I'm giving some grace for the service because it was a Friday night and the NBA Finals was on, and they were super busy! Most importantly, the food was suburb for a Bar/Pub type place. I ordered a simple meal: House salad with a piece of Salmon... the fixings and dressing on the salad were very tasty and the salmon was cooked to perfection. I don't usually do this, but I got a dessert and on recommendation from the server, I ordered the brownie. Great choice because the brownie came out warm and I got the ice cream on the side. Great option. Good vibes, good people...give it a try. read more

Looking for a place to eat after arriving in midtown we found McCray's. We sat at the bar and ordered some IPA's. There were at least three to choose from, which is nice. Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and a burger. Both sandwiches were really tasty. The star was the onion rings, though. These are the best prepared onion rings I've ever had. I order them, if available, everywhere I go. Usually when you get a large onion ring they're either soggy or bready. These were absolutely perfectly crisp with a well done onion in the middle. The burger and chicken were both really good and service was pretty quick. We went back at night to watch Thursday night football and they turned the tvs and volume on, which we greatly appreciated as our team from home was playing. We moved from the bar to the upper seating area and ordered the smash burger, which is the special on Thursday night-$10 bucks!! We both enjoyed it, with onion rings, again. Amber, our server was efficient and super friendly. read more

Delicious food. Great service. Smash burger deal on Thursday night is amazing. Love this spot. It is a must stop in midtown.

Great location. Pet friendly patio with outdoor seating close to the bar. Multiple TV's in the bar area.. The service was great, before we could sit down we had a drink order in and menu's. The food was awesome, came out really quick but it was hot, cooked perfectly and exactly as we asked. The atmosphere is amazing. Definitely would go again read more

Chill place descent food. Little slow on drinks getting out to the tables. Could have made a lot more money.

Kayla was amazing! Food and service was soo good. No complaints. Trio app, cool. Spinach and artichoke dip, yummy! Chicken buffalo app was good, very meaty. Not my cup of tea. Buffalo chicken panini (grilled), very Good! Just go. read more

Looking for a late night bite or a drink? This is the spot. We walked down about half a mile to this place from Center Stage. Outdoor seating was available under Cafe lights as we walked in. Couples were enjoying drinks and conversation, a great 1st impression. Upon entry we were met with a hostess and seated immediately. Great because it was after 11pm and we were hungry. Great atmosphere and despite there being an almost full bar and many seated the noise level was nice. Lightning not too dark or too harsh and the menu was surprisingly diverse. We ordered lemon pepper wings, hot sauce on the side. The special of chicken noodle miso soup and the big ass pretzel. Man let me tell you they were all so good. Our server was so nice and made great suggestions including letting me know i could toss my wings in hot and lemon pepper but I didn't. She was quick and pleasant. The pretzel was soft, fresh, not greasy or too buttery and the mustard was a nice kicking whole grain. The cheese was white question and could have been better but still great. I loved watching the NFL stats and seeing games on the tvs as well. The star of the show is the wings, crispy, meaty, perfectly seasoned oh my gosh. So good! read more

The service was extremely disappointing. Our waitress disappeared for over 40 minutes, and we had to ask the hostess to find her. Even after that, it took another 15+ minutes for her to come back to our table. This wasn't a one-time issue the waitstaff seemed consistently slow and inattentive. 18% gratuity was added to our tab which felt frustrating given the level of service we received. Overall, the experience did not justify the mandatory service charge. read more

We went to this tavern specifically to watch the Georgia football game tonight. The bar was not showing the GA game. When we (and other customers) asked the server to turn the station so we can hear the game we were told that they couldn't cause they can ONLY play the South Carolina game. We then asked to speak with the manager cause why are we in the middle of Atlanta and can't watch the GEORGIA BULLDOGS Saturday night game. This man.... the manager says that "The VP is a S Carolina fan and that they can ONLY show & play the S Carolina games when they play. That was law". We as well as several other customers were PISSED to say the least. We passed several bars along W Peachtree to come to this bar and couldn't even watch and enjoy the game. We left and I will NEVER patronize this restaurant or any of the other locations again. read more

We went to "McCray's Tavern Midtown" to have a good time. What did that entail? Well karaoke, of course! The restaurant is deceptively big. From the outside it doesn't look like much. But inside it's a multi level behemoth. At the bar the bartender was great! She was on top of everything and everyone. She was friendly as well. They advised singing at 8pm so that's what we waited for. By 8:45pm however, DJ Sugar was ready to go. By 9:15pm no one but sugar sang. So my brother decided to go up. Once he broke the ice, people poured in to sing. Funny enough we met about five people there, all from New York! So of course we had to sing some New York, New York. It was a late night, but fun. If you need something to do in Atlanta on a Friday night, my suggestion is go see DJ Sugar from some singing. But be warned, Sugar is know to randomly join in with you. read more

Here for the weekend for a wedding, but it is also the sugar bowl so McCray's was very busy. I went there three times and it was packed full of football fans. It is a nice atmosphere, exactly what you're looking for if you're gonna watch a game and good food. I must say that I experienced great service for the amount of people that were in town for the sugar bowl. they were definitely on their game for the big weekend. Service was wonderful. The food was great. I had a Philly cheesesteak the first time very good sandwich not the greatest but very good day two for lunch I had the buffalo chicken Panini that has bacon in it. That was a surprise it was very good. I had the gumbo twice, which is excellent. One morning I had the breakfast burrito there and that was pretty damn good as well. I would say it was kind of like breakfast nachos with the cheese drizzled on top. all in all wonderful experience here the service was probably the best. great bar nice atmosphere good food. read more

I live in the neighborhood, very close, and have had similar experiences to what I'm about to describe but this one certainly takes the cake. We went to an event in the city and decided to go in and order to go. We usually call. We walk in, sit at the bar to order to go. The blonde waitress took a long time for everything. Giving us menus, taking our order, even bringing the check so we can leave. When were finally got the check, which was for a to go order, I obviously did not tip. She flips the screen and says 'Oh wow no tip'. After tearing us as invisible, she has the audacity to say this. I've never had this experience anywhere. Others will agree. Not to mention her friend walks in the bar WITH HER DOG and she accommodates her immediately. Very poor experience. We won't be back and that's sucks because we live close by. read more

Stopped by while in the area. We sat in the outside porch in the front and ordered, two types of wings, lemon pepper and sweet bbq. We also got Brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. I was not a fan of the Brussel sprouts because it had goat cheese on them and even though, I love goat cheese. I personally don't think it paired well and it was over powering. Wings could've been better more lemony for the lemon ones. We got two happy hour drinks that were decent, think it was the pineapple margarita. We went during happy hour hours and it was getting packed. Service was a bit slow but the server was nice and made up for the wait. They had live karaoke while we were there. read more

The servers were very friendly and attentive. The food was good. Particularly the southwest bowl which was probably one of the best I've ever had. Went to McCrays for brunch on Sunday and ordered the breakfast bowl with grits and an espresso martini. The bowl was really good and the grits were creamy which was perfect for me. Mixed with the eggs (I ordered over easy), sausage, and their sauce, it was perfect! I don't usually eat grits often but I'd definitely order their bowl with grits again. The espresso martini definitely was more of a premix type (kind of expected) and not the best. My one friend ordered the omelet and said it was really good and the other ordered the chicken and waffles which was good aside from the smaller sized chicken pieces. Overall, good food and would go back! read more
