#97 for 2021 It was time to clean up and that means dumping the recycles to get what I can out of them. Searching through Yelp I found McCoy Recycles. After reading a few reviews the main point I got out of it is they are quick and clean. I headed down with my plastics and tins having no clue what to do. Fortunately signs were posted up on the wall behind the carts giving instructions what to do. They were easy to follow. We stood inline waited for our turn. A guy walked over grabbed our carts. He weighed them and gave us a receipt. I took it to the cashier to collect my booty and just like that I had cash in my pockets. The cashier was warm and friendly greeting me when I came up and told me to have a nice day when the transaction was completed. The guy that initially took my recycles spoke no words at all. Impressive he knew exactly what I wanted and I didn't say a single word. Overall I was pleased with the service and will come back. read more

Went as smooth as can be.. you can tell they care about making things as easy as possible for their customers by providing large & clear instructions on how to separate your recyclables correctly and listing the current prices per pound beside them. They even constructed their own 'wide-mouthed' containers for your recyclables using PVC pipes to make dumping and separating so much easier for you. read more

Although it's a very busy place with many people coming in to cash in their recycling, I've never had to wait any more than 5 mins after unloading my recycles into the proper designated bins, getting it weighed and then cashed out. There's plenty of parking. Easy to read signs to follow on which bins to put which type of recyclable items in. They will accept all recyclable not just crv cans/plastic/glass. Bring your scrap metals, save your milk jugs and other plastics, they will take nearly anything that can be recycled. read more

Went here for the first time since moving to San Bernardino and I was wow'd. When I lived in LA I would take my recycling to a place off Venice and it was a little sketchy at times. The Best recycling center in So Cal didn't inform customers that they would be closed on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Apparently, they have decided to hire new people that are very threatening and downright disrespectful they're talking about customers loud enough for every customer to hear them and the things they are saying are very inappropriate. It used to be a place. Great workers !! I love this recycling center and they were very organized ! I was a little afraid coming here on my own so I brought my boyfriend because I dress alternative and people are judgey so I was happy to see how professional everyone was! It's very easy and convinient and I personally like the idea that not only can you see what they're doing as soon as they take your bottles, everything is strictly organized in the carts from plastic to alluminum and you can give them the glass in a seperate bag. The best thing about this place is that the prices are great !!!!! I will forever come here :) read more

This is honestly the nicest recycling center I have ever been to hands down. CLEAN! and organized well, with an amazing staff. The parking, rolling carts, weigh station, and cashier are all in the same general area and the friendly staff makes things go smoothly. There is a ton of signage that explains the different materials and their current value (look up coupons for even more $$$). I recommend separating your bottles/cans ahead of time to keep everything as efficient as possible and filter out those non-CRV items so they won't have to do it there and hold up the line. I used to have another local recycling center that I would always visit when my containers get full, but McCoy is now my go-to spot! read more

I have been a loyal customer of McCoy Recycling since the day they opened and as of now I will not be coming back since I will be taking my business elsewhere and I recommend everyone else to do the same. I would drive 30-45 minutes out of my way to come here even though there is a recycling center located right behind my business due to previously receiving great service but that is no longer the case. I would of saved money by throwing my recyclables and scrap in the dumpster instead of scrapping them. read more
