I purchased a Class B - Grech Strada from McClains (Rockwall) in April 2024. Salesman Steve Cathey helped me throughout the entire process and made the purchase experience relaxed and fun. Steve has a great personality and very knowledgable on the Grech quality and history. Right after the purchase, my wife and I made a trip to Tennessee and back to Texas. (This Grech has every conceivable feature and g ) Upon our return, I returned my RV to McClains for a minor repair and met the GM Brad Wilkinson along with service tech Trey Cluck. They were all truly outstanding, positive and very professional. I've purchased several RV's in my life, but never had a more pleasant experience than the Rockwall McClains staff. They're the absolute best in the RV world!

The wrinkled trim that needed replaced, replaced with scratched trim. Note the side trim has a new notch.

STAY AWAY!!!! Spend your money elsewhere, this place has the WORST customer service and their quality/craftsmanship in repair is suboptimal. I bought my RV 1/3/24. I was bullied by the financial guy, Danny Pak. Who badgered me to take their GAP/EXT warranty policies, after I told him no, I already had those policies established with other companies. He said McClains policies were like Neiman Marcus and the policies I had were like Walmart. Ken, the salesman received a photo text from me about a part that needed to be fixed on my sink. His response was "I don't know how to get this to my service department... " I told them of most issues before I left the lot. A man came out and told me, don't worry, come back in 30 to 45 days and we will fix everything. he said I would get a call. I never received a call. I sent an email stating everything that needed to be fixed before arriving. They fixed a few things, but told me they weren't fixed? The repairs are worse than the original issues. I was told I could contact another grand design warranty dealership and take my RV elsewhere. Below are the issues, Trim piece above the freezer had a few wrinkles in the veneer. I get it back with the new trim piece scraped and the trim next to it now has a notch cut in it that wasn't there before. They have known since 1/5/24 that I needed a new sink, for a screw missing. They had my RV for a week and a half and it still didn't get it replaced. A riser on the stair was loose. Multiple staples placed sporadic and hanging out was the repair. They dropped something on the floor and dented the linoleum and scratched the toe kick with their carelessness during repairs.

We initially worked with the Waco/Hewitt location with sales rep, Damian Kenyan, sales manager Chris Houston, and regional sales director Todd Saylors after finding a Z3515 through Brinkley's website. After that unit sold, we paid a $1,030 deposit to hold another unit and were told it would be rerouted so we could see and inspect it at our scheduled Waco appointment on March 7, 2026. The DAY BEFORE, we were told we would instead have to drive to Giddings--hours out of our way. We asked them to honor the Waco arrangement we made before paying our deposit, but they refused, saying moving the RV wasn't "cost effective." After several frustrating conversations with upper management, we walked away from Waco and contacted Fun Town Dallas/Rockwall ourselves. Sales Manager Benny Black agreed to transfer the same RV to Dallas, honor the Waco pricing and transfer our deposit, provided we completed financing first. We agreed and were easily approved. I mean it wasn't cost effective in Waco, but Dallas it was fine?! Our experience in Dallas was better in some ways, but still disappointing. When we arrived for our inspection, the slides were out while the RV wasn't properly leveled. My husband owns an RV repair company and has 28 years of industry experience and questioned this. Benny attributed the practice to a Brinkley representative, whom we later contacted directly and who told us he had NOT given Benny that guidance. Our inspection found only a few minor issues--which speaks well for Brinkley--but none of the items written on the inspection were repaired, nor was the RV washed, after they learned my husband owns an RV repair company. Our original deal also included a GEN-Y hitch valued at over $2,500. When that wasn't available, we agreed to substitute a washer/dryer combination, which actually saved the dealership money. Two people DO deserve recognition: our Dallas salesperson, Brandon Nguyen, was extremely pleasant, accommodating and professional. Luis in finance was also knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with during our calls and signing. What really bothered me was learning that my understanding was Brandon had to split his commission with Damian Kenyan from Waco. If accurate, that's extremely disappointing considering we contacted Dallas ourselves after the Waco transaction fell apart. Brandon was the salesperson who actually worked with us and helped complete the purchase. Finally, when we took possession on March 28, Dallas initially wasn't going to provide a starter kit even though Fun Town's website indicated one was included. I had to specifically ask Benny Black for it and was initially told our purchase didn't come with one. Only after I mentioned that I would include this in my fair and honest review did the issue get addressed. Bottom line: We LOVE our Brinkley Z3515. Our problem is with the dealership experience, not the RV. For a purchase of this size, customers shouldn't have to repeatedly push for commitments to be honored or items to be provided as represented. Brandon and Luis were bright spots and deserve credit, but the overall experience left us extremely disappointed in Fun Town RV. My advice: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING--price, location, deposit terms, accessories, repairs and anything promised. Screenshot what their website says is included, and absolutely have your RV independently inspected before signing or taking possession.
