If you are thinking of working with Ray Lefvour and McCarthy Ford you must read this 1st! Ray Lefvour called and asked me to come into the dealership for a sale he was having the Escapes. I came to Lefvour wasn't in. We had bought a couple of Ford's from Lefvour before. LeFevour team took over they were very pushy and wouldn't even look at the preapproval I came in with. On September 6th of this year, I bought a 2019 Ford Escape from McCarthy Ford. On Monday the 9th I sent Lefvour an email saying how I wasn't happy how I was treated. Lefvour called right back and left on my voice mail how he didn't want to do business with me and that he had ripped up our contract and to bring the car back in. I sent Lefvour an email telling me he could rip up our contract but I intended to keep the car and since he ripped up the contract and I wasn't I was obliged to bring the car back. Well, Lefvour went into a rage he called me 6 more times a couple from different cell numbers. He demanded I bring the car right back or he was calling the police. Lefvour sent email after email saying I stole his car and that I would be arrested in front of my family. We called Ford they said there was nothing they could do. Once Lefvour called again I answered this time I asked Lefvour whose number was 312.320.4031? LeFevour said how should I know? I asked him again you never called me this number? Lefvour again said no. I said I called that number and you answered and said I had the wrong number. I told Lefvour I got that number from you calling earlier and you answered and said that wasn't you didn't know any Ray remember? He said sorry pal I never talked to you from that number. I said, no Ray? Who is Kelly Lefvour from 507 s Sunnyside Elmhurst, Illinois? Lefvour then said he works at the dealership. I asked if that is your brother? Lefvour wouldn't answer. I said you don't know your brother's number? I said Ray you just lied 7 times in a minute and a half. Lefvour then went into a tirade and called me names that can't be printed here. Lefevour was screaming so loud over the phone my wife came in the close the windows. My wife asked if she could speak to Ray, to see way he was screaming so much. When my wife asked Lefvour what his problem was he told my wife that "your husband is a pussy and I am going to show you how much". My wife took that as a threat and called the police. The police came over and called Lefvour and asked him why he lied and said the police would arrest me for theft when we had a contract and that this is a civil matter. Lefvour told the policeman that he didn't understand that it is yearend sales and needs to get out all the old cars to make room for the new 2019's. The officer then said listen to me if call or text or email these people even 1 more with another lie or threat or even to say good morning I am coming over and you won't like it. The officer then asked if he understood. LeFevour said he understood. After Lefvour said he tore up the paperwork we went to another Ford dealer and told the story a few of the salesmen came up and said this kid has HUGE problems Huge problems and that he finally went off the deep end. The kid is not a bad kid but he has to admit he has a problem and get some help. If you are thinking of buying a Ford stay away from McCarthy Ford and Ray Lefvour! Btw...even though Lefvour said he was ripping up the paperwork somehow the paperwork ended up in the lender's hand. read more

This dealership was recommended to me by my aunt who has purchased all of her cars here. Since then, i have purchased 3 new cars there, starting with a fiesta that i traded in for a focus. Then the focus i traded in for an escape. The people that were there are extremely friendly and helpful, and even though purchasing a car can be a slow and time consuming process everyone there always made sure i was comfortable and not confused about anything. The dealers I've dealt with have always been pleasant to converse with during the waiting process and have always been patient with my millions of questions. Also, I've always had all of my work done for those cars at the shop there. Its extremely affordable (my first car purchase I was 22, in college, and working part time). The guys that work at the front desk of the shop are very knowledgeable and courteous. I have to say this was the easiest time I have ever had buying a car that I ever had. my wife and I went to mc carthy ford to look at the new escapes we meet Dan a salesman and he showed us some cars and we took an escape for a test drive. he told us all about the car and answered all are questions. very nice no pressure. went in by his desk and he asked us what it would take to have us buy the car we gave him are price and what we would like he said he would be right back he came back and showed us some better numbers then we had been thing of and we said we would take it....the deal was so good we asked him for another deal he came back with another great deal so we bought another 2015 Escape from Dan...we got great money for our trade in cars zero percent finance 5 years and a very doable monthly payment. ....Thanks to Dan and McCarthy Ford read more

I never thought I would have left a dealership service station completely happy, but I did. Short story, is the car died out and I took it in. In the first visit they were unable to diagnose the problem (no lights on + car now running fine), but they still paid for the rental and reduced the price of the diagnostic, after keeping my car 3 days (so I felt they did their due diligence in trying) A few weeks later, the same thing happens to my car, and I bring it back to McCarthy. This time they find the problem and fix it under warranty. On a whim I asked for a refund on my diagnostic fee from the first time, and was given it, without any kind of haggling. I would also like to add, as a female, I was greatly relieved that I was not treated like a moron. read more

We had top notch service from the minute we walked into the showroom until the time we left. They went above and beyond to get me the car and the price that I wanted. Then they called me a week later to make sure I was loving my new vehicle. They genuinely want to help people leave with cars they love at the best prices possible. I have to say by far the worst Ford dealers to do business with. Ray La Fevour is the worst owner of any car dealership you will ever see. Almost all dealer owners try to make the customer happy not Lefvour. The man lied so many times I'm not sure if his name is even Lafevour. Read some of the posts from the other websites and you will surely go to a reputable dealership when you go to buy your next Ford. The place is dirty and you feel like you are in a dungeon when you go inside. Well, after going back and forth 4 or 5 times with McCarthy Ford and BBB, I get determination that BBB feels McCarthy tried to make a "fair" settlement with me. Just so you all know, what was fair to them was no where near what I asked for or should have received. What a joke McCarthy Ford is and what a disgrace BBB is. Total waste of time.
