    McCathy call log wife.

You would be better trusting your car with a chop shop, at least you'll know the end result. This dealership has known about the safety recall for my traverse. The recall is for airbags shooting shrapnel. They failed to tell us the status for the recall and, after being confronted by it, decided there was nothing wrong with how they've handled this. I brought my car in over 2 months ago for tires. They chose to add an alignment in an underhanded fashion. I ended up waiting an extra hour because of their poor service. I requested my veteran discount 3 times and never got it. When I got the vehicle home, I noticed new damage to my rim and lug nut. I left a review, and the service manager responded with I'm sorry, this was your experience. I'm working this with myself. It took over a month to get in contact with the service manager afterward. When we finally connect, the service manager is rude and unwilling to work with me. I waited around for at least 8 hours that I set aside to work with them. Despite setting up a time, the service manager doesn't reach out until I text him again. The service manager knew his offer would not be acceptable before calling and decided to waste as much of my time as he could. Even after I asked to speak to his boss, multiple times, he decided to play dumb and keep wasting my time. The service manager shouted, lied, refused accountability, and verbally assaulted me. The worst part of this experience was after the service manager should have known about the recall, he still stated, "I dont think you've had that bad of service, I really don't." I am interpreting this quote as McCarthy saying we dont care that we failed to do our job or that you and your family are in mortal danger because of it. I move on to the general manager after this. At this point, a trend is displayed of the managers not reaching out when they say they will. The entire time working with the general manager, I was met with excuses and lies. After about a week and half getting a simple update was too much for him to handle. The managers were provided all the information and time needed to work with me, and in over 2 months, no progress has been made. As someone who's graduated basic leaders course and advanced leaders course, I find it strange the general manager referred to himself as a leader. Brian (general manager), if you know what the term leader means, then you would understand how poorly your "leadership" skills have impacted this experience and your company. I've wasted over 2 months of my time on people who clearly don't care about the service they provide, my property, my time, or the well-being of my family and I. All they care about is taking your money by any means necessary. As a company who claims to go above and beyond for service and honesty, you need to do better! How can you claim these standards and employ people who use tactics halting the customer from sharing their experiences with staff qualified to work customer service?

Service is fine but now I get emails and texts nonstop to complete satisfaction surveys, even though I submitted one that day.

When purchasing the Bronco, we were specifically asked how we intended to use the vehicle. We explained that towing was part of that use and that we wanted the appropriate upgrades. We relied on the Ford dealership--the people we reasonably considered the subject-matter experts on the vehicle--to explain what equipment and configuration would be necessary. We do want to acknowledge that there was no hitch installed on the back of the Bronco at the time of purchase. However, that does not change the fact that the required tow package and related towing functionality were never disclosed or discussed with us during the sales process. We later discovered that additional equipment/configuration was required for the trailer-related lighting and signaling functionality we needed when towing. This was never mentioned during the sale, and even when we brought the Bronco back to this dealership weeks later for service, nothing was brought up then either. Before writing a public review, I emailed the dealership privately. My email was professional and specifically gave them an opportunity to address the situation and tell us what they could do to help. Management immediately called me. Unfortunately, that conversation is ultimately why I am leaving this review. Rather than acknowledging that this information could have been better communicated during the sale or discussing a possible solution, the manager was dismissive and repeatedly placed the responsibility on us. His position was essentially that because we purchased the Bronco without a hitch, we should not have assumed the necessary towing functionality was included, and he made it clear the dealership would not be doing anything about it. My response remains very simple: I don't know what I don't know. We told the dealership what we intended to do with the vehicle. We purchased a highly equipped Bronco with the expectation that the professionals selling it would explain which features were necessary for our stated use. Had someone told us during the sale that we needed an additional towing package, component, or configuration, we would have purchased or addressed it then. This isn't about expecting every available option to magically be included. It's about expecting knowledgeable guidance when you're purchasing a vehicle and have specifically explained how you intend to use it--especially when the missing functionality relates to proper trailer lighting and signaling. What disappointed me most wasn't discovering the issue. Problems and misunderstandings happen. It was management's response when we gave the dealership an opportunity to make it right. We are now out of state handling the issue ourselves. Based on both the sales experience and, more importantly, management's response afterward, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership. If you're purchasing a Bronco here and intend to tow, I strongly recommend independently researching and verifying every towing component and feature yourself before signing anything. Unfortunately, our experience taught us not to assume that information will be explained to you--even when you've clearly communicated how you intend to use the vehicle.

It's mentioned in a TSB but my vehicle was almost 13000 miles past bumper to bumper warranty. Because the vehicle was just outside of warranty, and I've been a loyal Mazda owner for 16 years, I opened a goodwill request with Mazda Corporate. Luther Mazda service department went above and beyond throughout the process. They arranged a loaner for me because they anticipated the corporate review could take some time, and they allowed me to keep the loaner while the case was being resolved. Ultimately, Mazda Corporate approved replacement of the entire headlight assembly, with Mazda covering everything except a $100 participation fee (an almost $2500 repair out of pocket). I was extremely impressed with that resolution, particularly since the vehicle was already outside the normal warranty period. I also want to specifically thank the Luther Mazda service team for working with Mazda Corporate and making the process easy for me. I've owned 3 Mazdas since 2010 and this experience reinforced why I've continued to choose the brand. Great dealership and a great service department and great automaker.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM DAY ONE…read more I would NOT recommend McCarthy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lee's Summit based on my experience. My problems with this Jeep started FROM DAY ONE. I have dealt with repeated issues with this vehicle, including the Jeep breaking down while I was driving it. I have repeatedly informed the dealership about the problems, yet instead of standing behind the vehicle they sold me and properly addressing my concerns, I am now being told they will not make the repairs I have requested. The Jeep also had a broken visor when I purchased it. The cigarette lighter/power outlet does not work, which may involve a fuse or electrical issue. I have reported these problems along with other issues I have experienced with the Jeep. I also received conflicting information regarding my tags. The dealership told me they could not include/handle my tags as part of the transaction. My loan provider later informed me that the dealership could have handled or included them. I relied on the dealership to provide accurate information during such a major financial transaction, and finding out afterward that I was given conflicting information was extremely frustrating. This is NOT buyer's remorse. I wanted my Jeep. I purchased it in good faith. My problem is how I have been treated while trying to get legitimate issues with the vehicle addressed. What makes this even more disappointing is that people have personally asked me about this dealership and whether they should purchase a vehicle here. I told them about my experience and recommended that they go somewhere else--and they did. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend a dealership to my friends, family, associates, or anyone else when this has been my experience. When a vehicle is breaking down while someone is driving it, that's more than a minor inconvenience. Reliability and safety matter. I should not have to repeatedly fight to get concerns addressed on a vehicle that has given me problems since the beginning. I tried handling this directly with McCarthy. I reported the problems and gave them opportunities to address them. Since I have not received a satisfactory resolution, I am now documenting everything and filing formal consumer complaints. If you're considering purchasing here, based on my experience, I strongly recommend that you CHECK EVERYTHING AND GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE YOU SIGN. Have the vehicle independently inspected. Test every electrical component. Carefully read the warranty. Verify information about financing, taxes, registration, and tags independently. Do not rely solely on verbal statements. I expected much better after making a major purchase. McCarthy still has an opportunity to make this right. I want the problems with my Jeep properly diagnosed and addressed, the pre-existing broken visor corrected, the nonfunctioning power outlet/electrical issue repaired, and the other problems I have repeatedly reported properly addressed. Until that happens, I cannot recommend McCarthy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Lee's Summit. In fact, when people have asked me where they should purchase their next vehicle, I have already recommended that they take their business elsewhere. Customers deserve better--especially after they've trusted your dealership with one of the biggest purchases they'll make. I WISH SOMEONE SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT
