Tried twice on the phone. No answer (fine it was a heat wave) left message, twice, no call back. Saw one of their techs in my neighbourhood. I stopped and asked if they could get their office to contact. Took My information. No call. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. Still haven't gotten someone out to service the furnace and possible quote on a new one. I will try a third company. Been here sicne mid-May, no one seems to call you back. real sad. read more

We had an AC unit installed 2 years ago by McCance and they admitted it was a tough install but everything was good to go. The bill took 4 months to get the bill. This is an older house and thought that's why it was working so hard to cool. During the first winter the furnace struggled to heat the house. I finally had another company look at it. The cooling exchanger was blocking all the vents. We ended up right sizing the furnace, changing the exchanger and properly hooking up the humidifier. The whole house is the same temperature and can feel the air blow. We would not recommend them. read more

Had a leak with our water tank and a drip in another part of the house. Both problems were diagnosed quickly and fixed just as quickly. The hot water tank is getting old and he did say the water tank should probably be replaced but he did not push for it and did a quick fix on it instead. The drip on the other side of the house was a major job to fix. But he had all the parts even though it's old style copper piping. It's not the first time we asked McCance plumbing to come and help us with problems with our plumbing (old house). I wouldn't ask anyone else. They've always been honest, professional and efficient. read more

Called 4 Plumbing companies in the Okotoks area on New Year's Eve morning and only 1 called back (Ben at McCance). Very Good communication with Ben on telephone, tried to help over the phone, but needed a service man to help with the problem. Kevin was here within an hour and problem was fixed. This is my plumber for life!!! I had an old boiler system that crapped out on me. I had 3 plumbers/hvac people come in to give me an estimate on repairing and each one told me they wouldn't touch it and recommended a replacement in the range of $10 - $15K.When I called McCance and asked them to come and give me an estimate, Donna the lady who answered the phone was amazing! She made me feel right at ease that they were an honest company and they would first try to fix my existing boiler if they could and then quote on a new one if needed. Chris came right away and he was so good...he was honest, and completely transparent - I knew I could trust him. He fixed my boiler and made any recommendations for me and did the job with such professionalism. He saved me a ton of money and in return I will give them all my future business because I will need water heaters in the near future as well as any other plumbing needs.
