Brad from 24/7 Electric was great. Helped me find a solution for running coax out to my amateur radio antenna. Not a typical job!

I had the guys from 247 Electric come out to do a few things. I honestly was unsure of what to think because I've had a few other contractors out to my house and being a Women I've always felt a little out of my realm. I originally had just requested a quote for a Tesla charger install. I know they were certified with Tesla and they came highly recommended from a friend and they also are highly rated on other review sites so I thought it was worth a shot. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful and also very nice! Booking was convenient and easy. I had Shane come out to give the quote he was super nice and extremely knowledgeable about what I needed and didn't need. He explained I wasn't able to get the largest charger Tesla has unless I was willing to spend more money on doing a whole bunch of work to get more power to my house. I think for me what I appreciated the most is his questions of what my expectations were of charging my car and also my long term goals of my house. This was important for me because I have a 5 year goal to move to a bigger more forever home and he explained to me that putting a bunch of money into getting more power might not be the best investment of my money. I did receive a few other quotes but after dealing with Shane I felt most comfortable with him and 247 Electric and felt he wanted to help and offered the best suggestions and seemed like he knew the most about how and what actually had to be done. I booked him in and dealing with there office was just as easy as the first time and they had all my information and knew exactly how long it was going to take. Shane had suggested not to take the day off to watch them work so I let them in and left for most of the day. Work was done exactly as promised and no surprises at the end. I also had the inspector come out to inspect the work which he didn't seemed to concerned with anything and was in and out in no time. The day of the actual work I did come home before they were done. Shane had another guy with him who was also friendly. I asked him about lights in my kitchen and he suggested some ideas and different things I could do. I decided on Pot lights, which they were also able to do right while they were there. I was beyond amazed with the lights and what it did to my kitchen. I know the guys seemed more excited about the car but I was just blown away with how easy they made it seem to put lights were I thought was not possible! The whole experience was just awesome! Great guys, great company. I felt the price was reasonable for all the work that was done. I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. I've never had to call an electrician before, so I was relying on previous Yelp reviews. The guys from 24/7 more than lived up to expectations! Both Shane and Devon were extremely friendly, professional and efficient. Also gave quote before work started, after the site had been inspected, so there were no surprises. They were even able to book the work for the same day I called, even though it was by no means urgent. I will definitely call them again if I ever need more electrical work done. There were some renos done at a condo I'd purchased as a rental. The outside outlet wasn't connected. The condo management co. told me that I had to take care of this myself as there was something lacking in the electrical panel. I told the lady on the phone that I believed that there wasn't any room in the panel. They sent Devlin out who told me that I just needed a breaker installed. He also outlined some additions that could be made later. I had some questions that he answered regarding wiring an exhaust fan I've been considering for the future. I appreciate being told straight up what was needed as opposed to what would be an improvement and not necessary. Devlin was obviously knowledgeable, thorough, and efficient. If he is typical of their technicians, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. read more

These guys are absolutely the best! 24/7 lived up to there name and also reputation. I was having issues with my lights flickering and a bunch burnt out bulbs. I just got back from holidays and was in a panic it was like 8pm at night. I tried a few places that said they were always open! Calling 24/7 Electric was much more than I had expected. The number went to a automated service saying that they were currently closed but in case of an emergency dial 3 for a emergency in Calgary. A gentleman by the name of Davin answered and was polite and extremely helpful and informative. He suggested to save money and first to ensure based on the info I gave to have Enmax come out first. He gave me the exact number to Enmax to call and they were out to my place fairly quickly. Enmax could not find anything on there side and suggested having an Electrician come out further to investigate inside my house. I asked him who he thought and he actually recommended 24/7 Electric himself. I called and the office booked me in for the morning with Davin. When he came to the house he was prompt and ready to work. He first explained everything about the company and they do things. All very upfront with no surprises. He went through my entire Electrical system and explained everything he was doing and why. He clearly knew what he was doing. In a very short and efficient time he was able to locate a wire inside my panel that was loose. I would have never even noticed it! He than made sure all the other connections in the panel were tight and done right. I also wanted some other things done and he was able to do them right than and there. I wanted a new dimmer and a motion Sensor for my garage. He noticed I had a bunch of brand new appliances and suggested a surge protector that he installed in the panel. I asked a few questions regarding it and he was once again extremely knowledgeable and I was more than comfortable in having him do that. I've since further done a quick google search and am even more impressed with his knowledge and recommendation. I can't say enough about how helpful and honest these guys are and am thankful to have used them. I would reccommend them to everyone. Words will never express how happy and thankful I am for 247 Electric. My whole experience has not only be awesome! but has restored my faith in humanity. I had a problem with some of my plugs not working. I called and they sent out Nate, he was a super nice guy and super smart. He was able to fix my problem and identifiy my problem. I previously had a buddy come over who did Commercial work and he was stumped, so Nate looked like a superstar compared to him..... Sorry Jay but it's true! The reason these guys are awesome is I have 2 very small kids who are crazy when it comes to Bed time. We have resorted to taking out everything in there bedroom they share because they would get up and Throw a party in the night. We had to blind out the window on the outside so they wouldn't get up when it was light out..... Being kids they just turn on the light and the party would Persue. We needed up taking the light bulb out and would have to get up on a chair to take it out or put it back in. At this point I was at war with these kids and I asked if Nate could just rewire it, I didn't even care about damage. He could have easily taken advantage of me in a moment of weakness and just did the destructive job and charged me lots of money. Instead he showed me a new Style of dimmer and he fixed my problem of the light switch without Wrecking anything! For that you get full stars and my loyalty to come. Thanks again guys! Shane and his team at 24/7 were amazing! We bought a 1960s house that required a full panel upgrade, lighting throughout (houses built in that era didn't install lighting in living or bedrooms), a full kitchen reno and and a re-wire througout the house. Shane recommended that we make our house a "smart" home so we had smart pot lights fished in as well (Lutron Caseta smart home dimmers) in all living spaces upstairs and down. They were incredibly timely, knowledgeable and we're so glad that we listened and installed the smart lights. This has help us keep our utilities costs down, not to mention how handy it is to be able to control all your lighting on your phone and through Siri/Google Home. I spent a great deal of time quoting out projects for this reno and meeting with different electricians. 24/7 were right on budget and a pleasure to work with.
