I'm so disappointed with the treatment we have received as long time customers of Beycon. We pay…read morefor bi-monthly service which they failed to do properly which resulted in a tree falling over. Instead of going back out to fix the problem, Juan decided to charge us $50 to stake the tree down. We agreed to this as we didn't want the tree to fail. His team went out to do the work and used a cheap wooden stake and didn't bother to trim the tree. With all the recent storms, any landscaper would know to be proactive. Within a day, the wooden stake broke and completely failed. Again, instead of going back out and fixing their failure, they refused to go back out to our home unless we paid more. They blamed the storm and the tree instead of their negligence. If the tree was trimmed properly, it wouldn't have failed. Mind you, we pay monthly for landscaping service and trust the work will be done. Juan clearly has no integrity. Whoever he uses to field messages and phone calls is extremely unprofessional as wI'm so disappointed with the way Juan and his team treated us after using them consistently for 2 years now. If he had any integrity, he would've trimmed the tree correctly the first time. And he would've fixed the issue with the wooden stake instead of leaving a broken piece of wood in the yard where there's small children.

Today I witnessed this company cutting down trees with active nest in them approached and asked if…read morenest was in tree. I already knew that there was. The birds were swooping at him and he didn't care. I went to the tree after he lied to me and saw there was definitely nest with babies. This was after I watched him cut down a palm tree that had a live nest in it of a woodpecker!!!! Woodpecker immediately went to the palm tree when the guy got done cutting. It was so sad to watch. have it on video and will be posting on social media. Call game and fish but nobody was in the area today being it's a Saturday and so unfortunately no help till Monday but they will be returning my call, they take it very seriously. I had to get ahold of Arizona wildlife. Which both were extremely helpful for letting me know that it is a federal law, I had already looked it up though. In fact it is a federal law you can not disturb a live active nest. Also, there's a lot of old nest that aren't allowed to be removed. Both the landscaping company and the company reliable for hiring the landscapers are both held responsible. I'll be contacting the business owner on Monday as well. When calling the landscaping company I got but I have permission to get rid of all dead limbs.......by who the federal government? ???? Then she says what would you like me to do about it? I was like.....is it really my place to educate you all, shouldn't you know the law by now? And where's it my place to tell you what to do with an employee that is breaking a federal law???? My husband told her to care about a life for starters. She didn't like that. If I see the limb cut on Monday I'm sure they'll all be fined. I have proof of what it looked like when we left. Yeah you got paid to do a job but why don't you do it right and care about wildlife and do what's right and quit breaking the law. Mamma bird is still looking for her nest woodpecker nest is on the ground with all the palm leaves. I even have on video her employees teasing me and speaking in Spanish so I couldn't understand but I do know what the bad words are in Spanish and we'll leave it at that!

Beware of false representation of a licensed contractor!…read more We hired Down 2 Earth Landscaping for a large backyard project involving concrete coating, gravel, rock installation, stepping stones, and other exterior work. The experience was one of the most stressful and unprofessional contractor experiences we have ever had. Most importantly: as of today, we were unable to locate any active Arizona Registrar of Contractors license for this business or the individual representing himself as the contractor, despite repeated searches and direct verification attempts with the Arizona ROC. We repeatedly asked for proof of licensing and did not receive it. Consumers should verify licensing for themselves before signing anything or paying deposits. We will certainly verify in the future.  The problems throughout this project were extensive: * Concrete coating developed cloudy white discoloration after rain shortly after application * Finish appearance did not match what was discussed or expected * High-gloss sealer was used despite our request for matte * Concrete splatter and dents were left on painted stucco walls * Outdoor faucet hardware was damaged during the project * Rock color installed was dramatically different from what we requested * Multiple corrections and redirects were needed due to poor communication and lack of oversight * We were charged while still dealing with unresolved workmanship concerns * Communication became defensive, dismissive, and at times openly disrespectful when concerns were raised Rather than taking accountability, the response was largely blame-shifting and gaslighting. Concerns were minimized instead of professionally addressed, and we were made to feel like the problem for asking for basic quality and clarity on a very expensive project. Homeowners: please do your homework, verify licensing independently through the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and proceed with extreme caution.
