Service was fine. Ambiance was typical semi fast food low end decor. The food was the problem. I had the Reuben sandwich. They cut it in half, half of the sandwich was "ok" the other half had no, none, zero sauerkraut and zero thousand island dressing. I paid for a Reuben and got something they just threw together that was NOT a Reuben. My wife got a club sandwich. She opened it up and we were all amazed as we had no idea anyone could slice bacon that thin, you could almost see through it! Tomato slice ,meat slices were similar. Everyone at the table is now feeling a subtle form of being ripped off. Upon reviewing the bill, we clearly did not get what we paid for. Quite frankly this has been a problem with McAlister's for a long time, i.e. not getting your moneys worth. We probably will not be back as there are much better choices in the Stillwater area that do not cut every possible corner to increase their profit margin at the customer's expense. read more

Ordered online food when ready when I arrived. I got the choose two being half New Yorker sand and chicken salad along with an unsweetened tea. When greeted at intercom person was sweet energetic and precise, when I got to window same girl was so so sweet had a great smile and cheerfully got me my extras I asked for. On October 6, 2021 I placed an order through the app. It said that the order would be ready at 12:05pm. I got to the pick up window at 12:11pm and was told that my order was not ready and would I pull over and wait. No problem. At 12:35pm a young man delivered my sandwich. I asked to speak with the manager and was told, "we're really busy" to which I replied, "I've waited over 30 minutes for 1 sandwich, I want to talk to the manager." He replied, "everyone has been waiting over 30 minutes!" and he walked away. Through the pandemic, we made sure to support our local restaurants which included this McAlisters. Yesterday, they lost customers because my family will not return after I was rudely spoken to. read more

The portion sizes for this restaurant have significantly decreased over the last few years. I visited with my husband and in-laws last Sunday and the place was packed but table turnover was good and they were able to get people in and out pretty quickly. The kitchen was hustling, no one had to wait very long for their orders. I have not visited McAlister's very many times since becoming vegetarian - you figure it would be easy to find vegetarian items on this menu but there are not many options without having to modify the heck out of it. This time I went simple with The Veggie sandwich on a croissant with spicy mustard instead of mayo, and fruit. For the price this item felt like such a ripoff. My poor sandwich contained 2 pepper strips, 4 spinach leaves, 1 cucumber slice, a few onion bits, and a small squirt of spicy mustard. And my fruit cup was MUCH smaller than it used to be, but it was a good mix of fruit and the best thing on my plate. I won't order this sandwich again - guess I'll stick with my plain potato with veggie chili. The workers were definitely efficient so that is the reason why they get 3 stars instead of 2. read more

Service has always been good to me at this location and food is always served fast and tastes really good. I decided to do a review based on their new menu item, the Verde chicken sandwich. I used to get the spicy Southwest chicken, but I think this will be my new go to option! It was good, jalepeno bread was flavorful and fresh. One suggestion I would have for McAllister's is to ask their customers if the toppings on the sandwich are what they want or if they want to to make any changes. I downloaded the app and realized there were loads of toppings I could choose from which I never knew about! I will be customizing my sandwiches more from here on out. read more

Really good deli. Ingredients are fresh and the concoctions are delicious. Had a Pick Two with southwest chicken panini (3.5 star) and black cherry spinach chicken salad (5 star) for $8. Portion is good. Location was clean and service was fast, especially for a Friday lunch rush. After ordering at the counter and taking a number, staff delivers the meals to the table and is happy to grab anything extra that we missed before sitting down. Staff was also present and willing to take finished plates off the table so the guests can spend more time without the clutter. If helpful, saw several nicely packaged to-go items that could easily cater 70 people. read more

Too much mayo on the BLT. McAlister's need to serve soup hot. By the time they bring it it was cold.

Don't order delivery. They leave out items every time I order. The restaurant blames DoorDash, and DoorDash blames the restaurant. And your only option to resolve the issue is to drive over and pick up the missing item. So you're paying for delivery and a tip, and you have to go take care of the issue yourself. This is definitely not a one-off. Food is good but this chronic issue makes it a site to avoid. read more

This location is one of my Stillwater go-tos, there's usually SOMETHING for everyone to eat, the food is not awful for your body, the service is good, the desserts are good and overall the location is just cozy and home-like. Never been so disappointed, I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese, first of all they completely left out my Mac and cheese and the chicken club is sub par at best. My girlfriend ordered a BLT and a Caesar salad, the BLT had fallen apart by the time we received it and the chicken in the Caesar salad tasted a bit off. Horrible service!!! We ordered for 3 people to go but once we got home not a single one could eat their food! I am highly allergic to avacodos and I specifically said no avacodos well on top of getting avacodos they cross contaminated my sandwich when they cut it with the knife they used to cut the avacodo! You need to teach food safety this could of resulted in me dying that's how allergic I am to them! So then the club with no cheese was pitful only 1 slice of meat and bacon nothing else ... Been a few times and I can only say fair. Do not get a big cookie. They look good but are always undercooked; it's like eating raw dough that's slightly cooked on the edges. Huge cups of soda or tea, which is nice. Everything I've tried tastes fresh , salads, baked potatoes, soup. But seemed over priced. Good not great. I've been to this McAlister's twice and both times I have had the worst experience, but today knocked it out of the park! Since I am not familiar with this particular McAlister, I drove by their drive thru, waiting 12 minutes in line before reaching the window to be told that I have to order online. The girl didn't offer to take my order and have me go to the back of the line, she simply dismissed me. So I drive around to the parking lot, placed my order online, and got back in line. My receipt said my lunch would be ready by 12:28pm. Mind you I am on my 1 hr lunch break from 12pm-1pm. I received my food at 12:47pm just in time to drive back to work, where I am UNABLE to eat. This is beyond upsetting. At this point, it doesn't even matter if their food is "Good, Great, etc.." the experience completely makes you not enjoy your meal any longer. And to think that I've enjoyed McAlister's in other states/cities, but because of this experience, I no longer want to set foot in ANY McAlister's again. read more

Service is good and the inside is nice and clean. However I went there around 8:30 one evening and was the only one in there. I ordered a grilled cheese and vegetable chili and the sandwich was really small and the chili takes like a can of wolf brand chili. My girlfriend ordered a chicken salad and the left off the chicken. Didn't realize until we got home because it was take out. I would understand if the place was busier when we went, but we were the only ones. It also cost me $20 so I also think there portions are off. read more

The food was good and I had the potato Deluxe and also the Savannah salad the salad was fresh and tasty and the baked potato was the right size to go with salad it was a filling meal but I wasn't too stuffed to get around. The quality of food, I feel, has dropped since I first started patronizing McAlister's. The service at this particular location has never been outstanding. The food used to take a few minutes, but now I'd hardly be exaggerating if I said they've got it there in 30 seconds after I sit down and, as in most cases, as the food gets quicker, the quality gets less satisfactory. All the food I've gotten there recently (the past few months) exemplifies all the characteristics of something I could microwave at home. The bread, for example, (which appears to be toasted) is exceptionally moist. One of my favorite sandwiches to get at McAlister's is the California Turkey Reuben. Lately, I've received insufficient amounts of coleslaw (used in place of sauerkraut on the original Reuben) and my coleslaw is noticeably warm. Warm innards, soggy bread.. Sounds microwaved to me. I also absolutely love(d) the original Reuben. I would imagine my vision of the perfect Reuben is the same as anybody's: you bite into it and feel the soft crunch of the rye bread, your tongue is awoken by the saltiness of the sauerkraut, the tender, moist corned beef melts in your mouth, you're sent on a journey to Switzerland by way of the luscious emmental cheese and it's all topped off with a little taste of home--Thousand Island dressing. Unfortunately, what I get at this restaurant is a floppy piece of "toasted" (yet almost dripping wet) piece of (what looks like regular white) bread with some greasy meat, a few strands of the pickled cabbage and a piece of cheese I have to dig out of my bread and eat it alone to taste. If this is the quality of food I wanted, I'd make it myself, blindfolded in the rain, ya know? At an almost minimum of $8/person, we as customers expect the best. read more

We are regulars here. Good sandwiches, soups, and potatoes. While this is still our go to deli in town the quality of the service has significantly dropped over the past year. We can only assume they've had a change in management or policy. To go orders have frequent omissions so make sure you check them before you leave. Portion size is also smaller in the to go orders so unless you have a need to order it out I suggest you eat in. However quality of service has dropped there as well. They used to have pretty good tableside service but it is much less frequent now - hit or miss. Food is still pretty, pretty, pretty good though. read more

McAlister's is a great place for lunch. I really love their jumbo baked potatoes. Last time, I ordered the veggie one and added bacon to it. The girl waiting on me was very sweet and told me to order the bacon one and add veggies to it because it would cost less. Sometimes when I order the potatoes, they're out of them. That's how good they are! Other things on the menu aren't as good as the potatoes (sandwiches are ok...but definitely not better than potatoes.) Who can resist a giant spud with a soft fluffy inside and a perfectly baked, crusty exterior? Who can deny that cheese, veggies, and bacon pair perfectly with said potato? I dare you to not order a potato!!! Oh yeah, and the tea is pretty good. Get an unsweet one with your potato. Then, as you leave, get it topped off with sweet tea. (Perfect.) read more

I have always loved the food and the service, but I just had an experience that probably won't bring me back. I had a coupon that I tried to use, and the cashier told me she would have to ask the manager who then threw her hands up in the air as she yells "I'm not approving that!" And ran into the back, where she told me that the "general manager" said hey couldn't approve it. That's when for the first time she picked the coupon up and threw it away. When in Stillwater and looking for a soup/salad and sandwich combo, there's no better place than here. Sure, the quality isn't awesome, but is about as consistent as it gets and won't put a hole in your wallet. I'm more impressed with the salad than the sandwiches, but when cooked right the baguettes taste fresh and compliment the meat well. But, we came for the sweet tea and lemonade anyway, right? I have always loved McAlisters . Always had great service. We go once or twice s week during baseball season. Well tonight we went and it was awful !!! First the guy that took our order was rude and sarcastic and then the young lady that brought our food wasn't smiling and when I said thank you she said ok . Really ? If you don't like your job get a new one ! If you don't like working around people then DONT . Oh and I'm not done then the same guy that took our order drops a huge tray of dishes and 2 plates hit me in the shoulder. A manager did come out and said sorry . She looked about 18 .
