This chain has been around for I don't know how long and I finally tried one of their locations! I mean, it's a sandwich shop. There are sandwiches and chips and cookies. It was delicious. I love Schlotzsky's! I crave their salads. We came into town to meet with family and were told to pick up our lunches on the way. We tried to order online, and they had a deal for free drinks and chips with an entree, but it wasn't working at online checkout. On a Sunday for lunch, the drive-through was really busy, so we chose to order inside. Parking was plentiful. Olivia kindly took our order and answered questions well. I ordered their chicken-avocado cobb salad with honey mustard and my husband ordered their French Dip. The wait wasn't too long and their drinks were self-serve. Olivia helped us get our meal deal which saved us $4. The food was so good! The salad was fresh and very yummy. French Dip was warm and very juicy. We will always be back! read more

The "Original" is so good! I order it with everything on it, just as designed, even tho I normally don't eat some of those ingredients separately. Something about the way they prepare it, maybe the bread...? Or, just the right combination of this and that...? So delicious! Granted, sandwiches cost a little more relative to other places, but they taste *quality*, and I'm so glad we have something in town other than the standard burgers and subs. We don't have a Schlotzsky's in the town we live in, so we try to frequent them when we're out of town. Some are better than others. Stillwater did not disappoint us. Because of COVID-19, we placed an online order and picked it up. The sandwiches were great, the bread was super fresh, and they provided a few little extras because they were out of some of the things we requested. They even called us to confirm the substitutions were adequate! We'll definitely stop and eat here again when we are in the area. read more

This report saddens me to my core. I absolutely love this sandwich store, however this, is the WORST excuse for a business , with absolutely no management at all. They take orders process credit cards then close, Before anyone can pick up the order. I live less then 5 miles from this location. When we arrived They refuse to even acknowledge we were in the drive through lane. Telling us they are closed. When we ask to speak to "the manager" he is a tired whinny baby child. Maybe 25-30 keep saying not his fault or his problem, Verbally attacking a 60 year old man and his wife, who simply wanted a meal after a long tiring day. His response, not his problem! If we didn't like it we could call the manager. We told him we thought he was the manager he again made excuses for his bad attitude and lack of work ethic about the pandemic and being short handed. Well my family are teachers, cops and nurses so you can take your wining, over Worked butt and sell your excuses to someone who doesn't save lives for a living! 12hr shifts at a time. I'm so so sorry that it is too much to expect you to do your job and at least make me a damn hot, fresh sandwich. Then, these rude and unprofessional children who work in this establishment , refuse to refund the money already spent off of our card, or honor the $40 worth of food already purchased. I hadn't been to a Schlotzky's in a long time... maybe 9 years? This Schlotzky's was EXTREMELY different from the Schlotzky's I knew in my hometown. This place is not really a deli, served sandwiches that are barely mediocre, chips that weren't that great, and iced tea that was decent. I paid around $11 or 12 bucks for a lunch that wasn't very big and didn't knock my socks off. Whatever. I can deal with mediocre food and be a mostly happy customer. What does suck is that it took about 15-20 minutes for me to receive my sandwich, and no, the store was not busy at all. It was around 2 pm, well after the lunch rush. It also sucks that I had to listen to blaring Christian music during my (what I thought should be a more secular-leaning) lunch, AND, the staff was all singing along with the Christian-y tunes loudly as they walked around. Its not that it's horrible, I just didn't enjoy it and thought it was kind of inappropriate. My experience didn't feel so much like I was a customer at restaurant as it was like entering a youth-group gathering I didn't know I was going to. I even left without getting a cinnabon. Which is what actually made me want to stop, in the first place. It's really sad and too bad it's going to be easier/less awkward to make cinnamon rolls at home when my cinnamon roll cravings strike. First off, the owner needs to add A/C units, or fix the broken ones. It is astoundingly warm even with sun going down at 8pm. I can't come here at lunch time. I've always liked this brand. The food is fresh, no chicken nuggets, & good bread for the sandwiches. I had the small original meal deal & my son had the kid's cheese pizza. He was disappointed that his mean did not come in a kid's meal box. The atmosphere at this location is littered with the noise of a local Christian music station. This is offensive to some people, including myself. I would eat there more often if the station were changed or is off. Great food, but terrible service. We went in for a sandwich and soup, finally ordered, and then we waited. And waited. And waited. The saddest part is that one employee was evidently on her break since she sat chatting with a friend, watching all of us wait. When a previous customers food was taken to his table, he had left the restaurant! Tired of waiting! When I approached the counter to request that our food be given us to go, I saw yet another employee standing chatting with friends, ignoring all of us lined up waiting. For years I had been craving for a Schlotzskys to return to Stillwater. When it finally opened I was thrilled. Schlotzskys has definitely upscaled their offerings. They now have a higher class of chips than before and added soups and salad. I have eaten at this restaurant dozens of times since it has been opened 18 months ago. The staff has been very friendly and professional. The atmosphere very clean and comfortable. And the food awesome (not only the traditional Schlotzskys sandwiches, but also added pizza, soups and salads). Their portions are more than adequate. Another poster mentioned the music. It has always been pleasant and varied from what I would call soft Christian to light jazz to rock. It has never beed at an uncomfortable volume nor distraction to the dining experience. My personal recommendation would their pick two which includes a half medium sandwich and a bowl of soup or even one of their flat bread pizzas. read more

The Schlotzky's in Stillwater, OK was alright - Never great, though. But at least it was clean and they had good customer service. The one in Ponca City, OK, has been open for about a week now. Just HORRIBLE I must say. I went there just earlier around 3pm on a Tues. - So not very busy at all. I ordered 1 bowl broccoli soup, a sandwich no tomato, bbq chips & two drinks. You would think because it was open for about a week that it would still be running smoothly and have great service. I guess not, I left paying 20$ for a cold sandwich with tomatoes, regular chips, a cup ( not a bowl ) of the worst broccoli soup I have ever had and two watery, hot drinks. I then had to scour the internet just to finally find a phone number... and after three calls - no answer. So not only did I waste good money on terrible food and service, I couldn't even talk to a manager to get the issue resolved or any sort of repayment. If I ever get a call back from them, I may or may not go pick up the food they owe me. And after that I can for sure say that I will never go back. read more
