    That curbside pickup though

We placed an online order for pickup through the McAlister's actual site and found it to be a seamless process. Food looked great and was tasty however condiments, salad dressing, and pickles were all left out. The place is a decent chain however we will not be thinking of this as an option.

Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap This is what I got.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I would just like to start this by saying I have never ever given a review before, and created a yelp account JUST for this. I was very excited to go in and get my chicken Caesar wrap that I use to always get until I was greeted with a boy who was obviously stoned and did not care about his job. I also noticed that the employees would whisper a lot and look at me, my mom, and the other customers. On top of the whole thing the wrap I ordered does not even qualify as a wrap. It is about 1/4th the size of a wrap, and at this point is just bread. I am extremely displeased with this and I do not plan to give this company my business any more. Do not go if you wish to actually get your money's worth of food. Below is two pictures of what I got and one picture of what it claims to be served like. Not at all happy.

It definitely calls for an updated review when things change drastically. The food is always a solid choice. I have no complaints there. For your typical deli fare, it doesn't disappoint. The service has gone downhill. Walking in there was one party ahead of me waiting to order. One cashier was taking another person's order. There were about 5 other people behind the counter working...and I use that term loosely. A lot of them seemed like runners. They were just waiting on food. In the past, they seemed to multi-task. Finally one decided to take to a register and began taking the next in line. The food came out fairly quickly and was good. The service just needs to up their game.

1/2 Veggie Spud and Caesar Salad

Not gonna lie, I stopped eating at McAlister's for a long time after they got rid of the Greek Salad and sides of salsa for Veggie Spuds. Maybe it wasn't a big deal but seeing as how that was my favorite thing to order, I needed grieving time... Finally went back last week and got the Half Veggie Spud / Half Caesar Salad with sweet tea. It was a great lunch and I'm glad I went, but the side of salsa definitely makes the potato less dry (they should bring it back)! Also, a little more sugar in the tea would've made me happier, but I can appreciate not immediately contracting diabetes like some teas I've tasted. All in all, there's a ton to choose from and the customer service was wonderful (everyone smiling, greeting customers, friendly when ordering and delivering food, wishing a good day to people when leaving...) so I definitely recommend McAlisters.

I have been buying the bacon and cheese spud for years and have never received such a pathetic one as this!! $11.00 with a drink and this is what they had the nerve to bring me‍ It's usually 3 times that amount of topping and rightfully so for that amount of money! I will not be back to this location!!

I don't usually get to this McAllister's very often, but on this most recent visit, I was in the area for a hair appointment at a salon nearby. I always order the same thing - I love the McAllister's club with fresh fruit. It's consistently good and I love the honey mustard that they put on the sandwich! Service is fast and efficient and there are plenty of tables to choose from - I wish they had more two tops because I was eating alone and I hate to take a 4 top when it's just me! It was late afternoon so there weren't too many people in there. I will be back again to get the club sandwich! Maybe one day I'll try something different - but I am a creature of habit. :)

I go here honestly for the sweet tea, their soups are okay and their sandwiches are kind of disssappointing. They're really small portioned and the salads are very bland and look and taste like I could throw it together in 5 minutes. I always go back when I am craving a sweet tea and then I always leave disappointed in the food. So if you're looking for a good sweet tea come here for the tea don't expect amazing food or service.

She proceeded to take us to our table and pointed in a corner to the "coffee bar". Code for "get your own coffee cuz I'm too busy to get it for you". That shocks me this establishment would have that sort of set up with the number of elderly peeps in the Charleston area. While we were there, a wheelchair bound individual was dining. Do you think she appreciated the "coffee bar"? My husband ordered a farmhouse omelet with a side of bacon. I had the bacon-chorizo eggs benedict. Both were very good. I was disappointed that the spinach and tomatoes that topped the benedict were not sauteed-they were raw. It was still a good dish. The highlight was the cup of fruit I ordered. I don't know if it was just cuz I've been stuck in Ohio without "good fruit", but it was freaking yummy. It was a combo of blueberries, blk raspberries, kiwi, fresh pineapple, strawberries, and an orange slice! All tasty. I had to chuckle to myself while eating. The wall adjacent to where we were eating had some "black board" messages on it. One of the postings was to rent the room area for your next party. As I sat eating my lunch, I noticed that every ceiling tile was sagging horribly from the ceiling and many were stained. Do restaurant owners not realize that ceiling tiles are pretty darn cheap?? These could be changed easily after hours. This place in particular closes at 3 pm. All in all, our lunch was very good, but some details of the operations and ambience detracted from a 5 star review.

The service counter setup was confusing, as there are 2 registers but each facing a different direction. The staff immediately said hi, but never said which register to take my order as he was on the phone. Another staff member then arrived and took my order at the other register. I ordered the apollo dipper, and said I'd eat in. The seating options are a little sparse for one. There were a few tables for 4 or more, but not enough 2 tops. There is a long counter to sit, but I did not find it appealing and sat at the two top. The chairs look dirty, as the back supports had a dirty appearance from all the hands. My chair was also wobbly. Then I noticed the napkin dispenser on the table was dirty with dust. All this validated my initial opinion when entering. My order arrived, but in a to go bag. No problem, I stayed and ate it. Overall the sandwich was ok, with a soft warm bun. The melted cheese covered the turkey and ham below. I can't say the sandwich was very flavorful, so the Formula 45 sauce added flavor. Before leaving, I used the restroom and was not surprised by how dirty it was. Lots of dust on the top of toilet tank and the handicap bars. Then residual dried water spots under the paper dispenser and wall where the trash can was sitting. No effort here. I really don't like giving a review like this, but it was disappointing. I have visited Groucho's in the Columbia area and they were much better. While food taste and value usually come first, the appearance (cleanliness) also contributes to the experience. I've read other reviews that share similar experiences, so this is not a solitary moment. Hopefully feedback helps, maybe owners/managers will see the need to react to concerns. Unfortunately, I will not likely return.

And I really liked the Formula 45 sauce. I ordered a chicken salad as well (no tomatoes or fiesta power blend). The chicken tasted a little funny so I didn't finish the salad. But again, the sauce I had with it (Formula 95) was good. I'd be open to ordering again or stopping by their shop in the future, though!
