Mike the owner came out and initially quoted a price of $400-$600 for the job and when they arrived they raised the price of the job to $1,000, which I was not happy about but agreed to. They only had room for some of my items since they came with the truck already half full and they said I would have call and schedule another pickup for the rest of the items. After they finished loading the items on the first day, they demanded that the job be paid in full for both pickups before they left. After I paid the $1,000 and scheduled a second pickup, different workers came and insisted on an additional $650 after all the items were already loaded onto the truck. When I refused to pay more since this was the third time they were now trying to change the price, they dumped everything in my driveway. They have a shady practice of loading trucks loosely, sending different workers, and trying to extract more money, even after you've paid in full. Beware!

I called them and they gave me a price per truckload. Eddie came out and he told me approximately what he thought it would take to empty the house. I could have had dumpsters brought in, but then I have to fill them. I'll pass on that idea. The advantage here, for me, is they do the work. They worked from 7 in the morning until 10 at night. They really worked hard the whole time. No lunch no breaks just hard work. Went to great lengths to make sure I was happy. This was a perfect transaction for me. Use this company. you won't be disappointed.

It was an emotional time for my family. The crew was friendly, professional, helpful and kind. They intuitively knew what do do and said yes to all our special requests- such as hauling out and helping to load items into our personal vehicles. Afterward, they sent us receipts showing which items were donated to a thrift shop that supports people with Lupus. My family highly recommends The Junk Crew.
