I've had over 20+ real estate transactions personally and use to be a real estate agent in Beverly Hills. Jeff was one of the worst agents I've ever worked with. He represents himself, no one else. I found Jeff through Zillow and it's apparent now that he pays a lot in advertising through the site. I put a cash offer on a duplex . The escalation clause became in affect and those not familiar with this, it means that there was a higher offer than my offer (but mine had the best terms to the seller) and my offer was escalated to the top dollar amount I was willing to pay for the duplex. When the escalation clause becomes into affect, the sellers agent has to provide proof of the escalation. They can't just "say" they have higher offer, they have to show it. Anyways... On the day they accepted my offer Jeff said my offer was escalated (which was 8 hours after they actually accepted it- so there was a huge delay on when I actually found out) I asked him, "did you see the other offer?" He replied, "yes I did" I asked him to send this over prior to me signing any paperwork. I got a "sure thing okay I'll do that." I waited and waited and never got an email of the other offer. I called and texted. Nothing. I was now at a deadline to sign my transaction paperwork prior to it expiring & had no choice but reached out to the sellers agent. The sellers agent was nice, and she sent over the other offer. The sellers agent never sent the escalation offer to Jeff when he told me on the phone he had it. I really don't appreciate being lied to. Jeff never went over to the duplex during my inspection period to even inspect one of the units for me. I would call and text with no reply back for days and days. I asked him if he could be there during which my duplex was being inspected. Nope didn't show for that. I'm an out of state investor, I need an agent that is my eyes and ears. He didn't tell me that one of the tenants was leaving prior to me closing until AFTER my inspection period. I kept asking him over and over again for me for more information on the tenant. I believe he deliberately withheld this information during my inspection period. I debated walking away from this deal and loosing my 2k escrow money because Jeff didn't work or earn the commission he received from this deal. Fast forward to closing day. Jeff is MIA as usual. Couldn't get a hold of him. There were issues with the closing paper work etc. Escrow ends up giving Jeff the keys and he WITHHELD the keys for 11 days. For ELEVEN days my property manager didn't have access to the property because Jeff couldn't drop off the damn keys. read more

There are not enough words to express how extremely disappointed I am in this company!! I've given them several chances and still they cease to amaze me on how TERRIBLE their customer service is. I have dealt with this company both personally and professionally, and every encounter was a nightmare. First time using them, I almost lost out on a rental property because they couldn't get my application processed to the landlord in a timely manner. After the initial rental agreement, they were out of the picture at that property--THANK GOD. I was able to let that go because they were only assisting my landlord in getting the property rented. Second time I used them really made me understand that at the end of the day they do not appreciate their customers what-so-ever! Once my lease was signed I was to pay directly to McCormick and deal with them for all of my needs because my landlord was out-of-state. Fine. But the second something goes wrong and you need something other than a rent check cashed, GOOD LUCK. I had to pull teeth to get them out to fix my garage door that wouldn't open while my car was stuck inside because the person in charge of that department was unavailable (as always) for whatever reason. I got a personal (nasty) phone call from the owner, Trinity, telling me she's working on it, although she was clearly annoyed she had to get involved. Two months before my one year lease was up, the kitchen ceiling started falling apart due to a roof leak. I contacted the head of the rental department again....and again....and again. Finally, after making all the arrangements myself, a company sent someone out to look at the roof about 2 weeks before our move-out date. Who knows if they ever got it repaired after that. And my FINAL breaking point with them was the deposit check! IT WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. No one returns your calls or emails. They count bother to send me my 'final walk through' paperwork, although it was promised to me on 3 separate occasions. The office staff is definitely trained to tell you repetitively when you call that "we legally have 45 days to return your deposit". I think it was repeated to me about 100 times. And after about 10 unreturned phone calls on the 41st day--when I called in a rage having had NO information sent to me about the deposit money, I was connected with the owner, Trinity, for the second time. I couldn't get a single word in when trying to express my frustration with the communication between the company and myself. She finally asked me "do you want my help or not?"...which is unacceptable coming from a BUSINESS OWNER. As I said before, most of my dealings with this company dealt with rentals, but they left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would not even consider them to help me find my first home. Awful, rude, unprofessional company. All the negative reviews are not a lie. Take you business elsewhere!!!! read more

Ali and Jeff did an great job in handling the purchase of our home. They were extremely responsive and acted quickly to get us showing and make offers on properties. In this very tight market, I am convinced I would no have made a purchase without their advice and diligence. Their experience guided us in making the right decisions quickly. Got a house from them when they were re-max. Easy to deal with. Got house for offer but agent should have known it was over priced. First home so relied a lot on agent and was let down. People he had to help him were anything but. Very diapointed with final results. read more

NO INTEGRITY! I put a bid on a home he is representing for a seller, he asked for an extension until the next day because "there was another offer put in". I granted the extension because I increased my original offer, because the homeowner was in contact with my realtor trying to make this deal happen and gave me a number he would accept. THIS REALTOR put in "the offer" for himself to buy the house against my offer. Then, he didn't even notify his client that we upped our offer to meet his (homeowner's) request, and he refused to return my realtors inquiries when he didn't ever respond within the extension period. Plus, I am not the only family he has done this to...my realtor's coworker has had the same thing happen to one of her clients because of him! How many other people has he done this to?! Purely unethical and absolutely disgusting. I wonder how many other offers he hasn't passed on to his clients now too... read more

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! This is my first yelp review because I want to save others stress and heartache. We lost thousands of dollars and were homeless for weeks because this company does not care about people. We were in their rental home for less than 24 hours because there were no smoke detectors and the heat did not work. They don't even keep up with the most basic of renter's rights. Our 3 month old baby had to sleep in a 60 degree house. When no repair company arrived the next day, there was no apology and no solution given. We ended the lease immediately. They promised to return our money but then never picked up the phone. We had to use friends and family's phones just to trick them into picking up our calls. When that stopped working, we went to the office where Jeff hid in a back office while his secretary lied multiple times telling us he was out. Within a week, we hired a lawyer and threatened to bring him to court. ONLY when we were days away from court did they return a portion of the promised refund. Please think twice before working with this company!! read more

When they announced the property tax increase in IL, I went to Indiana to find a home. The first home I looked at, Terri Stooksbury was the agent who showed up to let me in. She was very professional and polite. She offered to send me MLS listings and when I declined as I like to look on my own, she was very nice about it. When I finally decided on a home to purchase, I called Terry and she was very happy to help. She went above and beyond anything I had experienced with a realtor before. She went the extra mile, even following up on many occasions with the selling realtor to make sure all docs got in on time and were correct. I do believe without Terri's help, the closing wouldn't have occurred on time. I have purchased many homes throughout the years and this was the best experience I have had with a realtor. She is very attentive, professional and friendly. I would recommend Terri to anyone who is buying whether they have been through it before or are a first time home buyer. read more
