While I was initially toying with the idea, they quickly answered my questions and even set up a short (45 min) one on one meeting so I can see what the R.E. biz is all about. Giving me a sneak peek at the actual work behind what they do... how they find and interact with buyers and sellers etc. it was all very enlightening. For just over $300 I was enrolled in the Indiana Real Estate Course. After finishing the classes and taking the State test - which I passed first time (^_^) they called me in for another short meeting to discuss my options, they didn't try to sell me on working with them, they basically summed up what they had to offer, what dues I'd be having to pay etc. If you're looking for a good R.E. class - I'd suggest McColly.

Within a short period of ownership, we experienced significant water intrusion in the basement on multiple occasions, leading to expensive repairs and major stress for our family. As we continued investigating the property, we found additional concerns involving plumbing, HVAC installation, and other workmanship that left us questioning the quality of the renovations that had been completed before the sale. Instead of enjoying our new home, we have spent our time and money dealing with problems we never expected to inherit. What has been even more frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability after these issues were brought to their attention. As a homeowner making one of the biggest financial investments of my life, I expected transparency, professionalism, and a willingness to address legitimate concerns. That was not my experience. I encourage anyone considering purchasing a home to do extensive due diligence, hire thorough inspectors, and ask detailed questions about the property's history, renovations, drainage, and any prior water issues. My experience has shown how important it is to verify everything independently before closing.
