Told us to take a seat & someone would be with us within 5 minutes. Josh with a baseball cap, immediately asked our names, vehicle info, ph#, etc. I said "Hi" to him since he had no salutation, just wanted to get started. He said "Hi" back & immediately input our info. He asked for the keys & had us wait in the waiting area. I would say it took about 15 minutes for the eval & for us to come back to discuss the estimate/offer. I thought it was undervalued as I've been getting emails from Carfax almost monthly. I had even gotten my car washed but I guess they have some formula. Josh mentioned something having to do with tariffs being a factor but I didn't see the correlation since it isn't even a new car that needs to be shipped?? Anyhoo, they must have some formula. There were only maybe 3 other families there so it wasn't crowded. There were lots of cars in the lot, though. Once the vehicle is evaluated as they drive it off the parking spot, they drop it off in a designated "Express Pickup" spot. The location is right off I-10/Medical Center so hopping on I-10 onto 410 was convenient.

Got there and waited 40 minutes before we were approached by sales rep. We are from out of town and only went to Echo Park because of their seven day return policy. Time to find out it doesn't apply if you have a trade-in. Also, if it exceeds 250 miles that dishonor the seven day return policy as well. Plus a $700 protection spray that MUST be purchased on all vehicles. At this point 99% chance I wouldn't get a car here. Just waiting to get trade in value and "bottom dollar" Sales manager is quite deceptive, brash, emotionless in his dealings. We fell into the old wait wait wait wait wait and wait longer game with this cast of clowns. Problem is the longer I wait the more furious I get. The presentation took past 5:00 PM. Which means we couldn't go to the bank and get a cashiers check., as they will only accept $5000 on a debit card, which forces you into financing - go figure. Example of their magical math. Sticker price on the car was $23k, had a $4k trade in, bottom line was $22k - GOT MY KEYS FROM MY TRADE IN AND WENT HOME I couldn't get the bottom dollar until I got my keys and was leaving after a 30 minute wait ! When I'm leaving , suddenly they run to me with a laptop and the spreadsheet with the cost - screw them and the utter waste of time at this trash hole!!!!! Only a fool would deal with Ben and his cast of clowns

I recently purchased an EV from this dealership and, while we ultimately completed the sale, the…read moreexperience with our salesperson was deeply disappointing and unprofessional. From the start, we were clear that we had been pre-approved through our own bank and intended to finance with them. The salesperson pushed us to let the dealership try to beat our rate, promising they could get us as low as 3% APR. We agreed to let them try. Before that process began, I asked whether the EV came with a charging cable -- a reasonable question for a new EV purchase. The salesperson told us they had gone out of their way to pull a cable from another EV on the lot "as a favor to us." When the dealership came back with a rate of 4.93% APR versus our bank's 5.02% APR, we politely declined and asked to proceed with our original financing -- exactly what we had requested from the beginning. That's when things took a sharp turn. The salesperson's demeanor changed completely. They told us that if financing was going to "make or break" the deal, they didn't feel they should be going out of their way with the charging cable -- and then stormed off. We were stunned. We nearly walked out. The salesperson then disappeared for nearly 45 minutes before returning and grudgingly presenting us with paperwork using our bank's loan -- the exact outcome we had asked for at the start. The behavior we experienced was rude, manipulative, and completely unprofessional. Using a basic accessory that should come with the car as a bargaining chip, and then punishing us for exercising our right to choose our own financing, is not acceptable. I'd caution anyone shopping here to come prepared and stand firm -- but more importantly, management should be aware this kind of conduct is driving customers away.

Beware of dealerships. I want to be honest about my experience with this dealership, as…read moreunfortunately it did not meet my expectations. From the beginning, communication and customer service were lacking. My salesperson's responses were very slow, and when I arrived at the dealership, I received very little assistance. I was handed the keys to the vehicle and a Carfax report, but after that, no one followed up with me or offered guidance. I ended up sitting for nearly an hour without meaningful assistance, which immediately gave me concerns about the level of customer service being provided. I also came to the dealership with two valid lender pre-approvals, fully prepared to move forward with a purchase. However, both sales representatives, Christian and Anas, failed to utilize either of my approved financing options. To ensure there was no misunderstanding, I personally contacted both lenders, and they confirmed that my pre-approvals were active, valid, and available for use. I also verified with the lenders whether any credit application had been submitted on my behalf, and I was informed that no application had ever been received. This was especially concerning because I was told by the dealership that the applications had been sent. Being given inaccurate information regarding something as important as financing made me feel misled and raised serious concerns about transparency. It also appeared that my financing options were not being seriously considered unless I agreed to work with financial institutions recommended by the dealership. In addition, I had legitimate concerns regarding the vehicle itself, including multiple open recalls and questions regarding a claimed 100,000-mile service inspection. When I asked for documentation or proof that this inspection had actually been completed, none was provided. As a customer making a significant financial commitment, I believe it is reasonable to expect transparency and supporting documentation when such claims are made. Another issue that stood out to me was the inconsistency in communication. I was told I was communicating with Johnny Cuellar, yet the email correspondence appeared to be coming from an email associated with "Rob Aleman." This created unnecessary confusion and further raised concerns about professionalism and transparency throughout the process. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns as a customer were not taken seriously. Between the lack of communication, misleading information regarding financing, failure to address important vehicle concerns, and the overall lack of professionalism, this was a very disappointing experience. Purchasing a vehicle is a major financial decision, and customers deserve honesty, transparency, responsiveness, and respect throughout that process. Beware of dealerships! Thank you!

The body was in excellent condition in spite of its 18 year age. Even the Michelin tires 225 ZR-17 were either new or almost new with low miles on them. They were in excellent condition and with the highest speed rating available. This is a huge selling point for me. Go price these tires today and you will see they are very expensive and of great quality and safety. The leather interior was in exceptional condition as well. The engine had good power and the automatic transmission shifted smoothly as well. The automatic power top was not working at the time and this was not a critical item for me. I will fix it in due time. The ride was not as smooth as it could be and so I will replace the shocks and/or struts when time and money permits. This is my 3 used car purchase from Hani in over 20 years. He is an avid car enthusiast as I am. He always buys special and or unique cars e.g. some with immaculate leather interiors, all the repairs records and/or with OEM books, new or almost new matching tires, very fast cars with Turbos or superchargers, sporty, luxury, or both. Any used car we buy will always need additional work, maintenance, parts, etc. But, in my experience with Hani's cars, he has been very successful in acquiring cars with a lot of potential. And, his prices have always been extremely competitive and more than fair and reasonable. When buying used cars, it is always "caveat emptor" (Let the Buyer beware). That is Latin and legal terminology used when purchasing used homes and/or cars, etc. It is our job as Buyers to examine the products and to decide whether or not we are willing to accept the flaws and or issues along with its great selling points as well of any used property we purchase without any warranties whatsoever.
