I straight up photoshopped my house colors on and they helped me achieve my vision. From the consultation - Evan and Travis gave me a lot of their time, answered all my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed. I felt super heard and like they were there to help me understand! I chose a paint and remodel company because I have a 1930s craftsman home and wanted its beauty and character preserved and enhanced - I knew a regular paint company wouldn't accomplish that. Then came the actual painting. I think I had them try like 10 different swatches and I changed my mind half a dozen times up until the last minute. The crews (led by Jeromy, Richard, and Jason) were all incredibly patient, warm, and friendly. Even when I panicked over my bold choices halfway through the painting, they were calm and easygoing (while still doing diligent and quality work). The guys on the crews were painters and carpenters capable of repairs and rebuilding my wooden porch railing. I will honestly miss seeing the guys around because everyone was so nice! It feels like I have a brand new house and I am so in love! The neighbors have been oohing and aahing as well. McGinnis Restoration and Construction were contracted to repair and restore an upstairs bathroom…read morethat had leaked into the downstairs bathroom causing damage in both. The drywall repair was horrible and did not match the rest of the room. The painters did not do a good job of matching the paint color nor the level of gloss. They came out a second time and did an even worse job of painting, not to mention that they painted halfway up other walls that were not damaged, and even into another room that was not involved. They got paint on the floors, the commodes, and light switches. I took photos and sent them to the project manager and he said he would send them out again, he even came by to look at it. The painters were "sick" the next time they were scheduled to come out, and when I reached out again, I was told they were way behind. They never returned. Additionally, we had another leak from the bathroom upstairs down the wall of the downstairs bathroom. Again, I took photos and sent them to the project manager. The plumber came by and cut a hole in the drywall and could not find a cause for the leak other than the fact that when the new tub was put in place, they did not put down any sort of sealant where the base of the tub should meet the floor. I contacted the project manager again. Our home was left in worse shape than the original leak.

What Zezar explained aligned with the first two inspections, however he provided three options on how to service the issue. During the installation of our drainage system, the foreman gave us a call everyday notifying us when they where 30min away. Everyday they arrived between 8-9am as planned. Additionally, at the end of each day we were provided an update on what was completed and what they would be working on next. I also asked for pictures of their daily progress which was provided. Melinda was also a great touch point and very timely in responding to questions and even calling ahead with updates for items such as delays in materials due to unavoidable COVID back orders. The result...our sump pump is probably the best in the neighborhood! Definitely see the most water drainage compared to our neighbors.

I wanted a cabinet that would allow a couple of drawers to be pulled out for pots, pans and lids. I couldn't find any online or local kits that would fit. I talked to several different cabinet companies and unless I replaced the whole section they didn't do custom. Since I already had new countertops installed, I wasn't in a position to replace the entire cabinet. I finally found John Reynolds through Google Reviews, Reynolds Custom Cabinetry and he was able to get the job done. He was incredible! Please look at the pictures to see how snug fit the cabinet is. We still are in the process of getting them refinished so please don't judge it based on that. But he was professional, polite, punctual, informative, and I just can't recommend him highly enough. He even gave my husband and I a tour of his workshop and it's incredible what he can do. He will literally build from a sheet of wood, he cuts everything down, miters everything himself, only uses the best hardware, he builds things to last generations. The quotes came just under my target price, so I engaged him for this project. And again, he was on time for the construction phase, had few sidetracks, during an extremely busy time for him personally, and was happy to turn my ideas into a reality. The cabinets are extremely well built, and look and work beautifully. The latest soft close hardware, and expert hands turned this gorgeous Alder wood into some superior looking, and home value elevating, works of cabinet artistry. From the start, to the end results, I am impressed by John Reynolds. So before he gets really busy again, I am now in the middle of having him redo our entire kitchen & walk in pantry... which is also on target for the cost budget, and moving at a quick pace. Everything, including countertops, will be finished and installed a week or so after New Years... and that's with 2 big holidays and a night of Partying the New Year in, in between. Colin worked us in over the holidays and worked long hours to get the work done timely. We are very pleased with his work and recommend him. The transformation of the house is noticeable as the previous painter did not have the same attention to detail.

For starters, I DO NOT recommend this company. I was very surprised to see reviews above average on…read morethis business due to my experience. It was comforting when I first hired them to see the positive reviews, but when I examine further now, I wonder if it's because by the end of using the company, I can barely even talk further about them. So here I go.. I contacted them regarding installing a 12'x10' concrete pad and an overhang for my backyard to my residence. I saw the pictures and was in awe. In hindsight, I should have kept it moving. Nonetheless I reach out to one of the employees over a Facebook ad I saw and he gave me a fair estimate for the work. I almost immediately said yes and stopped contacting other contractors and companies. I sent pictures of what I envisioned and even a drawing to ensure I was communicating effectively. In turn, I was told I would eventually be contacted by staff. I waited to be contacted and wasn't within a week or so after being given an estimate. I then contacted the business directly and explained to them the estimate I received. Communication with this business was HORRENDOUS! It was frequently me following up to configure start dates and timelines. Nonetheless, the project was underway around May 1st or so depending on the weather. I was very excited and when the crew showed up, I found myself slightly more concerned. There was an advisement of possible damage to my garage pavement as concrete was being wheel barreled to the backyard. I said if any damage incurred, to let me know and they said they would. Luckily there no damage. I had work and I did not believe I needed to babysit a crew of people who knew what they were doing (presumably). So I left for work as they worked. After a few days of work, they informed me the project was complete. I did not think I would need to check every day after their work, so I tried to trust them. DO NOT TRUST THEM! My husband alerted me there was concrete splatter all on the back side of my house's newly added grey paint. You would think concrete would be difficult to see on top of grey paint, it absolutely was not difficult. To further complicate things, they didn't put concrete at a tilt slightly to avoid pooling water. My concrete slab pools directly in the middle of the concrete. Shortly after install, it also started to crack! But wait, there's more... The company decided to pour the leftover concrete over my river rock without even communicating to me they planned to dump the extra in my yard. If they would have told me, I had the perfect area they could have dumped it! My husband told me it was normal to pool off extra concrete but in a more subtle place of the yard. Not over river rock which is directly over my tree roots from a cherry tree. I immediately contacted the business and within a week received paperwork saying the project was complete. They were trying to have my complete this paperwork even though it was not complete! They agreed to come fix the issues finally after a little over a month goes by. The splatter, fixed. The concrete over river rock and tree, fixed. The pooling of water, NOT FIXED. So now I have to hire a company to fix the pooling of the water issue as the company advised they could not. They offered $200 off for the inconvenience. $200 for concrete work that elsewhere is going to cost me $1600 to fix. What an insult! They also offered to extend things such as the covering to cover the concrete for another $2800. They almost HAD ME! I wanted so badly to fix the concrete that I was willing to pay them more, to fix their mistakes. I am so disappointed with this company and lack of communication. They will get you with their great estimates but cannot follow through. Buyer beware!
