This Costco gas station located with the Manteca Costco warehouse just off the 120 freeway is super…read moreeasy to get to. I stopped in top gas up this big rental suburban we use for our field location work with my crew. Manteca mean "lard" in Spanish ... guess I thought I'd throw that in there ... like a city of lard! Anyhow, Costco Gas usually has the cheapest gas around, though there's not much cheap gas around, especially when the vehicle you're driving gets like 12-14 mpg! I like the hoses here at Costco, cause they're long and can stretch to either side of the vehicle, just watch the traffic trying to squeeze through to get out or to the unoccupied pumps, if you're on the far side filling up. I'm glad this isn't Oregon, where they have attendants that fill you vehicle. The card readers read super reliable and fast, not like some of those no name cheap places where you think your card might get skimmed on the pump or something. All gassed up and ready to go! Now it's time for lunch!

This time was not a good experience. The Hot Cheetos Bag was $5.19. The Baked Hot Cheetos was $2.99. We bought 2 Hot Cheetos and 3 Baked Hot Cheetos. I understand the price difference isn't that big, but it's how the situation was handled. My sister and I noticed how he scanned the baked Hot Cheetos and it came out to be $2.99. He immediately got rid of it and started to do a quantity of 5 for the normal Hot Cheetos (instead of paying $2.99, I paid for $5.19 for all of my items). I even noticed on the receipt that he did it for all the items. I politely asked him if he can do a price check and he wouldn't want to. And then his coworker came by to also tell us that it was the same price. Their attitude and how they were belittling me was what got me to write this review. I understand if they were having a bad day or whatever was happening, but for them to pretty much scam us, was not okay. Unfortunately, this means I will not be going here no more and remember that this is a lesson for everyone to check your receipts!!!

The older lady who works at night is busy giving attention to other customers that she messed up our gas pump and mixed me and another persons pump. I went in to correct it, im not out here trying to steal gas, when I walked in she stormed out to tell my husband pay for your gas because she messed up the pump and he's like smart ass my wife is inside to take care of it. I just ended up here just before lunch and there's a ton of Costco members here. Yeah, you have to be a member here and get you card scanned to enter, even just for the food court or doing a return or something. It's way worth it to be an Executive Member to get in earlier at 9am at most Costco locations. I'm not shopping for anything in particular, I just wanted to see what kinds of products this location in Manteca offered, as most Costco vary in the specialty item like food stuff, depending on the location and the customer base. I know the Bay Area East Bay Costco have a lot more Asian food stuff you don't see at more rural Costco, like the one on Redding where I live. The store is organized and sort of laid out like most Costco's with the meat and produce and paper products all the way in the back. This looks like an OK Costco with all the standard stuff and TV's and computers.

It's my happy place. The employees are all nice and helpful. There is always something new to see…read more(and maybe buy). The prices are reasonable and often cheaper than Amazon.
