I've been to this location quite a bit, it's always dirty. They are busy at lunch because they have quick food for the nearby shops/factories. I just came for my Big Gulp...that's what they're called since 7-11 took this chain over. The floor by the beverage machine is stickier than a movie theater floor. The hot dog/pizza self service area is gross. Seems they rarely clean the place. The cashiers were friendly though.

Although the bathroom water in the sink has that awful "well-water" scent, they have a tiny selection of good Michigan beer hidden in with the barrage of the big brands you already know from everywhere, sold cold and ready to drink. They also sell plenty of typical convenience store things like lottery tickets, soft drinks, junk food, tobacco, and a few grocery items. The staff is also friendly.

I have been a frequent goer of this gas station for over 7 years and have had great experiences…read more Today, Sunday 5/14/17, at about 3:30PM my sister and I went to grab a case of summer shandy to enjoy out in the sun and had the worst experience due to a manager with a bad attitude. Unfortunately, I didn't grab her name. The 12 pack of shandy was labeled not once, but twice, with the price of $6.49. When being rung up and listening to the two employees complain the whole time of how bad their jobs are, they said it would be $16 something total. I pointed out the labeled price to which the manager replied "well you can either scrap off those price labels or grab another case of beer because I am NOT giving you a case of beer for half off." My sister, taken by surprise, simply stated "I never asked for you to give it to me half off but alright?" The managers attitude was completely inappropriate and hostile for this type of situation. Do your job correctly, or at least admit an error was made. I'll be going elsewhere for fuel and beer in the future.

I stopped today, for some beer, because I had just put my dog down, and was heading to go bury him. So that is why I was very upset at the way I was treated by the woman who was at the counter. I couldn't find my Driver's license and so I asked if my sister could buy it, she said "no". (Why? She is of age and had her lisc.) I was just trying to say I understand because I used to worked at Wesco for 2 years. But she just kept going off, so I went outside. I found my license, came in to show it to her, and she said "I'm not going to sell it to you now because of your attitude."... now I wasn't that rude, I was distressed, however. I request that you check the surveillance video for that time. I don't want her fired, we all need to make a living. But she does need to be reminded about courtesy, and treating people with respect.. I was shaking from grief, perhaps my attitude was curt, and she didn't like me, for her own reasons. Any snack you could want and the real winner is the perpetually kind staff. Considering this is virtually the only gas stop along the lakeshore between Holland and Grand Haven, we really lucked out. Separate paragraph to highlight their PIZZA. It's actually so good. My grandparents don't live very far from here and it's quickly become our go-to spot. The thin crust is amazing, as is the cheesy bread, and the regular crust. The bonus of this stop doubling as a pizza joint is that it's open when other locales wouldn't be i.e. evenings before holidays. We always call ahead, as I would advise others to do.
