They deserve ZERO STARS! I made an appointment online with this business for a Notary. I paid $10 to reserve their services. I receive a reminder of my appointment by text the day before. No one showed. No one called. I had my witnesses waiting. I texted the phone number about my appointment and my $10 fee I paid to reserve the appointment. I have NEVER heard back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. DO NOT USE CENTRAL Illinois notary service and imaging! Please see my attached screenshots for proof of me not being a scam artist as called by the owner. AS of 1/4/26 I've not heard back from owner about my refund. read more

Instead of rescheduling the appointment, without hesitation, Kristin asked me to email her all of the documents, which she printed out herself and brought to our landlord. She then emailed me a scan of everything after the notary was complete. She is exceptional and I highly recommend!

Nothing until I left a review on this business also (MB Mobile Notary Service) to which she then called me a scammer and scam artist trying to get whole $10 from her because I'm not in her system. I'm not in her system? YET, I have a receipt, email and text confirmations and text reminder. Don't waste your time, money and hassle dealing with this insulting owner, M'Linda Brown. As of 1/8/26 still no refund or communication back from owner.

DIY gone wrong. I tried to switch out the water mixing cartridge in a shower and due to some…read morecalcium build up, it wouldn't budge. I put it back together, but the water would no longer turn off so we had to keep the water to the entire house turned off. I called Ray's and they were not able to come out that night. The next day they were there within an hour of calling them. An hour later they had it fixed completely. The competition came out the night before and talked about putting valves in the basement, tearing out a bedroom wall to get to the back of the plumbing, and cutting through the shower wall! I knew this was not required because Ray's had switched out the other cartridge just a few months prior to this incident. The competition told me the cartridge was stuck and he may not be able to get a part since it was 8 p.m. He looked up the part and said it would be about $500 for the part and around the same for labor. I told him I'd call another plumber and deal with the mess in the morning. The competition charged me $189 to do nothing. Ray's charged me a total of $200 for parts and labor. I will never attempt plumbing DIY again and I will never use another plumbing service!
