Told the receptionist that I had an infected ingrown toenail and she quickly understood my pain and told me to be there by 3pm. Was quickly brought in and Dr. Nubar Ornekian, DPM immediately knew what to do for my specific and very severe case. He cut one-third of the affected toenail, excised the granular tissue, and debrided the wound. 10 minutes for a local anesthetic, 10 min for the procedure, 10 min to coagulate and bandage. Post-op instructions were easy enough, received a prescription for a round of antibiotics, and told to manage pain with NSAIDS. His bedside manner is great and very much has a wealth of expertise in his +30 years in the specialty. I would not hesitate to refer him to anybody else if you're lucky to snag an appointment. For context, I had been calling around for 1 hour and was lucky to have found him. When I called Urgent Care they said they do not have a specialist who would be able to help me in my situation, especially since I had already started antibiotics. When I called Huntington Hospital they said depending on the assessment of my toe I might be referred out for a outpatient surgery with a podiatrist. So happy to have found this clinic on Google Maps as most Pasadena clinics were booked out for at least 6 weeks, out on maternity/ paternity leave, etc. He is speedy, efficient, genuine, sincere, competent, and left me feeling confident in my post-op recovery. Very thankful for him and the pain relief he has provided me.

Dr. Mancherian gave me her full attention, listening carefully as I told her about my strange foot pain from yoga and running. I even felt comfortable to mention a few things that I wasn't entirely sure were connected to the foot issue but just thought to mention, because Dr. Mancherian never once made me feel hurried or stupid for asking. She nodded and made eye contact with total engagement in MY situation. Rarely in doctors' visits do I feel like I have the physician's FULL attention, but today was one of those amazing exceptions. Dr. Mancherian was kind, witty and very thorough in her examination and recommendations. After the examination, she began telling me about my diagnosis and I asked her if it was okay if I record some notes on my phone. She didn't mind and even spelled a few key words for me and talked slowly so I could type the information into my phone, which I know slowed the process down a bit, but again, she was just so patient. I was recommended a heel lift by my chiropractor, and after searching all over Los Angeles and getting ridiculous prices, I finally sound this location which not only is close my work, but is very affordable as well! Upon walking into the office, I was greeted immediately, and very respectfully. My needs and wants were heard, multiple options were provided to me, and I was given an explanation of the different materials needed to help my body go back to its natural process. This place is so great! I love that the doctor was able to help me with my pain, instead of coughing out numbers and prices from the moment I stepped into his office. His sense of caring and compassion is almost immediate and I'm very satisfied with my experience!
