Next I googled orthopedics and made a few phone calls. Thankfully, Dr. Kantor was able to get me in immediately. Dr. Kantor was thorough from day one. At my first visit, he put me in a cast and followed my ankle closely with regular visits until it fully healed. When I later mentioned that my shoulder wasn't improving, we got an MRI and he told me surgery was needed. I disagreed, mostly because I was hoping it would magically fix itself. He respected that, said "OK," and we tried physical therapy first. Six or seven weeks later of PT, he asked again if I was ready for surgery. I said yes, he had been right all along. My hesitation was never about trust; it was fear of surgery. Dr. Kantor and his staff were patient, supportive, and never pushy throughout the entire process. I'm now 11 days post-shoulder surgery and five months out from the original injury. My ankle is healed, my shoulder is doing great, and while I'm not completely out of the woods yet, I'm incredibly grateful. I'm finally on my way back to the active life I love and I couldn't have asked for better care along the way. Highly recommend Dr. Kantor and his outstanding team.

As someone who works in the healthcare industry it is imperative to have great customer service. First impressions are everything; the office staff immediately greet you, check you in and begin the intake process. Actual waiting time was less than five minutes. Within minutes you're called back for x-rays where the x-ray technician is very mindful of your limitations based on your injury. You are then placed in a exam room where you are greeted by clinician who walks you through your previous health history, very efficient, kind, pleasant and most of all welcoming. It wasn't minutes after finishing with the clinician that Dr. Shah comes in and immediately greets you. His bedside manor is one of the best! Very thorough, explained all options and next steps. More physicians and office staff should model Dr. Anand Shah's patient experience.
