I truly appreciated that Dr. Hu called me the night of my surgery to check on me to make sure I was alright. Best decision ever was booking an appointment and getting my surgery done here with Dr Hu at Valencia Plastic surgery I had a tummy tuck done, i have previously had the gastric sleeve done so I had a lot of extra skin after massive weight loss and had a mess of a stomach and something that really truly was embarrassing, so I took the only step that I knew would fix it and that was surgery. This was a huge cost but the best money spent on improving myself (I'm from Australia and our exchange is awful) From the moment I called to book the consultation, everything went smooth, very professional and super nIce friendly staff, then meeting Dr Hu he was sensational !!!!! I told him what I wanted and listened to what he could do, and let me just say he did the most amazing work I could not be more thrilled with the end result !!! I honestly can't recommend him enough. I did get quotes from other local surgeons and while they were nice seemed too razzle dazzle (and so were the prices) For me. Dr Hu"s professionalism and quality of his work has far exceeded my expectations in every way, my scar looks amazing, everything is hand stitched, not a staple in sight, you couldn't ask for a better surgeon. Dr Hu takes such pride in his work and mostly gets new patients through word of mouth. I was extremely nervous as I don't think I have a high pain thresh hold, but this for me was very manageable pain, I followed everything I was told to do to a tee with out any complications, the hardest part was sleeping up for a few days (I'm a side sleeper) and I found the two drains in uncomfortable but besides that what a breeze ! And well with a bit of discomfort. I went to the surgeon to have my eyes done. If you look at the photos you can see they botched my surgery. The one photo of me with stitches still around my eyes you will notice that there's a layer of skin above my eyes that was supposed to be removed, yet they FAILED to remove! They are hacks! Do not go to this plastic surgeon! I asked to get my eyes re-done the right way and they wanted to charge me! The photo of me in a blue shirt is approximately three years after the surgery. Does this look like a great job that this plastic surgeon did? I'm reporting this surgeon to the medical board of California. He was the first Dr. Who actually considered my diseases and told me that there is a chance where I would have to do 2 surgeries, in which I would have to take out my implants if my body gets rejected. 1. After working for more than a decade with actors and actresses in the entertainment industry, I had heard my share of stories and recommendations for plastic surgeons. I knew who all "the best" supposedly were. A friend of a friend recommended I see Trista for Botox with VPS and I fell in love with her, with Amanda, and with Denise. It was a few years before I actually met Dr. Hu because the whole vibe there is minimalism. I was a happy Botox-only patient for a long time. No one ever suggested I consider anything more. As we age, things in our body naturally are reduced and to maintain a healthy youthful appearance there are things that can be added in a safe, natural-looking way. That was enough for me for a long time and I liked that no one sold me on doing more. But at 50, I decided I was tired of being told I looked tired and only then did Trista suggest it was time I meet with Dr. Hu to see if he could help with my German heritage of baggy under-eyes. I was terrified but it was easy to put my trust in Dr. Hu, who explained a procedure to remove them at great length. Amanda then literally held my hand and made me feel as though I was one of her most precious friends. The results were nothing short of stunning. Jump to several years later and I went back to have the deep smokers' lines around my mouth removed and my neck tightened so as to not resemble a turkey so much. I knew without a doubt that he would be able to do so without changing my face. Again the staff rallied behind me, preparing me, helping me prepare my home and family for what recovery would be like and require from everyone. The day of surgery arrived and they all took such excellent care of me. I woke up and was gently handed over to my waiting family. Next day post op appt came and the staff literally cheered when I came in because the results were already there to see. Others were in the waiting room clearly loving them as much as I do and cheering right along in support. My husband was scared but loves the way Dr. Hu gave me back my more youthful appearance without changing my face. Too-notch from every aspect and super safe with all the COVID protocols. They called and texted me to check on me each day. And PS, I wasn't living in Santa Clarita for the second procedure, but wasn't going to go ANYWHERE else and neither should you! Honestly I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel it's necessary in this situation. I'd hate for any woman to make the same mistake I did. I had a breast augmentation surgery in Feb. at my consultation I asked for a lift and an implant I have larger breast by nature but breastfeeding left me saggy and a bit empty so I felt I needed both. The doctor advised against the lift and suggested a larger implant. 560 I believe was what we agreed upon. I took the professionals advice and had my surgery. During my time on the operating table the doctor chose to use an implant of 695 cc's. I was shocked when I woke up and my husband told me that, but I figured the doctor knew best. When the doctor came to see me in recovery he stated that he chose a bigger implant because there was too much room woth the 560s. (I NEEDED A LIFT, DUH!!) After I was healed completely I was left with huge saggy boobs. They're def fuller but they sit so low I am not happy at all. I went back to meet with the doctor to let him know I was unhappy, that I needed a lift and wanted to consult for that. It was my hope that he would be kind enough to at least just do the procedure for the difference of what I would've originally paid. When I began to talk about the money he quickly disregarded my husband and I and said his surgical consultant handled the money and she'd let us know. We sat down with the surgical consultant who quoted us 6000$ after I just paid 7250$. I left in tears. I have never been so self conscious of my body. My implants are so big they make me look boxy and they honestly look deformed because they sit so low. I would rather have my old boobs back. If you are considering a procedure here please shop around do your research and make sure you're not being railroaded into something that's not best for you. The only reason I'm giving any stars at all is because the staff are super kind. I had The Horrible botox experience with Ms.Trista! We just moved in CA, and I had the eye area and the neck area botox treatments from her for the first time. No body put numbing cream and, I told her that specifically plz be careful. I had a really important event that week. I swear she gave me 2 GIANT bruises. I have never and ever bruised before... I had to use so much make up to cover my face that week and I look 10 years older. I did cry a lot too. Yes she was kind, but it's not enough. I hate writing bad reviews! I really do... But let me just tell you that I've had juvederm before by a plastic surgeon (Dr. Michael Zarrabi) and the experience was so pleasant and positive with him. The only reason why I came here was because I missed my appointment and had to get my lips done before an event. Trista is super nice, don't get me wrong. But when I told her what I wanted done to my lips, she didn't seem receptive. Needless to say, she didn't do the good job I wanted. she even bruised the crap out of my lower lip, and I've never bruised before in my life. I thought I would love my lips after I went home and the swelling went down... Nope. I didn't love them so I had to spend $50 More to go back and see her for her to do a mediocre job again. After I had repeatedly told her what my plastic surgeon does and how I want that done to my lips, she still didn't listen and seemed bothered and a bit inconvenienced by my request. When I asked her to fix the crookedness, she had the audacity to tell me "everyone's face has asymmetry". Lady, it's my lips that are crooked, not my face. That's more product, along with natural swelling and yes, bleeding and bruising happen. As you age, you skin gets thinner, BTW ... This includes your lips. We lose 1% of collegian yearly ... by 30, that's 30%!!! Aside from injections, scientifically proven, Nerium is the only thing I can verify works for that and everything else, but NO, it's not immediate and is not plastic surgery in any form. I was referred to this business by a close friend who I trust. Normally I do all of my own vetting but I decided to trust her judgement and just head here first and only! I'm so glad that I did. When I walked in there was no one else in the waiting room, a welcome sign whether you're in a rush or simply don't want to feel like you'll be waiting forever to be seen. The front office staff was extremely friendly. They made friendly (as opposed to just polite) conversation with me and it's worth mentioning that they all looked great. I personally think this is important. If you're going to a plastic surgery office, everyone should look good! They are living advertisements! The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Everyone is sweet, calm, and accommodating. Yesterday was my second time as a client. My first appointment was with Dr. Hu for lip injections and I didn't think I could be more satisfied with his work. A few weeks later I made an appointment with Trista to get a touch up. And wow she was incredible. It's hard to make an appointment with her busy schedule and limited days but it's well worth it. She achieved the look that I had originally wanted, with zero pain. Sometimes I deal with anxiety which happened after the procedure but the whole staff was nice and accommodating, provided me with water and ice packs. I am writing this review as I had gone through a horrific experience with Dr.Hu . I truly wish I had posted a review to share my experience with Dr. Hu back in 2015. He performed and botched my rhinoplasty. He was very dishonest about his skills and experience as he left my nose with severe scar tissue and worsened my appearance. In 2015 I had my implants removed by Dr. Hu. The initial surgery went fine but I was very disappointed by his unfriendly demeanor and lack of care for his patients. Right after my surgery I was wheeled out of the surgery center and never given any follow up instructions nor did I even see Dr. Hu after waking up. Not one phone call to even check in on me nor was I given a follow up appointment. I called a few months later to tell them how disappointed I was and still no word from Dr. Hu. His office staff could only say "sorry". Now that I think about it, I'm sure he was disappointed that I did not have new implants put in and just wanted to be done with me. I just had reconstructive surgery done by Dr. Lussier with zero regrets going to another surgeon. If Dr. Hu actually cared about his patients I would have given him my business. When I was looking for a surgeon for a BA I did extensive research. Although I had never heard of Dr. Hu through advertising or social media pop ups, his name was coming up everywhere. I believe the best work doesn't need advertising and that word of mouth (and results) speak volumes.My friend had referred him (she had reconstructive breast work done) and I know I should wait until my 6 weeks are complete post OP, but I am gushing over the expertise and results so far. Lovely waiting room and nurses, clean surgery suite, great care and communication. My pain level was never high which I know is due to good work and my incisions are almost invisible already, I have an extremely even, thin and beautiful suture line.Everyone made me comfortable and seeing the good dynamic between employees made me at ease. Dr. Hu listened to what I wanted and did not try and change my mind in anyway, no up sales or absurd recommendations. He went with what is perfectly proportionate to my body. I have been researching doctors for awhile and was very surprised to find a local doctor with such beautiful work. My whole experience was a good one. Dr. Hu and his staff are incredible! I had surgery in June of 2010 and have been meaning to review but am just now getting around to it. I went to several doctors for consultations before I found Valencia Plastic Surgery, and it was basically love at first sight. Everything about the office, the ambience, and everyone who works with Dr. Hu was perfect. Other surgeons I went to recommended additional surgeries to what I went in for, which just made me feel bad about myself, and angry at them for being so greedy and money hungry that they put me down to try and make a extra buck. This wasn't the case with Dr. Hu, he only addressed the concerns I had and discussed with me the different options I had for the surgery. At every visit (pre & post op) I was made to feel comfortable and welcomed, and like I mattered, I wasnt just another 'body" they were going to work on. Dr.Hu is the best! I had my breast done four years ago and love my babies! I recommend him to all my friend. Also I done fillers recently and he made me feel comfortable and safe most of all. If you want a professional, clean and welcoming environment - this is the place to go! I recently had my BA done by Dr. Hu and was blown away by his professionalism and approachability. The entire staff has just been fantastic. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Amanda, his Surgical Consultant, You made this decision so easy for me! I had a previous consultation with a different doctor in town and his staff was very cold and his consultant just seemed to be annoyed that i was in her office. I was uncomfortable speaking to her. When I went to Dr. Hu's office, I was at ease the entire time. Dr. Hu walked me through the entire consultation, he made no assumptions that I knew what things were or meant, he helped explain everything from start to finish and everything in between. When I sat down with Amanda to go over price and whatnot, it was like I was someone she had known forever. The interaction was so comfortable and she did not pressure me at all. Instead, she gave me her number and told me to contact her when I was ready. I walked out of that office knowing that I was going to be coming back. Dr. Hu was able to look at my body type and make the best decision for not only what would look correct on me but also what I would be comfortable with. I made it very clear that i was not looking for a new set of 'bolt-ons' as my boyfriend calls them . I wanted to be proportionate with just a little extra. Dr. Hu helped me navigate through various size options and suggested that I need to go a little bigger than I was thinking mentally because of my chest cavity. He was ON POINT. I am 4 months post-op and so thankful that I allowed myself to trust his expertise!! Operation day was super smooth. Dr. Hu came in and went through the process with me and went over everything we had agreed upon before I went under. He is professional but cold. Very light hearted and sincere which is exactly what I needed at the time. After surgery, the office always knows me by name and when I am going to be coming in. I must have called Amanda 10 times in the first 4 days to ask questions and favors. She never once sounded irritated with me - always happy to help. Thank You Amanda, I know I was crazy.
