We were referred to Dr. Wong by our pediatrician, and I'm beyond thankful he was set in our path. As a first time Mom, I was very uneasy knowing my newborn had more than one heart murmur. I was scared and uneducated about them in general. I knew people could live with them but the thought of my new baby having to see a cardiologist made me nervous. From the very first appointment, Dr. Wong went above and beyond. He shook my hand, asked my name and began to explain the kind of heart murmurs my daughter had. He reassured me that if these murmurs didn't ever close, it would not affect her life in any way. And that many people live normal lives with murmurs like hers. Hearing this made me feel a lot better. He was very thorough and professional at very single appointment. His patience with my daughter as a newborn to now a toddler was impeccable. She has ridiculous "stranger danger" and did great when he got close to listen to her heart. We saw him yesterday for my daughters follow up appointment and her heart murmurs have closed!!! He was very pleased to tell my husband and I that they were not seen on the echo & he did not hear them with his stethoscope. We are ecstatic her heart is "complete", but very sad we will no longer be seeing Dr. Wong. He was a true blessing to us and I would recommend him a million times. So she agreed and next day and ever since her leg has felt like "a rock" and she can barely walk on it. She's been complaining about this pain for years now and no one listened to her. Finally I called Pandian today and asked what it was he gave her in the injection and he said he "never gave her an injection?" Not true! He did and I recall writing this incident in my journal because I'm a journalist and I record everything. Not good to lie to a patient and mom can barely walk with that one leg.
