OMG DO NOT STAY HERE! My first clue should have been the homeless digging in the trash out front. Next clue $85 straight up no taxes no ID needed! Bed was as hard as the floor but I only needed to sleep a few hours to get to a new job nearby. 2:30 AM awakened by helicopters circling and 2 doors down the police banging in a door and yelling "Come out with your hands up!" I like this inn, this place has been remodeled and the new decor looks lavishing. The rooms are simple and clean. Pillows are soft and the beds are clean. There is also a pool in the for families to enjoy. Customer Service is attentive to your needs helping you with your troubles. I stayed here about a month ago with my boyfriend who came from out of town. We paid about $85 for the night. The place was overall clean and safe although we got a room on the 3rd floor and the elevator was not functioning at the time (we had a little workout). Other than that the room itself was clean we had a mini fridge and the AC was fully functioning!! If needed we will definitely be coming here. read more

Negative experience and poor service . We came in during late June. First warning signs was that every room smelled cigarettes. Next warning sign, an open drawer smelled like blood, next we discovered dirty sheets, and when we requested new sheets, we were denied. The list can go on and on. We rented a room with 2 beds for 4 people. The room only had 2 towels and when my husband went to ask for 2 more towels, they said they would bring them right up. We never got the towels. I had to go to target to buy an iron and bought towels while I was there. We rented a non smoking room and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. I had to buy candles and Lysol. No refrigerator, hair dryer or iron. Inexpensive but sketchy. And the smell of marijuana coming out of some of those rooms was overwhelming. And the walls are so thin you can hear the neighbors having intimate relations. Very disappointed read more

The cleaning staff were rude when we asked for new bedding because the bedding that was in there had hair and dead bugs on it. The new bedding they gave us wasn't any better. There was supposed to be free WiFi, there wasn't. And the cable was an antenna that you couldn't get to work. And the over all area that it's in is not a good area at all. Her wheelchair to go up our room and the guy with his disrespectful look of discuss and tells us no no room for us and gives us back my money and tells us to leave I said what's the problem and says no vacancys right now I was pissed and mortafied I couldn't believe it " I'm in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB and the civil rights office cause to me it was a matter of a disability and or a racial discrimination and I'll going all the way with this for justice to all that are looking for a comfortable hotel do not go to this place its dirty bed bug infested disrespectful staff over charging guest and lying about all the amenities they offer like wifi its a. The front desk personnel were very nice and friendly. They told me that Maywood Inn just recently completed the renovation in December. No wonder everything feels new! All furnitures and bedding are brand new, so very comfortable and neat! I really liked the modern simple and yet very appealing interior design. The earth-tone colored room also provided a relaxing and calm atmosphere to sooth the traveler after a long-day exploration around LA... This was one of the worst motels I have ever stayed at. The room was dingy, 3 of 4 lamps did not work, the TV did not work at all, and the blanket was so thin I was cold all night. Plus, the other guests were drinking and arguing all night and I couldn't get any sleep. Plus, the $5 refundable key deposit I was promised at check-in disappeared the next morning at checkout.
