All that changed when I went back last week on Nina's recommendation to work with Kathleen. She is a treasure. A fantastic listener, patient. She loves what she does and that comes through. She's delightful company to boot. None of that would matter if the haircut and color didn't turn out great. I was not at all sure my hair could be salvaged after being razored and chopped in recent months. The color is dimensional and natural and the cut is terrific too. I would like to thank Magnolia salon for its availability (I was able to book a same day…read moreappointment, unheard of in Marin!) and the incredibly lovely staff: a very special thank you to Susan. I arrived with an absolute emergency of a mess, a cut off all your hair, how did I get here, MESS. Major chemical/product damage, it was not viable. I was fully resigned to a short bob for a complete restart, but she was able to use her skill to come up with what she called a "custom haircut" and that's exactly what it was. Where the texture was once straw/sandpaper, is now silk. I cannot recommend Susan enough! If she can make sunshine come out of THIS experience, I can only imagine what she is capable of working with other clients. It was very kind of all the ladies in the salon to come and give their recommendations as well, I really felt like everyone came together and saved what they could of my hair!
