Had a great time at Tina.
Iris R.

Great atmosphere. Workers are great. The place is cleaned, the check is quick. This was my second time there. Saw a comedy "Marcello" and now " Tina". Easy access to parking $10-20. Be advised you have to reserve parking at the church previous to coming to town. The parking at Verizon is $10.00 cash but is worth every penny. From Verizon there is a shuttle that transport you both was to the venue and from. Many restaurants to go to within walking distance. Great!!!!

I always enjoy visiting the Mayo Performing Arts Center (PAC)! Parking is a breeze with metered spots and lots available, making it both stress-free and economical. You can even prepay for parking, so you know exactly where you'll park when you arrive--such a convenience. The venue offers a bar with a nice selection of wine, beer, hard alcohol, and snacks. I highly recommend the soft pretzel bites--they were delicious! Water is available for $3 a bottle. The best part about Mayo PAC is that it's a small, intimate venue, so there really aren't any bad seats. That said, if you can splurge on front orchestra seats, it's absolutely worth it for an even better experience. Ticket prices depend on the act performing, but for a recent Starship show, they were very reasonable: $39, $49, $59, and $69 for premium orchestra. The bathrooms are clean, the bag check and ticket scanning process is quick and seamless, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby to grab a bite before the show. Overall, Mayo PAC is a fantastic place to enjoy live performances!

I've been to most of the concert venues in NJ, and MPAC is one of the best. Ticket prices here are reasonable, and the place is well run. A recent performance by the Blind Boys of Alabama (gospel group) was terrific, after an insufferable opening act, a local singer/songwriter. The sound quality was excellent, and what is more important than that at a live concert? I was able to score my preferred seats, the first row in the mezzanine for the best sound, and an unobstructed view of the stage. I was also able to do the same for another upcoming show, Old Crow Medicine Show (bluegrass/Americana). I had no trouble finding free parking in one of Morristown's municipal lots, and there are a number of restaurants in the area, although the one I chose was not good.

This is such a cool venue. Located in downtown Morris Plains, this historic theater is a great place to see a show. We traveled an hour to see a show here; it was definitely worth the trip. There are plenty of places to stay nearby, too. There is a bar in the front and a merch table. Some of the people who work there are very friendly, others not so much. The acoustics in the hall were really good, even under the balcony. We could clearly hear the show and all of the vocals. I recommend seeing a show here if you can!

Update 12/24/22: Always enjoy attending events at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. The venue offers quiet a wide variety of events for all ages. Trumpet extrodinare Chris Botti, Musician David Foster, Rocker Edgar Winter, Actor Chazz Palminteri are just a few of the top names that have performed at MPAC. The entire MPAC staff is always very hospitable. I think MPAC practiced excellent safety measures during the COVID pandemic for everyone's safety. For example: Checking for the attendee's vaccination card. Note: MPAC will notify you prior to a performance about any COVID updates, Parking Availability etc.... Looking forward to more events at MPAC! Extra: Morristown offers some great restaurants for pre or post theatre dining.

How strict are they with bringing in snacks or food for a baby / toddler?

They sell food and drinks in the theater that you can bring to your seat so I'm guessing that you should be fine

An appetizer order comes with three small slider style rolls. For mains we shared the chicken parm and veggie ravioli. The chicken parm was an absolute show stopper. They do that thing where they come to the table with a hot pan of cheesy sauce and pour it over the cutlet. It tasted even better than it looked, and I love that this came paired with paccheri pasta. The spring ravioli is a nice and light dish and came with lots of fresh veggies. Love the vibes on the patio and an aperol spritz was the perfect drink to enjoy outside on a nice day. Shoutout to Daniel who is the best server ever and was so nice to bring us out a little treat for my hubs birthday. I'm never disappointed here!

They keep a good mix of 80s, 90s, new, sing alongs, etc. The security guys were nice. Bar didn't take too long, definitely a wait but I've had way worse. Bathroom was a little gamey but it was later in the night and the St. Patty's day crowd was out so I'm sure it's usually much nicer. Definitely give this place a shot. So fun!

From the moment we arrived, the entrance was a standout disguised as a regular laundromat with a bouncer outside. The door itself was cleverly hidden, blending in as a regular washing machine, and if you weren't in the know, you'd probably miss it entirely. Once inside, we descended into a spacious area with two bar stations and a stage set up for live music, which gave the place an exciting, eclectic vibe. Since it was our first time, we asked for the cocktail menu and were fortunate to have Dan as our bartender, easily one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. His drink-making skills were on another level, and we immediately struck up a great conversation. Dan started us off with some unique choices from the menu. I tried the Smoked Apple Fashion, which was incredibly smooth with a crisp apple flavor and a subtle smoky finish. It was so easy to drink almost too easy! My girlfriend ordered the Gangnam Style, which was visually stunning with boba pearls, though not very strong if you're after a more potent drink. Next, I had the Cider House Mule, and it was hands-down the best mule I've ever tasted. They swapped out the typical vodka for spiced rum, and it was a game changer bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. This is when things started to get really fun. Dan, seeing that we were enjoying ourselves, began crafting custom drinks for us, starting with Dan's Malibu Special for my girlfriend. She loves Malibu, and this drink was fruity, smooth, and delicious. It was so good, I had to order one for myself. Dan recommended adding a shot of tequila to give it a bit more kick, and he wasn't wrong this was next-level good. Honestly, Dan's Malibu Special needs to be a permanent item on their menu. It's that good and would definitely be a hit. Dan then served up a Peanut Noir Old Fashioned. I know I know, peanut in a cocktail sounds odd, but it was incredible! I was blown away by how well the peanut flavor worked in an Old Fashioned. It was one of those drinks that make you question why you haven't had something like it before. Dan mentioned that unlike many places that use store bought ingredients, they make a lot of their mixers and components from scratch. For instance, their ginger root is muddled fresh for mules rather than relying on ginger beer, which really makes a difference in flavor and freshness. Following that, I tried a Chocolate Old Fashioned, which, while still very smooth, was probably the weakest of the Old Fashioneds I had that night, but it still went down easy. By this point, I was starting to feel the effects of all these fantastic cocktails, especially since I hadn't eaten all day! I ended my night with a Summer Old Fashioned, garnished with either rosemary or thyme (I can never tell the difference). It had that signature smoothness Dan brought to all his Old Fashioneds and was a perfect end to the night. The ambiance of The Laundromat was fantastic. It had a lively yet relaxed feel, with a mixed crowd of both older and younger patrons. Sports were playing on the TVs, and you could tell the energy would pick up even more when the live music kicked off around 7:30. Unfortunately, we had to leave before that to grab some food (after all that drinking, I needed something in my stomach!). Thankfully, I had the foresight to take a Lyft to The Laundromat, easily the best decision of the night. Overall, The Laundromat is an absolute gem. The drinks were some of the best I've ever had, the conversation with Dan was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun, laid-back night out. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable cocktail experience.
