The seating was perfect; the theater was clean; and the sound was fantastic. It was certainly different having those types of movie-theater like seats for a concert, but, due to the calming nature of the two musicians, it still worked. However, there were definitely patrons that were treating it like a loud, standing room venue that were animatedly talking throughout most of the show. I can only assume from the architecture that this intimate theater used to be a church. I went…read morethere this past weekend to see a friend perform. While I had an aisle seat, I found it difficult to see around the person in front of me. In addition to being short, there is no downward slope to the rows of seating at Dreamcatcher. The only other comment I have has to do w/ the restroom in the lounge area. It's a single restroom with a large window. The lower half of the window is frosted, but the upper half isn't...That wouldn't be much of a problem if there wasn't a mirror on the opposite wall. The theater has a three story house as a neighbor and the third floor window can see the reflection in the mirror, therefore the person on the toilet. I admit I was disturbed by that. Also, not sure if this is true for all performances and it wasn't a big deal for me, but when we went to Dreamcatcher on Saturday night, the audience was 75% adults 55+.
