STEPHANIE knowing my Phone # never picked up phone, second phone call the same. I even e-mailed and no RESPONSE! I'm having a Plumber come to take a look at it. NEED A GREAT PLUMBER? Just had Brandon of Ski Plumbing back to fix something else on my aging home…read more My bathtub was leaking and I was expecting I would have to take out a HELOC, but Brandon diagnosed it as not the disaster I feared and had it fixed in about two hours (including going for a needed part). As usual, he fixed something else about the tub that I hadn't requested, installing a very nice stopper system. (I was using a plastic stopper from Dollar Tree and the drain had rusted!) He also regrouted in a color that matched what I had, which wasn't white. Brandon is a large man and can handle almost any job on his own, so I don't have to pay $70 or more dollars an hour for a "helper" to stand around watching a plumber. He will also work odd hours if he is needed in an emergency. He had 10 years of experience working for one of the best and largest plumbing companies in Shreveport before he started Ski Plumbing five years ago. He's also a pleasure to talk with and works quickly and efficiently without making a huge mess. His prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the going rates of the large companies. I rarely recommend any person or business, but I wholeheartedly recommend Brandon "Ski" Chmielewski of Ski Plumbing for both inside and outside plumbing jobs.

This company is the worst. The crew that came to repair two toilets and install a new faucet in…read morethe kitchen messed up everything. They put the faucet in backwards, a cheap faucet that spews out water in different directions and has no way to connect my water filter. They left water running in one of the toilets. It ran my water bill up $30. I have proof from the water company that the leak started the first time his crew came out, and the leak stopped when the owner came out and fixed it. I told them the other toilet was stopped up. They didn't check it. They took a new towel hanging on the wall and used it to mop up toilet water. They never asked me if I had something to get the water up. Then they threw the towel in the laundry room and said nothing about what they had done. I called back and the owner said he would come out and fix things. He put the faucet in correctly and said he would get an adapter to hook up my water filter. He has never done so in spite of making several appts. with me to do so. He has never offered to replace my towel or pay the increase in my water bill. He insinuated that I lied about the stopped up toilet. That it must have stopped up after his crew had left. It had been stopped up for weeks. I was waiting as long as I could before calling a plumber. He did bring in a snake and said he snaked the toilet, but it still stops up. I could have forgotten about everththing else, but when he accused me of lying, that was a different story. This business does not deserve one star, but I had to do it to write the review. I do not lie. Everything I have said here, is the truth.
