Then this company would not even get back to us with a quote. So we chose to call Brown's plumbing to get a quote and see about replacing the whole plumbing system. Mr. Brown personally came by and even called to let us know he was on his way. (Which I thought was nice because we had a baby napping) he walked the house and even got on the floor, looked at everything and asked if the previous plumbers ran a snake or looked for a clog in the vent pipe on the roof. NO they had not so he simply said he would have a guy in the morning come and check that first. So the very next morning first thing another phone call to let us know they were on way, plumber showed up, very friendly, went on roof and ran snake in the vent pipe and the leak was fixed. As well as all the drains in the house working 100 times better, the laundry room drain even was fixed and not overflowing when washing a load of laundry. I recommend any company that the person whose name is on the truck is the actual one who shows up to resolve a problem that two other big name local plumbing companies could not. I will know who to call if we ever have any other plumbing problems. So Thank you Mr. Brown and also the nice tech who was here for your honesty and your service. Thanks, Ashland

Clayton is an exceptionally nice human and very knowledgeable at his craft. He was in and out in a couple of hours. Plumbing repair is expensive. Plain and simple. Clayton was great, got the job done correctly, and I will recommend him to family and friends. Thanks to Clayton and Robert Brown Plumbing for a job well done.

NEED A GREAT PLUMBER? Just had Brandon of Ski Plumbing back to fix something else on my aging home…read more My bathtub was leaking and I was expecting I would have to take out a HELOC, but Brandon diagnosed it as not the disaster I feared and had it fixed in about two hours (including going for a needed part). As usual, he fixed something else about the tub that I hadn't requested, installing a very nice stopper system. (I was using a plastic stopper from Dollar Tree and the drain had rusted!) He also regrouted in a color that matched what I had, which wasn't white. Brandon is a large man and can handle almost any job on his own, so I don't have to pay $70 or more dollars an hour for a "helper" to stand around watching a plumber. He will also work odd hours if he is needed in an emergency. He had 10 years of experience working for one of the best and largest plumbing companies in Shreveport before he started Ski Plumbing five years ago. He's also a pleasure to talk with and works quickly and efficiently without making a huge mess. His prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to the going rates of the large companies. I rarely recommend any person or business, but I wholeheartedly recommend Brandon "Ski" Chmielewski of Ski Plumbing for both inside and outside plumbing jobs.
