I was homeless and put here by the NJ Board of Social Services like most ppl that are staying there. It was home temporary. Owners are very sexist. If a woman asked for something such as toilet paper, or towels. Woman are not even acknowledged other than tossing the items to them. Men are superior in this establishment. As long as u know this u won't be offended when they call u a bitch for asking questions like i was. Jay is the youngest of the owners and is very polite and not aggressive in his way of doing business. He allso handles business appropriately. The availability of drugs seemed to match the street corners if not more so available at this establishment. My window was smashed out while i was in the shower. The other person that was staying in the room said that she took the trash to the dumpster and left the door cracked open so it wouldn't lock her out but when she returned it was locked shut and she saw a man in the room so she smashed the window. That's the story i for when i jumped out of the shower and it was her bleeding and the 2 owners standing there. They told me i could stay since the room was paid for 2 weeks in advance but without a window in that environment is a scary thought. Ultimately, i was forced back to homelessness and police advised me that my stuff works be placed in storage at the motel. It took me a couple days to get off the streets and i returned for my belongings. Keep in mind my neighbors that had become family was keeping me informed about my stuff and when it was being cleaned out of the room etc
Lil things she noticed went right onto managements cleaning cart and the rest into a truck and driven to the office storage. I have to say as a professional establishment stealing or even taking what is left behind is not acceptable. If it's unable to be stored it should go in a dumpster or next to dumpster for ppl to have a chance at getting their things back. In my case they stored what i already had packed and my clothes from the dresser. My blankets that were passed down my family, extremely important documents were gone, my dishes missing, toiletries and cleaning products such as bleach, tideand fabulouslo gone, shelf stable food missing and brand new 3 pack of dove soap, body wash, etc. I have a detailed list of what is missing and im very unhappy. If i hadn't just purchased the items or if it were not essential paperwork i probably would not have even noticed it missing. That's where my problem comes in. The motel owners are robbing its patrons at the very least. Extremists will use the fact that they are immigrants to write it off on our president. It is our fault for allowing it. A person of low socioeconomic status, me for example, that robs someone had to face the penalties of our law. In this case i myself am robbed but blindly quietly and maliciously. Im already depending on the board of social services to house me. Now i gave $127 in can assistance and $276 food stamps A MONTH. I NEED more than i get. Need not want. I eat more than i get. The simplest things like my soap and food will be forgotten about. Things u can't get back like pictures, birth certificates, reference books, note books etc. It happens to a lot of ppl and not just me. I get it but this business that is paid on time, all the time and guaranteed income...... like ss checks.. needs to do honest business. Add to all the benefits of being s business's owner.... free food, soap, shampoo, dish soap, cleaning products and stationary... ask for free too. I mean this is the rich stealing from the poor.
