I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at the Holiday Inn Express was unacceptable…read more During our stay, hotel staff threw away our food and personal items without permission. What made the situation even worse was management's lack of accountability and failure to provide any meaningful resolution afterward. Instead of addressing the issue appropriately, we received dismissive responses that completely ignored the inconvenience, cost, and frustration caused by their actions. As paying guests, we expected basic respect for our belongings and far better customer service. The way this situation was handled showed a serious lack of professionalism and concern for guests. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and would caution others before booking.

Most tile was literally ungrounded, caulk was smeared all over bathroom floor and walls. Items are poorly attached. The so called luxury vinyl floor in the room felt cheap and unpleasant on our feet. That said everything seemed clean and no fouls odors. Paper products are as cheap as can be, scratchy and thin tissues, rough tp, but relatively nice linens compared to similarly priced hotels. Parking is great and there's EV chargers around back. All in all meh.

The only downside was the parking lot for the hotel was completely full, however there is a parking deck across the street that the hotel validated for me. I'm sure it happens a lot since I saw a couple of restaurants and bars on that main drag there. Probably a popular hang out for students and guests. Maybe it was my lack of sleep, or the fact that I booked my travel so last minute, but I thought breakfast was included. However it was not when I woke up "earlier" to see if I can grab breakfast before driving another hour to my business meeting. That's what I get for not reading the fine print. Late night staff that greeted me were super helpful and friendly. They even remembered me when I came downstairs to validate my parking (granted it was just 3hrs later). The room was clean and I was glad to get a little rest for my meeting in the morning.
