I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn…read moreothers. I took my Tesla in for window tinting. After waiting 2 hrs for services to be completed immediately noticed bubbling and other defects in the finished work. The owner Manuel explained that the bubbling would settle within a week. It did not. When I brought the car back, the owner Manuel came up with an excuse that they had used "bad gel" during the installation process, which I questioned why they would let me leave initially without fixing the issue or not contact me, because they have my contact, knowing they had installed a defective material. He continued coming up with excuses to avoid dealing with parts of the car, like the back window, saying that the "bad gel" had not been used there, how ironic. After much back and forth he agreed that the tint needed to be removed and redone. At that point, things became very concerning. When I asked if I could observe the process, I was told that the work area was off-limits. While waiting, I checked my Tesla's cameras and discovered that tape had been placed over them, preventing me from seeing what was happening to my vehicle. When I questioned the owner about it, he became defensive and told me to "mind my own business." In his words "to stop chismeando". That it was illegal to watch them place tints on my vehicles windows. That was the moment I lost all confidence in this shop. Between the defective initial installation, the attempt to block my vehicle's cameras, and the owner's rude and unprofessional attitude, I no longer felt comfortable allowing them to continue working on my car. The tint was removed, but when I requested a refund so I could have the work completed elsewhere, the owner refused. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, this shop responded with defensiveness, hostility, and behavior that felt incredibly shady. I would not trust them with my vehicle and cannot recommend them to anyone looking for professional, transparent service.

Now I have to pay extra to remove them and get a new set reinstalled. Don't waste your money coming here. I requested a refund, and you have yet to issue it. Due to the poor workmanship and substandard quality of the tints installed, I do not want you to touch my 2025 vehicle to avoid further issues. I paid $300, yet you're only offering a $200 refund. Removing and replacing the tints will cost me more than $200, which is unacceptable and unprofessional. If there's any other platforms to file a formal complaint, I will pursue it. Additionally, you stated, "you will refund me if I remove my bad review." I can only imagine how many others have experienced this as well.

One of the reasons I get my tints done here on all my cars is the lifetime warranty they back. Unfortunately, the owners retired and the new owners who bought from them are not honoring the warranty on tints from the previous owners. I don't know how good a job the new owners/team do, but I am not going to give money to them to do tints on 2 cars, when they won't even honor the warranty on the existing tint I bought from Auto Perfection. My extended family also is taking their lease returns elsewhere. Extremely short-sided of them to lose out on a ton of new business just because they don't want to honor warranty on tints from the previous owners. That's exactly how you destroy a reputation... RIP Auto Perfection, you were good while you lasted. Will miss you.

Edgar came to my home and was totally unaware of what a ceramic topper or booster was. He was a nice guy, and I actually went through the effort to teach him about the product category and showed him how to apply. Of course he did not have the product on his truck, so we used a bottle of OptiCoat Booster that I had. I don't blame Edgar but instead blame the owners for sending him out totally unprepared from a knowledge and product availability standpoint. I paid the agreed price nonetheless, but many people would not have. Update and reply to your response: I offered to use my supplies because you were not equipped and did not have the supplies as per our email agreement. I should have sent Edgar away after he admitted that he knew nothing about ceramic coating boasters and did not have the Gtechniq C2V3 ceramic booster as we agreed upon. Instead, I made the effort to salvage the situation which is something many customers would not do.
